She nods, "Okay, you guys go do that. We'll check on Dau and get our stuff together like I said. If you don't see us when you get off the boat...just wait for us over there by the end of the dock...or right after it whatever. We might as well stick together." She nods again before heading back to Dau's room to check and make sure she had her things before getting their own things together. All she really had to grab was her bag, she was already dressed and everything.
"Ah, a fine choice," Halfpocket says to Jin. "That'll be three gold."
Dau is walking toward the stairs as Gashka approaches. "Oh, looking for me? I'm ready."
Renard runs ahead of Chris toward their room.
"Thankfully, I only have the one bag," Chris says as he passes Gashka and Dau.
She kinda laughs nervously as everything seems to happen at once, "Oh yeah...good. I was just...I thought that maybe since things are a little hectic that we'd like to go to that common house place together? Parthenia showed us where it was so we know where to go. We were all gonna meet at the end of the peer land side to go together, you know...in case you want to go with us so you're not alone." She says while indicating where she's talking about by pointing to it. Looking at Chris she replies, "Yeah, so do we." Looking back at Dau she says, "Anyka and I have very few belongings as well...basically what we had on us when we....well, when we ended up in that strange place. It'll just take us a minute to grab our stuff and then if you want to we can meet you down there with the others."
Derika goes with Vishanti to get their things, which was a bit more than the others since they had time to grab things from their house before leaving Nicae. Once they have their stuff together they go to check on Anselina and her daughter before meeting up with the others.
Giving him a smile she takes out the three gold and hands it to him, "There you go Mr. Halfpocket, you have a nice day." She says before taking the chocolate and heading off with Hitome to see Toni. They would go to the Tailor Shop first and check for her there.
"Sure," Dau says. "Though I'll have to find some place with easy access to water...err...it helps with the whole continuing living thing."
"How have you been accessing water on the ship?" Chris asks, curious.
"A rope and a little drag through the water never hurt me," Dau replies with a smile.
"Doesn't sound like much fun," Chris muses.
Dau shrugs. "It's not like there was another way to submerge myself."
Chris simply nods before going after Renard.
Anselina and Taliya are shouldering their meager bags as Vishanti and Derika approach.
"Sure," Dau says. "Though I'll have to find some place with easy access to water...err...it helps with the whole continuing living thing."
She looks at Dau for a moment with her mouth hanging open before smacking herself in the forehead, "Oh of course...how stupid of me. Maybe we can find someone in charge here after we get our things to the common house and find a place for you to stay closer to the water? Either near the beach...or maybe that little island out there with the house on it? I don't know...but we'll figure out something, don't worry." She shakes her head for a moment to clear it, "Anyways, we'll just go grab our stuff real quick and meet you down there okay?" She says before hurrying with Anyka to their cabin to pick up the few things they had with them before being whisked off to another entirely different world.
Smiling at the two she says, "Ah, I see you have everything. We were wondering if you'd like to go with us to the common house to try and get settled? We just have to grab our things real quick and then we can meet you on land by the end of the dock if you want to."
Anselina nods. "We will wait for you there."

"Sure," Dau says, heading up to the deck.
Derika goes back to their cabin and makes sure they have everything before joining the others at the end of the dock.
She nods and continues onto their room to pick up the rest of their things and make sure they have everything before meeting everyone down at the end of the dock. Looking around she sees how many people there are and wonders how the town is gonna be able to support so many people. Was this a usual occurrence? Did they have protocol that they followed for this kind of thing? Looking around at everyone she starts to feel a little overwhelmed again.
Having gathered her things with Gashka, Anyka looks out at the dock as well. "That island might be the best thing for Dau unless they allow houses by the ocean. I wonder if they have any other sea folk here."
Vishanti slips her hand into Derika's as they rejoin the others.
She kind of shrugs as they head to join up with the others, "I don't know...but I hope we can work something out. We better see about getting rooms for everyone first. Some of us might have to share a room since I don't know how much space they have here." She says while glancing around at all the curious people that had gathered to watch the strangers get off the ship. She wondered if there was anyone in charge nearby that they could talk to.

Smiling up at Vishanti she takes her hand and kisses the back of it, "I know that no matter what happens we can handle it as long as we're together."
When Jin gets to the tailor shop she almost knocks before remembering what Ms. Toni and Ms. Asha said. Opening the door to the shop she steps inside and calls out meekly, "Hello?"
Several paladins gather at the end of the dock and start asking them what their skills are. Based on their answers, they start dividing up the large crowd.
Parthenia walks with Vaeri between her and Anton. She approaches the paladins. "We're going to the temple."
Vaeri doesn't seem that all interested in communicating so she merely stands silently between the cleric and oracle.
Recognizing a couple of the paladins, Anton hails them. "We're just coming back home."
The paladins nods and let Anton, Parthenia and Vaeri go on to the temple. As Derika, Gashka and the others approach, the paladins stop them. "Welcome to Valwick. Is there a particular place you're looking to go to?"
"We're new here," Chris says. "I think you could say we're adventurers."
"I'm from Lysse, but I'm not looking to go back there," Eldan adds.
Gashka thinks for a minute, "Well...Parthenia told us we should go to the common house but....our friend Dau here, she needs to be close to the water, or at least have easy access to it. Is there someone we can talk to about it?"

