it was more of a "why aren't you on top of this" type of a talk, not actual yelling (but it's good you called me on my loose language). Those kind of talks are worrying as a contractor when you're trying to get hired on permanently (and to be fair, I have a pretty good chance of that happening).
It's worrying, no matter the occupation. No one wants a boss that isn't understanding. Worse, one that expects to freely push you around. That's why I'm pretty much always laid back with the rest of the staff at work. I don't do well being yelled at. I don't expect it works for others any better.
Sure, I get subpar performance, but at least I don't stress people in a life that's already stressful enough.
What always worried me on stuff like that is that sometimes you're being tested. 'How do they work with something dropped in their lap and an impossible deadline.' I'd hate to be in a line of work where that's common enough to require testing, though.
actually, ironically enough, my boss is one of the most laid back people. It's just that there was a miscommunication and no one told me that they expected me to pick up those projects.

Masters want slaves they can fully control, they find it hard to sleep at night thinking you may be making planes to over throw them. Hence "the war on terror" or as I like to call it the "Monark-fiction War" where you are turned from 'citizens' into 'Subjects'.
It's unstoppable now, Rome hated Kings yet they got them, they change changed the name. The USA is like that now, the banks and Corporations vet who gets to run for the kings job, they do after all control the curt as well. The 'Subjects' to this 'subjects' that's you. Then get to pick witch king other theirs gets to rule you.

Last time it was like that in the USA, the Brits where running the show, and there was a revaluation. There will not be another, a combination of conditioning, apathy, fear will keep the 'subjects' in-line wile they pay to live under the kings. It could change, its easy, you just get with every you know who wants change and you make it change. Turn off FOX, MBC, CNN the lot, meet and stop shipping in the big shops, start talking to every one around your. The guys and girls next door. I actually use graph paper for all my maps. It's a lot more intuitive than making maps on a computer. Of course, there's the issues of running out of space, and readability for others... but if others are trying to read my dungeon maps, it's probably better they can't read it :P

I use color pencils, so I can establish a gradient of elevation. :)

Your character cares about her long and prideful history. Skyscale has closed boxes with treasure inside. I doubt Korash cares about religion any more than Skyscale does. Skyscale thinks you have a very interesting story to tell... but to him, that's all it is. He finds it strange that a dragon would want to rule over everything... as he's a chaotic Dragon, he doesn't over much care about the established societies and rituals, and oral tradition of your people. If anything, he would find it odd that you have a form of ancestor worship, while thinking that religion is stupid.
That is... If he cared about religion.
Also... someone either didn't get the Buffy reference, hates Buffy, or had a terrible thanksgiving. My thoughts are thus: I am role-playing. I am posting roughly daily, more often when there are more things that interest Skyscale. History lessons, notoriously boring in real life, are going to be entirely lost on an adventurous Dragon like Skyscale. There are boxes. That are closed. And he can open them. Lectures = bad.

I'm excited, and I'd like to see more posts, and more interest, but, again. As people may have surmised, I am just using take 10 for most things in order to keep things moving along, with one exception (one that I find works really well in my home games, btw): on objects with a break dc, I assume that something with a strength higher than the break dc will automatically succeed at breaking it (because otherwise, break DCs should not be in the game; a DC 20 to break a door is not all that uncommon, but even a character with a 20 strength fails 75% of the time).
Korash can indeed break down the doors. Given his number of attacks, He can get 1 open every 2 rounds (after dealing with the hardness). It's just that they'll make a lot of noise (which like banging on any metal will). Skyscale made a lot of noise, but again, that makes sense when you're twisting metal.
And Isabela, I would like to point out that most people are posting at least twice a day, which is much better than a lot of pbp (where the minimum is 1/day). Also, please try and be respectful of others. There's no point in being insulting or disrespectful (both here and in real life).
I actually -hate- break DCs. Raging Barbarian can't take the door down? Just add the party's halfling sorcerer, and suddenly it's all good. :P
I want to apologise to you all, I was really really drunk, that post was not mean for Paizo, even so it was so wrong. I had had a really bad day at work, dealing with things not my fault. Then big argument with a mate of nothing and then worried a game I like very much, this one was slowing and may stop. Again I deeply apologise. This is why I don't drink often, I feel a deep seance of shame over my actions and I fully understand of you wish me to leave the game.

Alright, so. I'm gonna put on my serious-Sky face. Having grown up in a family full of drunks, and spending a dozen years dealing with people going absolutely crazy at the drop of a hat... promise me, you won't do that if your son is around. I'm cool with people drinking, but drink responsibly. <3
when I say I don't drink much I mean it, I hate smoke and smoking so hate bars. I have a class of wine with a meal when I go out for one once in a blue moon. I have a cabinet full of booze for guests that's been near untouched for mouths, and then it was a big family meal. But that night after fire fighting at work all day, a mate asking ME out to bar to help him talk over some of HIS life problems while just ignoring me the flipped when I told him he was making a mistake. Came home and wanted to time out with some play here and every game on here was empty and dead, kind of blow my top the wrong way. I think I did because I hate confrontations and this was a vent point with out a real time one. Still bad, still should not have done it. But it was one of these day.
:) I'm not worried about venting. I'm worried about making sure your kid is taken care of and safe. The last thing you want is for the kid to be like me... and grow up feeling alone because of a few stupid incidences.

I try to post often during the week. My weekends get crazy sometimes especially this past one. Through the week I keep this thread open and minimized and check it at least once an hour to try to keep up.
Don't worry about me. I am gonna be here at least until I no longer work at my current job (which considering they've started the paperwork to hire me, should mean a good while).
I do want to say that I'm enjoying things so far. I think you all have a good chemistry as a group. I look forward to seeing what you do when your characters actually find a window =D

She is looking for Psionics so scanning out side the box the moveing on fast, but most of all she wants her Psycrystal. Your going to have a realy hard job getting her to use ANY magic item
definitely makes sense. Interestingly enough, you have yet to encounter anything that is psionic in origin here.
