Jones stands up and grabs his bow.
The two remaining Tengu aim at Guang and fire.
shortbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
shortbow: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22 damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Both Miss due to the Monks ability to smack the arrows out of the air. Seeing as they won't be able to do much damage, the two Tengu turn and start to retreat.
Feel free to attack them if you wish.
As the last arrow flies through the air, you look around. The town isn't that badly damaged, and only a few Tengu bodies lay on the ground inside.... among the bodies of one or two of your allies.
In the distance, you see the sun starting to sit and soon after small camp fires start to sprout up here and there. The towns people set a watch and get ready for the next day.
During the night, as you sleep, a rouge sneaks into the encampment and is standing at the foot of your sleeping area as you awake.
I am gonna give the new comer 3 days, after which you should be able to recognize her.
Kuwabara Kasei
|
Wait, so we're taking on a new person? How does that work with only like 2 or so encounters left in this scenario?
On another note, does that mean we've recovered spells and such?
Guang the Enlightened
|
Potshot at fleeeing tengu: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Guang's last arrow misses.
***
He spends time walking among the villagers and trying to encourage them to remain of good cheer -- pointing out how well the defenses of the village have held thus far, and consoling those who have lost loved ones in the defense. Guang is happy to tend the injuries of any villagers and will help make sure his Pathfinder brothers and sister are also prepared for the next day if they need any healing.
Guang outfits himself with several of the confiscated bandit potions and more arrows for his new shortbow.
In the night he wakes, and blinks up at the intruder. "Greetings."
Zalanda
|
Zalanda will search the dead bandits for loot and gear. She will pocket two of the healing potions and give the rest to anyone else who needs them.
Kuwabara Kasei

Guess I'll do that too.

"I like this bow," the Tian man says happily. "I shall keep it."

| GM Amsheagar |
You've got your rest and the mist on the ground is lifting up, allowing you to see the battlefield that stretches out before you. You make it back to the wall as you see the Tengu getting mounted and ready for a second round of attacks. You see this huge animal, covered in feathers start to race towards the town. By the time you get to the walls, it has already closed within 30 feet.

Yes she will.

During the movement to the barricade, Kasei would have drawn his bow. Do you need someone to edit the map for you?
Seeing a great feathered beast, Kasei takes aim with an arrow, murmuring a prayer to his goddess as he does so. Using 1 fervor to swift-cast Divine Favor.

Small retcon, The creature was in a waggon and rolled into the barricade. So, it's right there at the barricade.
Kuwabara shoots his arrow and misses the creature.
Saarai is also unable to confirm a hit on the big feathery thing.
The Creature steps off of the wagon and climbs onto the barricades.

Saarai Shae

Hey all, I'll be gone Thursday through Sunday, but it looks like my acid arrow hit with a touch attack. Remember to have it tick each round!
| GM Amsheagar |
Jones pulls out his bow and shoots an arrow at the creature, but fails to connect. Zalanda withdraws from the creature and Guang tries to attack, but misses.
Kuwabara attacks and does devastating damage, but it only makes the thing madder.

Terribly sorry, Zalanda, but Daze only works on humanoids and only on creatures with 4 HD or less.
My bloodline: Your powers of compulsion can affect even bestial creatures. Whenever you cast a mind-affecting or language-dependent spell, it affects animals, magical beasts, and monstrous humanoids as if they were humanoids who understood your language.
Forgot about the 4 HD or less thou so my round is wasted as the spell has no affect.
