Tess: Looks like you took care of it!
Cavasin: Well, you guys got out with a bunch of information that you were looking for. Frankly, there wasn't a lot left in the library, so you guys did pretty good at getting the needed information. Ya, burning down a bunch of stuff probably throws a wrench into the Collegium's plans and it would make for an interesting point in the world, but I don't think it makes it so we can't proceed.
Speaking of proceeding, now is a good time to start talking about that. I am interested in learning what you guys would like to do. Do we want to start a new game? Do you like the Midgard setting? Do you want to keep these characters?

I like playing Tessara, and I'm enjoying the story so far. I'd be happy to continue it, though we might want to recruit a couple more people to replace those we lost during the first arc.

The Voiceless |

Ok y'all, I have figured out a general plot for a next adventure. There are some things I want to talk about first though.
1) Obviously, my life has recently become a bit too turbulent to guarantee me posting once per day. I want to make sure that everyone is OK with that before we continue. I know it can be super frustrating to have your GM disappear for long periods of time. I have been trying to think of ways to notify everyone that I have made a post so that you don't have to always be checking back here, so if anyone has any good ideas, let me know.
2) If you do not wish to continue with us please let us know now. While I enjoy playing with everyone here, I understand that everyone has their own style and expectations. I will not be offended if anyone wants to back out; I would rather we all fully enjoyed our experience.
3) Do we want to bring any new people on or are we happy with the size of the current group?

1) Same as Vors, I don't have a problem with intermittent posting.
2) I also like our group. I feel like we have a good mix of personalities and skills in the current PCs.
3) I think adding one or two more members would be fun, since I tend to enjoy larger parties and I feel like PbP games make that dynamic easier than it is in live-action games.

At level 2 (wizard), Tessara gains +1 BaB, +1 Will save, another cantrip and 1st level spell per day, and learns the spells charm person and shocking grasp. She gets 6 skill points, and puts 1 rank each into Linguistics (learning Undercommon, or the language of the shadow fey if they have their own), Knowledge (dungeoneering), Knowledge (engineering), Knowledge (local), Knowledge (nature), and Knowledge (planes). She learned a lot of other things while searching through books!
2nd hit die, including favored class bonus: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

I'm still alive, just haven't had a chance to level up ol' Cavasin here. Likely be able to do so tonight, just have to dust off the laptop that had the PCGen file saved on it :P

Hey guys, sorry for disappearing there. At the end of April, my wife and I had our third baby. I was hoping that it wouldn't create too much of a disruption in my free time, but I guess it turns out that it did. As such, I obviously don't have enough free time to regularly maintain and GM this game. On the positive side, this is where the adventure was supposed to end, so it actually is a pretty good spot to stop. I hope you all had fun! Happy gaming!

Congratulations! (Though if it's not a pain, the next time you're on, could you mark this as inactive? Haha)
