Ellen is siting, without her armor on and only holds her glaive, bow ,quiver, and her gold, at a table surrounded by amounts of primal beast encounters.
"they can't just appear can they?"
with a loud thump, she is face first on the table.

"I found a possible location for the shield of the sun, and evil cultists are in that location as well, I can wait for a while to help get things in order for the town to handle my absence, but I should go sooner rather than later. it might not actually be there in which case I'll be back quite soon"

La'Vassa walks in through a door to another room with what, to the technologically literate, appears to be a large cell phone in one hand as she leans against the door. "and what a lovely spider she is"

I need some silk threads for making strong cardstock, so it can be scrap silk. I also need some silk string for binding a weapon's grip, holding elastics, and otherwise being decorative. I also want to comission a silk sash to hold several spellcards. I have drawn up the basic pattern, not very good perhaps but it has all the lengths and measures, and you'd be able to decorate it as you see fit as long as it isn't a bunch of attached boubles."

Ellen can see a srange, sparkling tome on the bookshelves. It seems to writhe with activity, the skin of the book crawling with unseen tendrils.

"Alright, I'll take the commission. It'll run you roughly a hundred gold peices, that I'm sure people will pay out for your help with the Primal beast."

Morrigan frowns, "I don't suck that horribly at haggling. You could buy an entire outfit suitable even for those self-praising super vain noble scumbags. So, how about 20 gold for the pockets and 5 for the silk string?"

"Have you ever puchaced spider silk before? If you wanted something ordinary, then this isn't the place for it. But feel free to ask around the drow markets for spider silk. See if you can get better. Normal silk? Cheap. Easy to get. Spider silk? Vastly less so. And if I sell my silk like it was just ordinary silk, it would cheapen spider silk. But indeed, 100 is a little high by spider silk stnadards, as 100 could also make you a stretch of rope. Then again, rope has vastly less dexterity in it's preparations."

"Ultimately up to you. But hostile tones don't exactly get you far with me. But 20 gold is far from a reasonable offer, unless you intended me to use normal silk. If you wanted normal silk, I'd sell the whole thing for five gold, and be done with it in a few hours, tops."

"Oh, but you can also always pay me in curiosities. If you have anything instersting I might like. Doesn't have to be worth a lot, just has to catch my interest."

When Anna speaks of alternative payments La'Vassa chimes in and mentions "Ruby paid for her armor with scales from the monster, perhaps you have monster parts?"
