Can anyone please explain why my three year old went to sleep wearing a frankenstein mask? Halfway through the Eurovision Song contest last night and my wife and I ended up stood over her bed, trying not to laugh out loud, her with the mask squashed against her pillow.

Kids are weird.

Cheers

Human

Strange, yet adorable. Clearly you are raising another gamer. Good for you, FW.

The Exchange

Now that is a comforting thought.

Cheers Rev

A masterwork flute made of gold. The instrument is worth easily 500 gp. [Sell?]
A masterwork longsword (315 gp) [Leandro has a silver one from a prior loot division. This on was simply MW. He's not a swordy guy, but needed a silver wep.]
A headband of alluring charisma +2 (4000 gp) [Res? Leandro? Probably best in clerical hands if it helps keep us on our feet.]
A set of bracers of the glib entertainer (7900 gp) [Tybalt?]
A pouch containing 180 gp. (180 gp) [Party pool?]

I think all the prior loot was divided or sold, though I don't have time to roll through the thread and prove it. These notes were from a later encounter and definitely were not settled.

Yes - Res will take the headband of charisma. I like the 180 gp party gold idea. And lets sell the flute and the longsword.

If we pool that, we have 680+150+7.5 = 837.5 gp. Is that enough for the potions wanted?

Just a heads up, my posting may be spotty beginning Wednesday afternoon until the following Tuesday. We will be driving up to Minnesota for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary.

Human

Hope you have a wonderful time Tordek. And your parents as well.

Thank you. We are here now, and started the day playing pinochle. My younger brother and his family arrive late tonight. Tomorrow we are going to be throw some pottery as an anniversary gift and then go out for dinner.

Sunday is anniversary cake.

Human

Ah, it sounds idyllic.

34/34HP , AC17

Sounds lovely, especially with the cake. Hope you have a lovely time.

OH from this Saturday, I'll be going to France for a week... I'm not sure if I'll have any internet, so feel free to NPC Tybalt as required. He'll generally use his bardic ability, as soon as, along with Saving Finale - if required.

Rev, you going to Birmingham this weekend? I know some of my friends are, hope you have a great time at the Expo.

The Exchange

Have a good time DSXmachina.

Human

Yes - we're heading to B'ham and UK Games Expo. Have a good time in France.

The Exchange

So how was the show Rev?

Human

Interesting. Felt like they've outgrown the space already (only the second year there). Much better in the afternoon and on the Sunday morning when things slacked off a bit and it was possible to get to the stands. Tripped over an iron bollard and knocked out two teeth plus much bruising, so I saw most of it in a pink pain-killed blur.

34/34HP , AC17

Holy moly, that's terrible Rev Rosey. Hope your better by now... :(

I liked the old place. The centre seems a bit too far out of town and away from other hostelries, shops or hotels.

The Exchange

I liked loughborough uni.

Human

Much better thanks - still have some bruises appearing, but very much on the mend.

Glad to hear! Was the injury related to the theatre, or were you out someplace else?

Human

The injury was related to stepping two inches up onto a pavement from the road at the Birmingham Hilton (we'd gone to UK Games Expo). I spent most of last week explaining this to a bunch of young offenders who were mightily impressed by the strength of my jaw.

"Shoulda bust that miss, you was well lucky"
"Errm ... thanks?"

Theatre still goes on. I'm due to start a production of The Secret Garden at the end of the month - looking forward to it.

The Exchange

You are cut from different cloth to my daughter. She took an hour to get over "eyelash in my eye" and the whole street must have heard her. Ah such a precious princess!

With good reason since he is many shades of wonderful. Such a good show, I'm half glad it's not done very often and half very angry that it isn't done more often.

:O (@ Treppa's new avatar)

Plus I was just wondering if Bardic Performance would help add to any 'damage' done by the torches to the swarm?

Silver Crusade

Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10

Do you have Inspire Courage? At any rate, it would give a bonus to the damage roll for the bludgeoning effect of the torch, but not to the fire damage.

34/34HP , AC17

Well most swarms are immune to weapon damage, so it wouldn't help with batting them away (and rightly so, unless these insects are huge - which I guess we'll see in a moment).

Silver Crusade

Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10

I am likely to be scarce for the next week. I will check in if I can. I am visiting family, and don't plan to bring a laptop.

Happy 4th to those in the US!

Silver Crusade

I am back! I hope those in the US had a great long weekend, and I hope those outside the US are enjoying the summer!

Whoo...I will try to catch up. site is blocked at work. Any easy summary? Was Eliva left somewhere, as she's obviously catatonic? :D

34/34HP , AC17

She probably waited in the pub as we reached the town of Souraigne - a New Orlean/ Carribean Island style place. Then we went around town and picked up a fishmonger/guide, to go into the swamp in search of the Necromancer and the Skull of Harag.
However we are beset by a horrid swarm against which we are virtually powerless?

Burn them! burn them all!

I do like the way that the paladin has to make the diseased fort saves. He makes a fine piece of bait.

cheers

Yeah, I'm a lucky guy...

Human

Connection issues - back again, like a bad penny.

34/34HP , AC17

So I'm gonna be away at a music festival from Thursday am until Monday am, I don't believe I'll have any internet access. So feel free to NPC me and use any abilities/spells as necessary. But he's go waving his flaming blanket next round.

I have in Leandro's notes that he has a scroll of lesser restoration from loot. Did we get two, or did Res and Leandro note the same scroll in their inventories?

Silver Crusade

Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10

A quick review indicates that I have given the group a scroll of lesser restoration on two occasions. Whether any have been used, I do not know, but it is certainly possible you have two among you.

Sweet, thank you.

Shadow Lodge

I just looked at Eliva's character sheet. She can cast lesser restoration. Should we wait for her to post or have Res use the scroll?

Shadow Lodge

Male Husband/10 Dad/10 Gamer/5 RPGer/2

Also, I think we do have two scrolls since I didn't see that we used them. That is how I discovered that Eliva has been casting lesser restoration.

Leandro, the dumb lug, would probably insist on using his if Eliva isn't prepared to cast it today.

Shadow Lodge

Male Husband/10 Dad/10 Gamer/5 RPGer/2

Inquisitors are spontaneous casters. It is one of Eliva's spells known.

Silver Crusade

Male Celestial Cleric of Myself 10/Radiant Servant of Me 10

We can assume Eliva would cast it. Jess has been rather busy of late, but I don't think she would hold back on that spell if someone needs it.

I'm taking my son back to college in Minnesota leaving Friday and returning Sunday. Feel free to post Res' actions while I am away to keep things moving along.

34/34HP , AC17

Seems we're not the most observant bunch - with the paladin get the best of it so far.

Plus finally, Treppa you got a roll above 15!!!!

\m/

Above 10, woo!

Above 5, woo!

>_<

The Exchange

Yep, its a rarity for me to give up perception but it makes a refreshing change to play in such ignorance.

cheers

And back to normal with a 5 and 3.... :D

Sorry for the slow posts. Work has been kicking my ass. It should be a little better for a while.

Always nice to get things kickstarted again with a severed head.

Shadow Lodge

Male Husband/10 Dad/10 Gamer/5 RPGer/2

Since Jess has been too busy to post lately, can we assume that Eliva cast lesser restoration the previous evening on those with con damage? She has it as a daily spell and can cast it two times per day.
