Tettia will take the ring of swimming.

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

I went to add the cloak of the manta ray to my character sheet and realized my sword already gives me 30-ft. swim speed. Not sure if someone else might want it in retrospect?

Female Human Wizard (Universalist) 3 | HP 26 | AC 16 | Fort +7 Ref +6 Will +8 | Perc +6 | Hero Point: 2/3 || Familiar (Wallace) AC 16 | HP 15

Well, if you twist her arm like that, Tettia will take it. ;)

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

If Tettia is taking the cloak, probably someone else should use the ring?

I would be happy to use something that makes me swim better.

In dwarvish, doesn't the word 'swim' translate to 'sink-like-a-stone'?

Wear full plate and you can just walk on the bottom right?

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

Except dwarves are odd more natural swimmers than gnomes and halflings (based on no Strength penalty). Less likely to find magical rings lurking in the water too, probably.

|HP: 44/44 | AC 17 (T:13 FF:15) (+2 AC if w/in reach of Elizar) | CMB: +6 CMD: 18 | F:+7 R:+4 W:+9 (+2 Saves if w/in reach of Elizar) | Init +2 | Perc +7, SM +6, Social +0, Intimidate +3* | Speed 30 ft. | Spells: 2nd: 2/4, 1st: 4/5 | Bonded Manifestation: 6/6, Goodberries: 0/0, Phantom Recall: 1/1 | CLW: 1/1, Hydraulic Push: 0/1, Sanctuary: 1/1 | Active Conditions: Spiritual Weapon

I'm really sick. Not going to be online for a few more days.

Thanks.

See? This is what happens when you teach children to 'share'. ;P

Seriously, though, I hope you feel better.

Defeating Helekheterie and forcing her to flee was an act of true heroism and your relics recognise this!

A Good Man's Rest: the skill bonus increases to +3, any phantom/eidolon etc now gains +1HP/level (stacks with other increases such as toughness) rather than +1 HP.

Veiled Master's Bane: is now a +3 Seabourne Greatsword

Ioun Rapier: one of the remaining Ioun Stones repairs itself. (Roll for it and I'll let you know what it does!)

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

1d4 ⇒ 3 -- that would be the cracked dusty rose based on the order I have them written down in.

- cracked clear spindle (cast protection from chaos/evil/good/law on himself once per day (CL 12th)
- cracked amber spindle (+1 to one save [will])
- cracked dusty rose (+1 competence bonus on initiative check)
- cracked (and non-functional) Southern Star Ioun Stones (grants its bearer a swim speed of 30 feet; in a wayfinder, it allows the bearer to breathe water for up to 10 minutes per day [in 1-minute increments]).

--

Er, I just noticed that that last ioun stone is nonfunctioning ... so maybe I could use that cloak of the manta ray, after all? Sorry!

Then its now a fully functioning Dusty Rose Ioun Stone :)

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

So if I'm reading it right, that means it gives me +1 to AC, but also +1 on combat maneuver checks because of resonance, correct? And no longer gives the cracked stone's abilities.

Yeah - you do get the resonance abilities as well as the normal ones.

I'm removing H, I, J and K - they're all linked to giving you hints and clues about Helekhetrie and her tower so you've pre-empted them already!

So - straight to C or go back via Talmandor's Bounty?

Female Human Wizard (Universalist) 3 | HP 26 | AC 16 | Fort +7 Ref +6 Will +8 | Perc +6 | Hero Point: 2/3 || Familiar (Wallace) AC 16 | HP 15

Aurelian, you're welcome to the cloak. Tettia can swim a little bit and doesn't really need to be that maneuverable underwater.

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

C is good for me!

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

Thanks, Tettia. I'll hold on to it for a bit, then.

Occasionally effective dwarf 6 |HP: 53/53 AC: 19 (12 Tch, 18 Fl) | CMB: +6, CMD: 20| F: +7, R: +3, W: +8 (+2/+4 hardy/steel soul) | Init: +1 | Perc: +12 (DV), SM +10 | Speed 20ft | Spells: 1st 5/5; 2nd 3/4 | Fervor: 4/5 | Blessings: 5*/5| Channels 3/3 Active conditions: Bull's Strength

Aurelian you welcher. ;) Sorry for my slowness, got snowed by some family things. Will try and post in-game sometime Saturday afternoon evening. I also vote C.

It's coming up to the time for my family's yearly camping trip. I'll be lacking access to the internet from the 28th through the 1st (Friday through Monday). Feel free to bot me if needed.

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

There are a few people out, but are we waiting on anything else?

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

Don't think so.

Sorry - work filters are picking Paizo up more and more so I'm having trouble posting.

Also sad that no-one wants to try the helmet on... :(

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

I think we were leaving it for Jenner.

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

Just an FYI, I'll be at a wedding this weekend. Probably not back until Monday.

They're called Blast Shadows - but mechanically they're just straightforward undead. So crits etc are all an option as normal. The name is because they're undead-ly reanimated blast shadows of people killed in massive explosions.

