"could someone see to it that the ghoul doesn't cause more trouble? And could someone search the corpse?"

"She is headed to my house. I'll check in later. Tonight at the latest." Morrigan slithers off after Malwoa, but at a distance to give her space.

Grand Lodge

Ruby checks the corpse for any potentially magic items or identifying jewelry.

BTW, what is the state of the zombie horde?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

the ghoul cuts it's way through the horde, now blindly attacking living things, no direction or purpose. She's too foucesed to even notice morrigan is following. The ground is wet with more then blood, teardrops occasionally mingling with the blood dripping from her hands.

The caster has very little on him that survived malwoa's maiming- the only things that appear mostly undamaged are the cloak and an amulet thst was hidden under it- it glows a dull green.

Morrigan casts obscuring mist but keeps it lighter in front and around zombies (hoping she'll just attack the indistinct humanoid shapes) but makes it heavier between Malwoa and people. Then runs ahead shooing people out of the way (and telling some to clear a path ahead of people and to not worry about the zombies till after they pass) and puts zombies in the way, generally only worrying about keeping Malwoa slowed down enough that she can keep ahead of her and clear innocents out of the way. Morrigan recognizes that Malwoa isn't really paying attention to what she attacks at the moment, and hopes the upon reaching the house she'll accept being alone for awhile rather than seeking targets.

Grand Lodge

F (Female) Human Gladiator 6

Ruby pulls a cloth from her sleeve and wraps it around the amulet putting it in her pack alongside the cloak. "The zombies appear to still be active perhaps this is not the only culprit."

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

malwoa hasn't hit an innocent yet, but it certainly looks like she might, cleaving what seems like blindly. The warning of Morgan prevents people from attack the enraged ghoul, as she flees out to the house.

"No, this is just the default state of black necromancy creations, blind rage and destruction against the living" Anyhony moves on to destroy as many zombies as remained, La'vassa is close behind on his heels

Ruby looks about seeing most all threats being handled."Should get these looked at.." and wanders off towards Anna's eliminating what undead cross her path.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

'the zombies are rather quickly cleared out- the town is tough, and with help from Antony and la'Vassa there isn't much left. No-one has dared to venture back to Charlie's district. Malowa curls up at morrigan's house, quivering.

Female Spiderling

Anna is busy, as always, when ruby opens to door, sewing away.

Anthony helps with reconstructing any damage from the fight and helps clear out the bodies.

Female Spiderling

"I have. I just know this town can handle it."

Morrigan curls up nearby, patiently waiting on Malwoa.

After a while, in an uncommonly gentle tone, "How do you feel?"

"Fair enough, you know it far better than I." Ruby sits across from Anna, helping her work. "The man behind this nuisance has left a few items, i was wondering if you couldn't tell me something about them."

"I found these on the corpse of a recently deceased, and rather unsavory, necromancer."

"You are a soul container, in the same sense all those people out there are soul containers. The only difference is the energy flow. Whether it flows one way or the other doesn't much matter. Sure, minor details shift, but the same basic principals still apply. You live, even if in a different way, you still live. Wouldn't I know being of the same flow of life as you?"

"I'm not the same as the soul that was used to make me. I'm a corrupted copy of that individual."

In tone that implies she is quoting someone, or something, "A copy once made has become a thing of it's own, no longer a piece of the original it has become an original itself" she sighs, "I am a reapling. Many of us are copies of a sort, and yet once we are made, we become ourselves however much we have seemed identical at first, from that similarity great diversity blooms. When the prince of our enemy attacked, he came on the back of a dragon. A beast that been raised in pain and torture and knew nothing else, and attacked with great hate and ruthlessness. Once we killed it, we took the bones and used them to make a new reapling. She looks very similar, yet you can see in her eyes patience and curiousity where there used be malice. You are the same. What you used to and what you are now are two distinct people. You can live in regret, sorrow, and a sense of failure, or you can realize that whatever your old self was, you are a new person with new challanges and weaknesses to overcome, and new strengths to learn to use to overcome them."

"Every second I live, though, is another that this soul, who isn't me, and is plenty unhappy to be here, doesn't move on. It's not a choice of how I live. It's if. I'm not sure you understand undead as well as you claim to. I'm an intellegnce made by magic, using this soul as somehting to keep me alive and aware. When I'm dead, I don't go anywhere, and the soul is released. The soul stays the same as it was when I died, meaning my existence is just an extension to the prison sentence the Mage made for thst soul."

"If a soul being in a body is prison, then life itself is imprisonment, and yet life has value. All intelligence being are made by a form of magic, some by the natural magic of the world, others by the direct magic of a another being. If that soul you claim to possess remains untarnished, then what is the rush? That soul will make it where ever it is going in due course. You however are a result of those events, the only right thing to do is make sure that something positive came as a result rather than letting those events be meaningless. So live a while, do good stuff that makes the all pain meaningful, and not pointless."

"In this setting, though, undead can be raised without imprisonment, but all such undead are sentient and free willed, and new creature- the soul has passed on, and a brand new one has been made."

Changing something or does she not correctly understand herself?

malwoa shifts a bit at the mentioning of there not needing to be a rush, consdring the soul is untarnished.

"I... Suppose you're right. But... I get mad so easily. And I can't help but want to eat corpses."

"There are plenty of folks with those problems, well maybe not corpsed, but wanting to eat things they shouldn't seems close enough to me. These are just a couple new challanges set before you. Overcoming them will require self discipline, and I can help you with that." After a short pause, a slight joke, "At least you won't need to worry about getting fat, right?"

malwoa Sighs.

"I guess I don't have to worry about that. Unless I get infested. That's... Gonna be a worry."

"That's a simple thing to handle. But we can worry that later. For now, just figure out who you wamt to be and what purpose you want to set for yourself.
