I can't do it right now, but we should probably figure out how much we have in trade supplies while the ship is here & make a list of purchases.

For Sarine, her weapon is extremely high grade for this level, but other things are lacking. Jenner's fine breastplate hasn't been enchanted and Sarine doesn't have a Cloak of Resistance or similar bonus yet. Other things would be nice, but those holes in her equipment will become glaring before too long.

Assuming we have the resources, I think Jenner can enchant the armor, so a cloak would probably be Sarine's want right now.

Also, at the risk of being nosy: is Ashlyn missing a L2 spell known? Her character sheet shows 3 but the chart says 4.

So I figured I should go through our treasure, since I've got some time.

Jenner, did you want the +1 seaborne dwarven waraxe (4,165 gp sale value)? I thought I remembered you turning it down, but you've currently got a mwk dwarven waraxe, so this should be an upgrade for you?

Also, who took the ring of swimming? I've currently got the cloak of the manta ray, but hopefully will be able to pass that off (to Tettia?) once my rapier's ioun stone starts functioning.

That's 6,000 gp each (assuming we don't want to throw in a party split, which I don't think we need to do right now, especially if we do indeed have a wand of CLW on order, as Ashlyn thought we did back when we first encounters the echoes of earthfall haunt).

I think a belt of incredible dexterity is probably the "smartest" choice to buy, though I still wouldn't mind getting my swordsmaster's flair. That'd be 6,500 gp total, though.

I still have my masterwork rapier I can sell, which would add 160 gp, but I still need 340 gp in loans if someone's got that available.

I don't want to speak out of line, but I completely lose the thread of the game when we're going 10 days between posts. Again, I don't want to be a jerk, but I have to admit I find it more frustrating when you're updating other games pretty much daily. I understand that interest in games can wax and wane, but I'd appreciate if you let us know if you're not going to be updating this one.

Hey Everyone.

Apologies for how long its been. The short and honest answer about why is that I am no longer enjoying this game. This is nothing to do with you guys, you're all great role-players, and everything to do with me. The problem is that once I started worrying about updating then it became more and more of a worry, and so I put off doing it.

Combined with the fact that I know full well how frustrating this must be for all of you, I wouldn't want to be in a game I was GM-ing and I'm really sorry about that. Unfortunately that feeling just makes the whole thing worse and encouraged me to simply avoid the problem and therefore the game.

So, since this is the final fight of book two, I propose to wrap the game up there. If people want to get a new GM in I'd happily hand over the campaign so you guys can carry on, but its no longer for me.

Again apologies. The fight should take a few more rounds to finish so you've got some time to discuss what you want to do.

The bad guy was on 5hp when he missed Aurelian so I called the fight - Sarine was going to kill him bloodily, we all know that!

For killing Thanaldhu and saving the colony everyone levels up to 7. You also find on the body [i]+1 glammered leather armor, a mwk light crossbow and 25 bolts, mwk longsword, boots of elvenkind, two bottles of messages, ring of protection +1, a wayfinder with Carver Hasting's name etched into the base, oil of darkness, two potions of cure moderate wounds, dust of tracelessness, a mirror, spyglass and flint and steel.

I imagine there are limits to what we'd be willing to tolerate. I wouldn't be up for suddenly being ponies, I imagine.

The things I have more in mind are like: what if the GM doesn't want to do hero points or something. The big thing is probably the legacy magic items and maybe feat taxes.

None of our characters are 3rd party or otherwise very crazy. I'm looking at some of the 'GM Wanted' posts from the recent past and the house rules or style of the prior GM are a potential sticking point.

I'll just say that house rules are negotiable rather than 'whatever you want'. I'll try to get the post up later today: I want to do some wordsmithing on it.

Interestingly, I realized just now that all of our remaining characters are ACG.

Does anyone have the AP in a form that a GM can use? Removing a financial investment required might help to grease the wheels.
