How about Hollow's Last Hope? I am pretty new to pathfinder so I don't know any of the modules but the web summary sounds fun!
Here is what I am thinking for a character. Background and traits etc will need to be updated of course once we pick a module.
Male Half-Orc Cleric 1 (HP 10/10 | AC:18 | T:14 | FF:14 | CMB: 4 | CMD:18 | Fort:+4 | Ref:+1 | Will:+4 | Init:+1 | Perc: +3 | Speed 20)
Kaurak Custos was born and raised in a Half-orc farming commune on the edge of the Greenbelt. The farm was a haven from the discrimination normally experienced by half-orcs, even in a diverse land like Brevoy. Any half-orc who happened upon the commune was welcome to join but but only those few half-orcs who could tolerate the strict rules and nearly monastic order stayed for more than a few weeks. Kaurak’s parents joined the commune long before he was born so the structured life was all that he knew.
Religion had no place in the commune. Not that it was banned; it was just ignored by the members. The commune was led by a council of elders and any religious zeal tended to be channeled into dedication to the community. So when Kaurak started to be drawn to a site deep in the surrounding forest at first people thought he was just being lazy and dodging his chores (a serious offence). It turns out the commune was only a few miles from a long abandoned shrine of Erastil. Kaurak had not be spending his time napping in the shade of the forest. He had been clearing the shrine of over growth, rebuilding the roof, and praying at the alter. It wasn’t until Kaurak was able to heal one of his cousins after an accident with a plow shattered his leg that Kaurak’s time away from the fields was really tolerated. Even so it was clear that Kaurak was not destined to stay with the commune.
After several years of work on the shrine, largely done of his free days and at night it was fully restored. During an evening of prayer Kaurak received a vision from Erastil calling him to restore more of the lost shrines. At first Kaurak did not know how to go about doing that knowing that without a community interested maintaining it no shrine would last long. Then one of the merchants who traded with the commune came with news that the Sword lords were assembling expeditions to settle the Greenbelt. Kaurak knew at once that he had to be part of that expedition. When he announced the plan the elders supported his decision. Kaurak had not been particularly evangelical but they felt his work on the shire was a distraction for the community. They equipped him and gave him one of the plow horses and sent him with the merchant to sign up with the Sword lords.
Kaurak is a tall broad half-orc with grey skin and black hair. His prominent tusks seem out of place on a face that seems to be perpetually smiling. A wicked great-axe sits on his heavily muscled shoulder. A wooden disk engraved with a bow and arrow hangs at his neck. Kurack lacks the clam reserve of most formally trained clergy but he makes up for it with passion and fervor.

Aquanda your character looks good. What you'll have to do is make it into a PFS character. This link should take you to the page where you can do so. It looks like you want to worship Erastil, who has the domains you want and fits into your background well. Also make sure that you start with 150 gold and used a 20-point buy.
As for the adventure you suggested, I can't find it any where. Is it a PFS adventure?
To everyone else, if you don't care which adventure we play, which adventure's can you NOT play?

Here is were I found the module. If there is a different list to look at let me know. Hollow's Last Hope
PFS_Degwyn |
Aquanda, this is the list you should look at: Pathfinder Society Scenarios
Pathfinder Society Scenarios are short burst adventures (4 hours when playing IRL) that have specific rules around character creation, approved equipment, level advancement, etc. It's sort of like Living Forgotten Realms if you're familiar with that.

It looks like it is out of print. Hollows Last Hope
I am up for any module. I will try to pick one if that will help.
Deaglan |
Deaglan reporting in, thanks for the PM. This is an alias of Magabeus.
I have already played the Dalsine affair, and it was fun and could very well have been fatal. I prefer something else as I am not allowed to receive credit for it. My scenarios can be found here
I would like to play Night March of Kalkamedes what do you think of it?
Deaglan |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Do we need to be concerned about party makeup at all? We are all melee/divine casters with no arcane,no skill person.
We will blame the venture captain who put us together... We will manage, 3 clerics casting guidance helps on the skill side.
Deaglan |
Day Job (Heal): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Deaglan is allowed to use Heal for his day job because of his Temple vanity.
Please give me my faction mission, Deaglan always strifes to further the goals of the Silver Crusade
Kaurak Custos |
Kaurak would also like the faction mission.
I am new to organized play (though not to gaming) so any tips tricks or suggestions are appreciated. I have read the guide but I am sure there are things that didn't stick.
I don't think I have any skills that qualify as a day job trained. I don't know how significant a miss that was on my part.

Maybe they aren't too crazy if the mission is escorting an invalid sending a pack of clerics makes some sense.
Deaglan |
Day job is normally a craft or profession skill that can only be made if the skill is trained. It is not significant. On page 21 of the guide you can find the gold earned. For me, my 15 netted me 10 gp.
A first or second level scenario normally gives you approximately 500 gold for completing it, so the day job is a bonus, not a must have. It is nice though for RP'ing purposes.
Must have buy (in my opinion) after the first scenario is a wand of cure light wounds or wand of infernal healing even if you can't use it. You need to use 2 prestige point to pay for the 750 gold as it is above the purchasing limit with fame. There are some nice guides on the forums with the must-buys for low level pathfinders, I will see if I am able to find one.
Above all: do not hesitate to ask and have fun!
Deaglan |
BTW Deaglan, your spells and heal check turned up nothing
I am not surprised and Deaglan isn't either. Was just the thing he would do. Knowing this is the start of the scenario it would be very weird if we solved it with a simple orison.
Although I would get a good laugh out of it at a real table. First dice rolled, the GM stands up and says "Congratulations on solving the scenario, well done."
Ser Willem Dargerion |
Ser Willem doesn't have a day job at this point, and would like to do his faction mission for RP purposes at least. Trying to find the Gameplay thread right now...
nevermind, for some reason it wasn't showing them as linked...
Deaglan |
Ser Willem, I do not want to frustrate your faction mission (if I guessed right that you need to take his sword, did not read it). Deaglan would want you to return the sword to Kalkamedes when/if he wakes.
Posting this to make sure you know that our characters might have some words over this, and that this has nothing to do with how I (player) think about you or the way you portray Ser Willem.
Ser Willem Dargerion |
No worries.. If it creates a story conflict, all the better. I like immersion storytelling and intrigue, but I also know that we work as a team and Ser Willem will see it as such.
Deaglan |
It will go there by itself after 3 months of non-posting in gameplay have happened. Or the GM can do it on the gameplay tab.
GM, thanks for trying, good luck!
