the spider, after a while of staring, rifles between the potions, and rolls one at jo Vassa. It's only label is the instructions- "quaff, then wait for it to take effect.". Meanwhile, the spider's gaze turns to ruby. Unblinking.Jo'Vassa takes the vial, shrugs, and chugs it.
It tastes like water.
the spider stsrts shuffling about through the rom again, creating a small web with a few vials in it.
Morrigan smiles warmly, "Come. I'll show you what I am making. They are spellcards. You can imprint a spell on the card and another spell underneath to collect the energy to cast the spell allowing the user to cast a spell they don't know or have prepared without using their own energy."

malwoa blinks, walking up near Morrigan.
the spider doesn't say anything, wrapping the whole thing up in the small web and pushing it towards ruby.
Malwoa wrings her hands, watching, trying not to let everything scare her so much.

"Well then. It is late, Jo'Vassa has spell left he can cast, but you all need to sleep... Probably... Jo'Vassa never asked..."

Morrigan shows her the paper-making interspersed with tales and stories of other places and such.
Jo'Vassa casts a spell and stays awake, and probably finds something or someone to f*~@
morning comes, and everyone is awoken by a loud commotion, outside the buildings. Looking outside will quickly bring to note that the town is filled with zombies.
La'Vassa is frustrated that her activities are inturupted and as such she gets rid of the undead in the most expedient way possible.... by burning them
the streets are soon seen to be flooded with zombies, as far as the eye can see. Also people. Indeed, most of the citizens are kicking the zombie's butts- but there are a lot. Probobly best to join in the slaughter. Adya is taking a breather, standing in the middle of a circle she cut out of the zombies. The zombies can't seem to figure out how to shamble over the corpses very well.
Morrigan frowns as she looks outside, then smiles, "Well, looks like fun." then she grabs a metal staff taking off the top and setting on the workbench, revealing a blade, then heads out and has fun smashing zombies with her claw, sending them flying with her tail, beheading them with her naginata, and striking them with colorful bolts.

Seeing the ease with which the zombies are falling ruby decides to take a less direct approach. She rushes down the street slashing apart the creatures with passing ease making her way toward the tallest building. Clambering up to its roof where she sets up her rifle and begins taking slow methodical shots at the creatures focusing on where they are entering town from; marking a small piece of paper after each kill."...and 6....and 7...and ghhaha 9..."
"Nah, I'm fine. They don't seem very able to, ya know, hit me."
nothing can be seen, at the moment, aside from the brawl. Most of the people are doing decently on thier own- the town is suprizingly strong and hard.
La'Vassa takes to the sky as soon as she is certain her bedmate is secure. She looks around for densely zombified areas or anywhere that the locals seem to be having trouble, and then burning or bashing the undead to bits.
While she does this she keeps an eye out for her familiar

"I suppose that's to be expected, oh captain my captain," he jokes with her "but even with how week these things are individually, as a mob they represent a threat to life, limb and property... Have the rest of the men had any luck locating the controller?" He waits for her answer before nodding. If they haven't seen the man he asks "where would I do the most good?"
"Can you gather the others for when we actually find who's in charge?"
"Please do."
Adya looks about some more, hacking at some more zombies.
Anthony need only to follow the rainbow colorful lightning cloud that is occasionally striking zombies, like a big sign saying "Morrigan is here!" The occasional flying zombie might also be a clue. And delightful laughter.
malwoa is following after morrigan, rather reserved, unlike what was seen earlier. Rarely, she will lash out of a zombie, but only when they draw close.
"Not really, but there are plenty to go around so I won't begrudge you stealing some of the toys. Seems kind of odd to use them like this though..." slice off a head, fling another with her tail, "...since they are mindless, we normally use them to do the undesirable menial labor, like the trash pits and tilling fields." another zombie gets chaotically struck by a rainbow.
"Not sure what your point is. We are not working for madmen. Not entirely my choice, but he was rather reasonable actually. As for the zombies, they are mindless and without desires, only instinct unless directed by a magician of some sort."
She starts heading off the direction Anthony came from, practically pouncing from zombie to zombie.
"You coming Malwoa?"
"the problem is, zombies are violent by instinct. It might have something to do with the fact that by creating one, you have to imprison the soul that's trying to move on to keep the undead functional." malwoa follows behind them back to adya, presuming that's where they're going.
Morrigan laughs, "That is a ridiculous way to make a zombie. Besides, how can you make it mindless if you trap a soul? Also, instinct is not violent for violence's sake. When instinct makes a thing violent it is because that thing is hungry or is believes itself threatened. Novice casters sometimes make a mistake that causes the zombie to constantly to be hungry or threatened. If that error has made it's way into the local standard spell for zombie making, that may be why the zombies are used like this."

Plumes of smoke periodically billow from the top of the tower each accompanied by an explosive crack! A magical inferno erupts on the horizon and Ruby stand up swiveling her sights to zone in on the impact. Seeing Jo'vassa Ruby walks to the edge of the roof checking the building for balconies. Collapsing her rifle into it's sheathe Ruby leans forward and falls down catching the first balcony.
"Aye, but who is it that finds it undesirable to be working for him? or her?" Morrigan does a full spin slicing through several zombies at once.
Adya jestures to the approaching Antony and morrigan.
"Have either of you seen Jo'Vassa or ruby?"
Adya shouts out as she kicks a zombie she impaled off her katana.
