the creature tries it's best not to move, shivering slightly as it's neck is stitched shut.

the creature sputters, still talking through a mouthful of blood.

He gives what he hopes is a calming smile as he says "it's no problem, all part of the job as it were... Do you have a name?"

Ruby watches Jo'Vassa with equal parts shock and amusement.

there's suddenly a twenty foot wide, blazing inferno where jo'Vassa charged. When the smoke clears, a feint hissing can be heard, echoing throught the cave. The dying fire illuminates the forms of numerous humanoids deeper in an open chasm.

"See, not a chalange....oh... Hello there..."

DM notes that the glyph was still in the tight corridor.

"Is this your glyph? Jo'Vassa didn't break it"

Ruby leaps back from the inferno covering her face. ref: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 As the smoke clears Ruby coughs and levels her weapon at the opening.cough... cough "Who are cough you!?"

Jo'Vassa shimmers slightly under the effect of a guidance spell, cast on himself, but otherwise stands and smiles

there's a pause, then a bang as the hissing stops, a huge pile of flaming, oil covered rocks dropping in front of the exit of the tunnel.

"Jo'Vassa also did not break that"

there is no cave in behind you, ruby. It's blocking you from moving further, rocks dropping to prevent you from moving farther into the cave..

"S+~% this whole place could collapse!"Ruby rushes back towards the entrance.

"Don't be leaving so soon, Jo'Vassa can fix this" he says slamming his pimp cane on the ground releasing a puff of smoke out from which emerge two giant, beefy lizards who immiedietly set about removing the stones from the path"

Ruby pauses and smile sheepishly, a red tinge warming her cheeks."Sorry old habits-" Ruby walks back over to Jo'Vassa "-So what were those things?"

Morrigan is at this point, slithering through town following her hand drawn map looking for the address Anthony gave her.

"I remember a lot. I'm gonna hunt them down and kill them."

The address leads to the house of a dehampir, leaning against his doorframe and drinking somehting or other,

"Now now, let's not be too hasty, it's our job to bring people to justice, not yours, and besides, not to put too fine of a point on it but you hardly look up to the task right now"

the creature seethes, putting a hand to it's neck.
"Look... I'm not... Quite what you think... I'm actually malowa. I'm not something new. Black necromancy."
the creature's stiches come undone a bit more.

"All the more reason you should leave this to the professionals, mam. Just talking seems to be messing up the patch job I did on you. I'm not the best of seamstresses... If you want to help you can write down everything you remember about the incident" he says handing her a pad of paper.
