Another query.
I just got a boon which recharges when you complete adventures on hard mode.
** spoiler omitted **The adventure I got it for was 'hard mode': can I add an extra use straight away?
Aerondor has it correct. You received the boon after the completion of that scenario so you would not be able to use that scenario on the boon.

Do you know where that’s said? I’m looking for what little information is available on the trial itself.

Excuse the question, but what is "Hard Mode"?
A handful of PFS scenarios have an optional Hard Mode, in which enemies are stronger and challenges more difficult. The details are set out in the scenarios. All players at a table must agree to use Hard Mode, otherwise the scenario runs in the default normal mode.
There's normally no additional reward, just bragging rights. The boon mentioned above is an exception.

I actually can't find that anywhere so I guess it's just something I've seen or heard from other players discussing it over the years. If it's just a theory, it makes enough sense that I've always assumed it was true. After all, Cayden passed the test while drunk making me think his test was simply to find the exit so he turned around and walked out the front door, suddenly becoming a deity.

This might help!
The bottom of the page lists the specific book sources, if you're curious.
Oh it is a thing! "The trials in the Test of the Starstone are set specifically for each individual that takes the Test, depending on their fears, strengths and weaknesses. As a result, it is impossible to correctly predict what one will have to face"
Apparently this is from mythic realms.
P.S. Irori thinks y'all a bunch of cheaters

You can also watch them talk about the Test of the Starstone on one of the Pathfinder Friday Twitch episodes. I can't recall off the top of my head which one it is... But I think it's this one.

Thanks for the link. Somehow I'd missed that episode!

GM Hmm stands on the deck of her sailing ship, looking out to the wide horizon. There will be many adventures ahead, some Play-by-Post, and some new. At the last minute, she tosses her crown to Tyranius, who catches it expertly.
"Congratulations, Tyranius! You are going to be such an awesome Venture Captain!" Then she waves back to the rest of her region. "Thank you all for being the best region ever!"
With about thirty minutes to go before midnight November 1st UTC, I'm passing the crown. Love you all.

Catching the crown Tyranius slowly sets it on his head and offers a solemn salute to the circling sailing ship. "PRESENT, ARMS" He calls back as one by one the region follows suit, sending HMM out with a salute.

A lantern carrying man raises his arms into the air, both holding lanterns, "The queen departs in this game. The dragon takes the light. Part of the plan? Part of another game? Did we even know we were playing? Will the king like this ending or maybe the middle? The beginning is set as the pieces move forward."

"Thanks again, GM Hmm! Twas a right pleasure ta' meet ye a few years back. Ye saved the day for me and my party. I do believe we've all gone on to more adventures thanks to yer actions. Just say the word and I'll come break some skulls with ye when the Society has a mission for ye."

A lightly-armored halfling stands on a crate at the edge of the dock, rapier raised high in salute to the departing ship. The skinny half-orc in acid-stained robes next to him looks up from his book and his cruelly scarred face twists into a scowl as the vessel's sails catch the wind, but he gives the ship's captain a respectful nod.
Thank you for everything you've done to build this community, HMM! Welcome Tyranius!

My group just finished their gameday game! Can someone confirm the reporting process for it?
I believe we report this ourselves? Do we roll for boons? How do we report if we won a boon?
GM Crunch |

We do report it ourselves. This here link should do nicely. All players (including the GM) roll a d20; on a 19 or 20, you win a boon! If this is PFS or SFS, winners roll d3 to see which one they get (listed in order on the reporting sheet). You'll need to put in e-mail addresses for winners.

Thanks! I wasn't sure where to get that link from, but I was pretty sure we were doing that again like we have previously.
GM Crunch |
I got it in an e-mail from Tyranius to all Gameday GMs. Maybe you weren't on the list for some reason?

Brewslee manages to somehow catch himself without spilling a single drop from his mug as he waves it back and forth. He reaches down and tussles the hair of a green haired gnome passing by. "That'sh a good kitty." Brewslee obviously has no idead what he just pet but truly believes it to be some sort of cat in nature.
"I did hear shomething about a...a..." *hic* "...a Retrocon early-ish in the New Year." Seeing the barmaid pass by with a tray full of delicious looking brews he gets distracted and follows the smell like Wimpy following a hamburger.
We are in deed in the middle of discussing Retrocon during the winter after the holidays. We will likely set concrete dates and information just after Gameday has ended. Once we get it all locked in I'll make sure to blast out all of the information to each of the lodges.

***Announcement***
I have received a $10 Convention Voucher either during TPKon or Gameday VIII and receive the following message during payment processing. What does this mean and what can I do about it?
That code is not recognized or is not valid for this order
After contacting Customer Service it sounds as if the website was having trouble processing the vouchers recently and all of them had to be deactivated. This does not mean that you are out of luck. If you received a voucher and it is not working please contact the wonderfully helpful Paizo customer service department @ 425-250-0800 and they will assist you in redeeming your voucher.
If anyone needs additional help or has any additional inquiries please don't be afraid to shoot out a PM to the VO team and we will help where we can. I will send this out to all of the lodges to try and get the word out to everyone that received a voucher.
Apologies for the inconvenience,
-Tyranius

If it’s Moment of Glory, it does not grant you full mythic status. You get a couple specific benefits.
Grandmaster TOZ |
You get the auto-stabilization and the one time surge ability. If you got anything else, the text would be redundant as you could spend mythic points to surge more.
I'm Hiding In Your Closet |
Are there any Tier 9-11 adventures in which cold and/or nonlethal damage are among the more serious dangers (like an adventure where you have to fight a white dragon/Thuggee-style assassins/Irriseni Witches, survive exploring the Paraelemental Plane of Ice/a really tall mountain/a deep-sea trench, something like that)?
Asking for...reasons.

Check the adventure paths. There might be a section from Reign of Winter or Jade Regent that matches up level-wise. I’m trying to avoid Reign of Winter spoilers myself.
