Being able to see an end to this tunnel would probably matter to Sarine, and Jenner would be able to see that far I think. Sarine also has a trait for low-light vision. Would the end of the water be visible with the light we have that way?


Not the end, since the tunnel bends, but you can see that the water level is lower that way.

Yeah, I think the quests felt like things we could do after this mission. Now that we know what we know, do we want to try to find a reason to retreat? The crab and trap probably *should* have let us know we were in over our heads. :) I'm just not sure what the in-character reasons would be.

Last note regarding the "We got here too early" discussion going on. It's weird for them the scenario to say "Hey, some of your people need rescuing" and then to expect you to wander off and get distracted by side quests.


I think the intention is to remind you of the ongoing 'everyone disappeared and we still don't know why' mystery. In retrospect I should have just pushed you gently along the coast one way or the other!

Ahh well - if you survive this then you'll deserve the next level in quick succession!

Question for GM:
Are there any languages we've come across lately that would make sense for Ashlyn to learn with her linguistics this level or that she may intuitively pick up from Elizar that he's forgotten? (Preference for languages spoken by outsiders, which ties in with a trait she has). If not I'll take celestial as a language.

Also, the ring she has that scales with her. Is it's CL 3 until you say otherwise, or does it increase with her level? Just curious for the purposes of the cure light wounds spell each day it grants her.

@Ashlyn: no languages yet. The most common ones in Azlant were Azlanti, Cyclops, Elven and elemental languages so one of those would make the most sense.

The ring is still CL3 until you receive another triumph at which point its CL will increase. Go out and be heroic!

DR 5/magic and slashing right now. DR types stack the negations usually. :)
