She nods while putting an arm around Vishanti's waist, "Yep, I think we're ready to see the sights." She says with a smile before kissing her cheek.

Chris nods. "Same here."

"Oh, heh, I guess you already met her," Toni says, leading the way.

She shrugs, "That's okay. I guess a lot of stuff goes on here and it can be easy to forget about who's met whom and so on. It's okay though, I don't mind seeing her again. I just want to let the people we're going to be working with know the truth about me. I know what you and Gyrthr said...but it's important to me that they know the real me. I don't know....maybe I'm just being silly."

"If it's important to you, it's not silly," Toni says, knocking on Konstantyná's door.

"Yes?" a dark haired woman asks as she opens the door.

"Hey, Lucy," Toni says with a slight wave of her hand. "Are Konstantyná and Laenid here?"

The woman named Lucy nods. She then turns her attention to Jin and Hitome. "Hi, I'm Lucy. I'm Konstantyná's...assistant."

"Girlfriend."

Lucy's cheeks turn a bright pink, as well as the tips of her ears. "Yes, that too. Please come in. I'm going to kill you, Toni."

"I don't mind. I don't think they mind either," Toni says, entering the house. "Don't be embarrassed about it. You two like each other. That's all there is to it."

Hitome manages to conceal the majority of her smile at the exchange between the women, nodding politely as she and Jin enter.

Konstantyná comes in from the kitchen. "Toni, are you raising the Nine Hells in my home again?"

"Yes, no, maybe so," Toni answers. "We just wanted to check in on you and Laenid."

Jin can't help but giggle, "Love is love. It matters not what other people think, as long as you're happy. Good morning Konstantyna." She says with a smile.

"I am not ashamed of my love for Lucy," Konstantyná says. "I just like being professional. Good morning to you too, Jin and Hitome."

Laenid comes downstairs with a towel on her head. "She commands respect. She doesn't want anyone to see her being lovey dovey."

"Good morning." Hitome adds smiling.

"I think you could have phrased that better."

Laenid points at herself. "Summoner." She then points at Konstantyná. "Midwife."

She sits down on the couch, drying her hair. "I have been through much, Konstantyná. There is a lot of value in 'loosening up'. I know you like scaring Arista and all, but drop the act."

Toni nods in agreement. "You seem to be in better spirits, Laenid."

"I almost forgot what it was like to be my own person," Laenid says. "And the luxuries of a hot bath, warm bed and good food. I am simply recovering, Toni. Getting back what I lost all those years ago."

Toni folds her arms. "How do you feel about...getting started with Summoner business?"

"Already?" Konstantyná asks. "Jin and Hitome just got here. As well as Gyrthr and Svanna."

She just shakes her head and waves her hand, "Eh...if we were at a meeting or doing something super important I could see the point of professionalism...but, you're in your own home. You can be anything you want to be and I think it's cute if you're lovey dovey sometimes. It's nice to see people that are in love. I didn't mean to imply that you were embarrassed by your love for her, just that it's okay. Not like the look in your eyes hides it anyways." She says with a smile, "Besides, this is just more of a visit really and not so much business like. Like Toni said, we were just popping by to see how things were going and I thought it would be a good idea to get to know the people we're gonna be working with better. That's pretty much it except for one other little bitty detail." She says with a shrug as she continues to smile. Seeing people in love really did make her happy. If she couldn't have it, it was nice to see that others could. Coming out of the love fog she felt herself drifting in she shakes her head to clear it before looking at the midwife and summoner, "I know it seems sudden, but my feelings are that if there is someone that needs help, we should help them, and the sooner the better. I'm not very good at sitting around being idle you see and I don't think just sitting around in comfort for another day or two while someone else suffers...well, it just wouldn't seem right to me." She says as she tries to explain why she's so willing to get started sooner rather than later.

"I agree, Jin," Laenid concurs. "So what is your 'bitty' detail?"

Taking a deep breath she says, "This." As she changes into her Kitsune form, "I know it might not seem like a big deal to you guys...but it was apparently where I came from for some reason and I had to hide it for a long time so I got used to hiding it....but I don't want to hide it from the people that I'm going to be working with....well, because part of working with people is being able to trust them, so I felt like I needed to share this part of myself. With just all of you at first...and then maybe once I'm more used to things here I can just be me all the time and won't have to use my other form at all." She sighs, "I feel like I'm babbling, but basically...this is who I am and I just wanted you to know that I trust you to know that. Okay...I think that made sense...did it?" She asks as she hopes they can understand what it is she's trying to say. Taking a couple of breaths she changes back into her human form. Sighing she looks at Toni, "Wow...this changing back and forth can be a little tiring. I wish there was some way I could just do this once so everyone would know, and then be done with it. Are there very many left to see? It seemed like there were quite a few at that meeting we had at The Old Fish...but I can't remember exactly how many people were there."

