I think a fighter would be in line. We don't have a dedicated one.
I might suggest half be caster, or you'll be a little behind the curve of everyone else. Alchemist is a good supplement to fighter, with the mutagen and array of buffing extracts.

We also have a monk/druid
What we don't have is a sneeky type, we have some healing, but I'm the closest we have to a dedicated one
And I always go barbarian (or wizard or arcanist, in prep for arcane trickster) when I play alchemist (usually also take the drunken brute and vivisectionist archetypes) gestalts, you can basically become the hulk

I was thinking a sneaky guy with some polearm abilities. I might see about a slayer/warpriest if healing is needed, if only to take the burden of healing me from another.

I think it best people really play what the want to play, its all about fun also.
but it is true we don't have any real trap remover in the group.

trap removal, healing isn't really nessairy, we have two people who can potentially heal, and I'll get better at that once I get lay on hands next level, not to mention a neer overabundance of melee
maybe an arcane trickster?

class types in order of most to least needed, in my opinion pick what you want, anything can potentially useful, and what matters is having fun but given you asked
Trap removal and other stealthy stuff
Tracking/survival/creature knowledge
Divine casting
Misc casting
Arcane casting
Melee

Looks like I can go Slayer to pick up the first two, and go with Fighter (Polearm Master) to get what I was looking for.

i suppose on that note i could change slayer to vanilla rogue, but i am looking for something just a little more supernatural. basically, i am looking for:
using polearms as the main weapon
trapfinding
some supernatural abilities (i guess maybe use rogue talents to get ninja tricks)
improved flanking (comes from fighter archetype)

You could go slayer/inquisitor, and get most of that with much less overlap

Inquisitor doesnt get ANY special ability with polearms, which is a big part of what i am looking for.

Not bad I guess, I just have this negative reaction to overlap/lack of synergy in gestalt, but play what makes you happy I guess

well the increased angles for flanking plus sneak attack is synergy enough for me, reach weapon plus combat reflexes and some tripping ability is always a hoot. plus skirmishing from rogue's Scout archetype will be good.
and i should be able to disarm the traps you all want disarmed, with possible tracking ability at later levels.

GM, is Garuda-Blooded (Plumekith) Aasimar OK for a race? I like the idea of an avian character with wings using a spear to fight, i was planning on taking the Aasimar racial feat that lets me actually fly with the wings (whenever i can fit it in).

Hmm, i don't see it. I see a 20ft (poor) option under the variant abilities, but you gotta ask the GM to roll on that table, and most of the abilities aren't that great.
Also i am thinking about that feat that makes your feathers metal, because how cool is THAT?!

Not mechanically all that good, 2 secondary dagger esque attacks, not if it came with a shield bonus, then it'd be worth it mechanically, though non-mechanically it's pretty cool

yeah, just re-read the feats. can't get flight from the wings until 10th level.
also cant get metallic wings without taking like 3 other feats that aren't good at all.
GM, would it be alright to take the following feat: Fiendish Heritage, but modify it for Aasimar? For some reason i couldnt find a "Celestial Heritage" feat. basically, i can pick one of the abilities from the d100 table, and then roll 3 times and pick an ability from one of the 3 i rolled. It would use the Aasimar's d100 table instead of the Tiefling's d100 table

I was kinda assuming that we were waiting on Tenro before we did combat, as he's just being dropped in as part of the party, I think. That's what we did for other people at least.