She nods, "Yes...we are new here. Eldan there is a skilled fighter, Vishanti is really good at keeping us alive, and I bash stuff, but only bad guys. I used to be in the Ganz army....but differences of opinions led me to leave their service. I don't fight for people who kill for their own gain, or just because they can. I believe you have to have something worth fighting for." She says before giving Vishanti's hand a squeeze and getting quiet again.
"I used to be a guard," Dau says. "But I do have that water problem since I am a gillman."
One of the paladins looks surprised. "We haven't seen any gillmen here before."
He signals to a higher ranking paladin, who approaches. The first paladin explains about Dau's requirement. "Hello, my name is Luth, I am sort of the second command here in Valwick. Dau, is it? There is a house on the island with the lighthouse. The current occupant is one of the town's guards, so, if you would like, we can arrange for you to live with her."
Dau nods. "That would be much appreciated."
"Dobbins, will you take Dau here to see Pandi at the lighthouse?" Luth asks the first paladin, who nods. "As for the rest of you, you look like weathered adventurers. I'd like you to meet Barclay, he might have paying work for you and perhaps an arrangement for some more permanent lodgings."
Anselina and Taliya stand behind the group. "It is fine, Derika. We can manage to find our way to the Common House. This paladin says that I could become a seamstress or a washer woman. There is a fine tailor here who needs help."
Derika goes to Anselina and gives her a hug, "Okay, but if you need anything...anything at all, you come find us okay?" Letting go of Anselina she bends down and gives the little girl a hug as well, "Be good and listen to your mama okay? I'm sure there will be some other little boys and girls around here that are your age to play with alright?" She says before tousling the girls hair and standing back up.
Anselina hugs Derika back. "I will. Thank you for everything."
Taliya smiles at the half-orc. "Yes, Miss Derika. I hope that you are happy here too."
Toni walks into the main room. "Hiya, Jin. Is everything alright?"
She nods and gives them both a smile, "You're very welcome. I'm sure we'll get used to things and everything will be fine. Home is where the people you love are. We'll see you guys around, and good luck with everything." She says before going back to the others with Vishanti, "Okay, I guess we're ready to go."
Before they take Dau to the lighthouse island she goes over to her, "Good luck to you, and I hope everything works out. We'll be around if you need us, unless we're off bashing bad guys." She says with a somewhat halfhearted laugh. She wouldn't mind just settling in one place for a little while.
She nods as she gives Toni a little smile as she holds out the large box of assorted chocolates to her, "I was just thinking about how nice you've been and how you helped us get a place to live and everything....and I just wanted to get you something to show my appreciation. You know...kind of a "Thanks for not treating me like a freak" kind of thing. We just wanted you to know that we really appreciate everything you're doing, and we wanted to know if there was anything you needed help with today or if you had any kind of plans? I just...I want to feel useful while we're here until we're all ready to go help that other summoner, and I wanted you to know that we're available to help in any way that you need." She says with a little bow.
"Alright, I'm sure things will be fine," Dau says before heading off with Dobbins.
"Oh, thank you so much," Toni says, accepting the chocolates. "I haven't really made any plans for today besides checking in on the other Summoners."
Gashka nods and goes to stand next to Anyka and Chris, "Well then, I guess we're ready to go too."
She thinks for a moment, "Should we go with you so that we can get to know them better? I'm just thinking that we'll work better together if we get to know the people that we'll be working with. Does that make sense? Of course if it would slow you down, I'm sure we could find something else to do or somewhere in town that we can be of use. I just...I have a hard time just sitting around."
"I agree that it would be a good idea for you to come along," Toni says. "I think you know Svanna and Gyrthr already, don't you?"
She nods, "Yes Ms. Toni, we met them while on the boat on our way here."
She looks at Hitome, "Is that okay with you Hitome?" She asks, not wanting to just assume that her midwife didn't have any other plans.
Gashka looks at Anyka, "Are you ready tuo go see this Barclay person?" She asks, not wanting to speak for the both of them.
Derika wraps her arms around Vishanti, "How bout you love? Are you okay meeting with the leader of their town now?"