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

Are we waiting on something?

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

The GM, I think. :)

And I was waiting on the internet - nice trip to London, got a basement room with no connection... :(

Post this afternoon!

|HP: 44/44 | AC 17 (T:13 FF:15) (+2 AC if w/in reach of Elizar) | CMB: +6 CMD: 18 | F:+7 R:+4 W:+9 (+2 Saves if w/in reach of Elizar) | Init +2 | Perc +7, SM +6, Social +0, Intimidate +3* | Speed 30 ft. | Spells: 2nd: 2/4, 1st: 4/5 | Bonded Manifestation: 6/6, Goodberries: 0/0, Phantom Recall: 1/1 | CLW: 1/1, Hydraulic Push: 0/1, Sanctuary: 1/1 | Active Conditions: Spiritual Weapon

From July 25th through until the end of July I'm going to be busy and very unlikely to post. We've got family coming into town. The week after that I'll be working towards a very important deadline and won't be posting as often as usual. Feel free to bot or skip me as needed. I'll check in when I can.

Thanks!

Ok - thanks for letting us know Ashlyn!

You've had a day of full rest between each encounter. You've basically been wandering back and forth across the map tracking down leads and the length of the paths involved means you more or less always have a day's rest in between. As Sarine said, now you've beaten the BBEG, there's no real clock on the adventure - you're just being completionists at this point. :)

You don't know about the haunt either way without either appropriate magic (Detect Undead etc) or staying to test it. Timewise it's early afternoon, your last trip across the island was quite a long one.

Occasionally effective dwarf 6 |HP: 53/53 AC: 19 (12 Tch, 18 Fl) | CMB: +6, CMD: 20| F: +7, R: +3, W: +8 (+2/+4 hardy/steel soul) | Init: +1 | Perc: +12 (DV), SM +10 | Speed 20ft | Spells: 1st 5/5; 2nd 3/4 | Fervor: 4/5 | Blessings: 5*/5| Channels 3/3 Active conditions: Bull's Strength

thanks! In that case, Aurelian heals that 12 hp as well-- though I'm still out of spells beyond that.

Hey guys,

I leave tonight for Italy so I won't be posting again until the sixth. Take a nap, regain your spell slots and decide where you want to go next. :)

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

Have a good trip!

Regarding the haunt, I think our Spiritualist can Detect Undead at will.

Hi! I’m back and posting now. Just a reminder that over the next week I’ll be posting less often than normal. If you’re ever waiting on me feel free to bot me.

Thanks!

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

I looked around in the party loot tracker to see what we could trade to the naga. We did a great job of selling off our book 1 materials, but here are a couple of things from book 2 that don't look critical to us:

* Ring of Swimming - I think Tettia has this though?
* +1 Seaborne Greataxe
* +1 Light Steel Shield
* silver statue of Desna in Pharasma's embrace
* nonmagical crystal carved amulet
* eight emeralds
* shield that held some rocks - did we ever detect this thing to see if it is magical?
* masterwork handaxe

I can also include a few items that I'm personally reluctant to give up:
* Cloak of the Manta Ray - this is such a good water-travelling & fighting item, but we are coming up with other solutions to get around such problems. Plus, shoulder slot is harsh
* Necklaces of Adaptation x4 - there's a lot of trade value bound up here and they aren't useful to us personally. We aren't unlikely to meet people that could make use of these things, however, and I'm not sure we should give them up lightly. We could probably lose one or two without much impact.
* rectangular sheet of beaten copper etched with various symbols - without knowing more about the symbols, I'm not wanting to let this go

Vriskirsa is a collector of Azlanti antiquities and will attach much greater value to the statue and the sheet of beaten copper than any normal merchant would since they are both Azlanti in origin. The magical shield is Azlanti too but the non-magical one you found is pretty worthless, since its not old enough to be azlanti.

Male human swashbuckler 9 |HP: 81 AC: 24 (16 Tch, 19 Fl) | CMB: +13, CMD: 25 (27 vs. disarm) | F: +4, R: +9, W: +2 | Init: +3 or +5 | Perc: +6, SM +5, Bluff +13, Dip +11 | Speed 30 ft. | Panache: 5| Active conditions: None.

Thanks, GM and Sarine.

Tettia will carry the wand of water breathing unless someone else would be a better choice.

Chelaxian Bloodrager 8

I'm at a loss for what to suggest for a friendly match with Jenner over the Ioun Gauntlet, although I'm open to suggestions. An opposed check would work, but it seems like we ought to be able to do better in a PbP game.

*BREAKS DOWN A DOOR* SORRY DID YOU SAY WE NEEDED GAMBLING GAMES

....i possibly spend way too much time trying to figure out good in-character gambling games for tabletop. I'm running a Skull & Shackles campaign right now, so the 'minigames' are fun things for them to do in port, on the ship, etc.

Camping until Sunday, but I'll go throw up a quick post.
