Laenid smiles at Jin. "I don't remember my parents. I don't remember anything before or much after the eidolon took over me."
Thinking for a moment she says, "I'm actually pretty hungry right now and feel like I could eat a horse or two. I usually save the lighter meal for later so....never mind, a restaurant that serves some good sized portions would be very welcome right now. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us around." She says with a slight blush as her stomach grumbles loudly, almost as if to emphasize her point.

Vishanti frowns at first when Gaska approaches Derika, the shamaness fighting the irritation of feeling like her love was being bossed around by someone who hadn't earned that right. When Derika diffuses the moment she relaxes a bit, taking Derika's hand after they buy their things and leave. The dynamic would take a bit of getting used to.
Putting a hand on her arm she looks at her in an understanding kind of way, "I only remember little things though. I was taken to Yamamoto Sensei when I was only five, so I have very very few actual memories of them....but he took over my care and loved me like his own so I wouldn't be too sad. He was a family friend of my parents and a very skilled summoner. He taught me everything he could. I guess you could say he was like a second father to me, so it doesn't really bother me that I don't have very many memories of them." She pauses and blushes slightly, "I'm doing it again aren't I? Well...look, I'm sorry you don't have those memories...but now you can make new ones that are completely yours right?"

Derika leans into Vishanti, "Don't worry about me love, I'm alright. You shouldn't frown so much, you'll get lines in your beautiful face." She says in an attempt to lighten her love's mood. Putting an arm around her she says, "I'm glad we didn't have to leave everything behind." She loved how protective of her Vishanti was, but she didn't want her worrying about how Gashka was treating her. They would have time to figure each other out and Gashka would learn that she was merely younger than her, not stupid or foolish.
Looking over at her sister and their group she asks, "What about you guys? You ready to get something to eat?"
She nods, "I know I am. This shopping really works up a persons appetite." She says with a sly look at her love.

Laenid nods. "Yes, I can."
Giving her a smile she turns to Hitome, "Was there anything else you needed for yourself before we go get something to eat?"
"I'm positively starved."
Eldan nods in agreement. "A good meal would do wonders about now."
"Yeah, I could definitely go for some food right now." Anyka adds.
"Okay, so since we're all pretty hungry I guess we should just go to one of the restaurants?"
Luth laughs. "Sounds like Hadrinn's place will fit the bill. Thanks, Halfpocket."
The paladin leads the way to the restaurant. "I think you can handle it from here. No one bites...well, maybe Gerard does, but only if you get on his bad side. I'll make sure your furniture gets delivered."
Luth gives the group a nod and heads off.
"Thank you Luth." She calls out as he heads off. Going up to the door she opens it for thed others, "Let's see what they have here." Shed says as her stomach rumbles again.
Anyka scans the place, taking in its ambience quickly and spotting a larger empty table, leads the way toward it.
While continuing to hold Vishanti's hand she follows Anyka to the table and pulls out a chair for her love.
After everyone else has gone in, Gashka goes in to find them at a large table and sits next to Anyka.
Smiling warmly at her love, the shamaness sits, briefly bringing Derika's hand to her lips as she settles into her chair.
Derika helps push Vishanti's chair in before sitting next to her and giving her a soft kiss on the cheek, "Love you." She says while caressing her cheek.
Wondering if Hitome had heard her she tugs lightly on her sleeve, "Do you have everything you need?"
A smiling dwarf approaches the table. "Ah, first day here? What would you like to drink?"
"I'll have some water."
"I'd like a tankard of ale."
She nods, "An ale for me too please."
"Make that three." She replies.
Wondering if Hitome had heard her she tugs lightly on her sleeve, "Do you have everything you need?"
"Yes, sorry. I think I have everything." she says having just grabbed herself underwear from one of the racks to add to her clothing selections.
"Ale sounds good to me." Anyka says with a nod.
"Do you have tea?" Vishanti asks.
A little concerned about her midwife she puts a hand on her arm, "It's okay, I'm not trying to rush you. Just wanted to make sure you had everything you needed. If you're ready though, we'll just go ahead and get this stuff and figure out where we want to eat."
The dwarf nods. "Yes, I have tea. So, four ales, a tea and a water? Alright, I'll be back in a moment."
Looking at her as they go up to pay Halfpocket for everything she asks, "So, what do we feel like eating for lunch? How hungry are you Laenid? I'm sure if you didn't even have breakfast that you might want more than a sandwich and soup....but it just depends on how you're feeling. I think everything here is good and I could eat anywhere and be happy." Getting up to the counter she places their items on it, "I think we have everything and are ready to check out now."
Rajni finishes noting in the ledger about selling the type IV bag of holding for one thousand platinum pieces and looks up at the ladies, "Alright, let's see what we have here." She looks over everything and calculates it in her head. Giving them a smile she says, "That'll be sixteen gold for everything."
Jin nods and hands her a platinum and six gold, "There you are, hope you guys have a good day. I think you're doing a great job Rajni." She says with a smile as she puts all of their gear in her bag of holding for now so that Laenid doesn't have to carry everything. Turning to her two friends she says, "Alright, so where shall we go now?"
Even though she looks a little nervous, she smiles at the compliment. "Thank you Ms. Jin, it's nice to do something different. Enjoy your items and your day." She says as she writes in the ledger everything they bought and the amount that was paid. Showing it to Mr. Halfpocket she asks, "How am I doing?"
"I'm pretty hungry, but I haven't been to the eating places around here," Laenid says. "What would you suggest?"
Halfpocket smiles at Rajni. "You're doing very well. I might even be able to take a day off some time down the line. Oh, it's nearly eleven now."
Getting a look on her face she hands the ledger to him she says, "Oh, I need to get down to Hadrinn and taste those cakes for the wedding." She says, going to the back to wash her hands before leaving for the cake testing.
She thinks for a moment, "Well....they're all really good in their own way. If you're pretty hungry though we should probably go to Hadrinn's restaurant."
"Okay then."
As she leads the way to Hadrinn's she says, "It's usually pretty busy, but the food is wonderful and Hadrinn is really nice."
Rajni leaves the shop and heads to Hadrinn's as well. Catching up the trio of women she says, "Hey...how are you guys finding everything here? Things going alright?"
She seems slightly startled by the fetchling suddenly appearing but hides it quickly, "Oh...Rajni, yeah...everything is going really well. The town is amazing and the people have been very nice and welcoming so far. I can honestly say that there isn't anything about your town that I don't like so far." She says with a smile.
She nods, "Good...good, glad to hear it." As she sees that they're all headed in the same direction she asks, "So, you guys headed for a bite to eat?"
She nods and blushes as her stomach grumbles loudly again, "Uhhh...yeah, it's been a while since breakfast."
"I haven't eaten anything today," Laenid says. "So, I'm a bit hungry."
She nods, "I understand. Sometimes it's easy to forget to eat when things get busy...but fuel is important to the body. I hope you all enjoy your lunch." She says as they get to the doors. She steps up and opens them for the group. After they go inside she follows them in.
Once inside she finds a table for the three of them near the fire place and sits down.
Rajni goes over to the counter and waits for Hadrinn.