Hitome's eyes skip from one woman to the other, silently noting their reactions.

A little after nine in the morning, she only has five packages left to wrap and realizes at the rate she's going that she wouldn't have anything but one or two left to wrap after lunch if she didn't slow down. Finishing the one she was working on with some beautiful ribbon, she ties it into a pretty bow before carefully stacking it on the other table with the other ones that she had also labeled with her delicate curved writing. Making sure that all the labels are visible on the fifteen packages she had already finished, she goes back to her wrapping station and cleans up all the scraps, making the space look neat and tidy.

Going back out to the main part of the shop she finds Halfpocket, "I've finished all but five of the packages, and my work area is cleaned up. May I help you out here until it's time for me to go to lunch?" She asks, wanting to learn as much as she could about what merchants do.

Laenid smiles. "You're cute in your natural form, Jin. And you made enough sense."

Konstantyná nods. "I'm glad you trust us well enough to reveal yourself, Jin."

Lucy doesn't say anything, but smiles as well.

"I could use a little help straightening things up here," Halfpocket says, pointing to the shelves with items strewn everywhere. "I wish people would act like they do at home...unless people are this messy at home. Then I don't think there's hope for them."

She shrugs as she takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. Blushing slightly she says, "Ummm.....thanks. Well...I don't know why I thought it was such a big deal now. It's just....people can have some pretty strange ideas, and sometimes when they don't understand something it leads to....other things. I still don't understand why being a Kitsune is such a big deal or why some people where I came from didn't like me because of it....some were outright hateful. I will never understand how you can just look at someone and decide to hate them based on what they look like. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Come to think of it...that's about when Gyo showed up...." Taking a moment to try and not end up in an emotional state she takes another breath, "I'm just glad that I'm in a place now where the people don't treat me like that. It's....nice." Taking a moment to think she asks, "So...should we all like, get together for breakfast or something before we leave tomorrow? I think I have enough supplies, but I will check and make sure we have enough of everything for any situation. I'll probably wanna get a larger one of those bags that hold everything. I have a type two bag right now, I was thinking of upgrading to a three or four so we don't have to worry about being overloaded." She says, getting right down to business.

She nods as she goes to the shelves and starts picking up things that have been knocked over, or put in the wrong place and starts reorganizing everything, "Yeah...it would be nice if people could treat other's with the same amount of respect that they would want to be treated with."

"Hate is something that will always exist in the world, for one reason or another," Laenid says. "I think a breakfast together would be good. I might have to get myself equipped. Can you help me with that, Konstantyná?"

"I ought to put you to work, Laenid," Konstantyná says. "But it is my duty to provide for my Summoner when she cannot provide for herself."

"You make me sound like a bum," Laenid sighs.

"By the way, Konstantyná," Toni interrupts. "I have spoken with Jelks about getting Laenid her own place in the next few days."

Konstantyná gets a sheepish grin on her face. "Really? That's good."

She then grows serious. "Yes, Laenid, that should be good for you. Good. Really good. Don't you think?"

Laenid sighs again. "Yes, have all the sex you want now."

She then looks at Jin and Hitome. "Sorry, sorry, sorry."

"Oookay," Lucy says. "I think we've expressed enough tension for today."

"So you want to learn about being a merchant?" Halfpocket says. "Any particular reason?"

Luth then leads Chris, Anyka, Gashka, Eldan, Vishanti and Derika to the carpenter's shop. He walks inside. "Hello, Mr. Meacham. I have a large order for you today."

The carpenter wipes his hands. "Ahh, some new residents. What do you need?"

Luth looks to the group. "I guess I need to know your sleeping arrangements and whatever other furniture you might need."

"A long couch."

"A short couch."

Her eyes get a little large before she just bursts out laughing. Getting herself under control she looks from the midwife to Laenid, "You could always come shopping with me and Hitome Laenid, I don't mind helping to contribute to our cause and then Konstantyna and Ms. Lucy can enjoy some....private time." She says with a giggle.

She nods while dusting off the the shelves as she organizes them, "It's just....I like to do something to contribute that doesn't involve me getting all muddy and bloody. I really don't mind providing food for the town....but I think I can do more than that." She says with a shrug.

"That's very generous of you," Laenid says. "Sure. Let me get some clothes on and we can go shopping."

She gets off the couch and heads upstairs.
