This info is for those who are not to familiar with the dragonlance setting.

At this time, there is a large distrust between elves and dwarves. Both races have a geat dislike to each other. In fact, elves dislike all races. Dwarves like humans. And everyone dislike gully dwarves.

About 20% to be honest. I read the novel's but that's about it. If you have links to resources I can do more reading up on it.


Just as a note to all of you, Darian goes by the name Darian Wiston. He only recently learned that his true surname may be Brightblade, so until he is able to affirm this, he will go by such.

Aaron, it is possible that he has features which are uncannily similar to Angriff and Sturm, which may be a reason to gain specific interest in him.

Edit Just to clarify, he has never told anyone that Brightblade is his last name.

I gotta say I am struggling with the gully dwarf 'accent' a bit. I've been tossing in some cockney, creole, newfie, redneck and halfwit lol. I'm working on it. I promise I will get it worked out eventually. The problem is the only model I have to work from is Bupu. I'm working on it. I promise I will get it down.

Roger updated my backstory. And read up the 4 ages events to be familiarise. Think I got that the main geist of it

Pretty sure a gully dwarf wouldn't ride a horse. I'm not even sure he would ride in a wagon without some coercion. So Bardy runs? We have200 miles to cover in12 days. That's under 17 miles per day. Even on foot that is doable. Bardy should be able to do 30 miles per day. .. more if he casts heals to remove fatigue.

Yeah, but its more fun to use the accent. I will get it ironed out eventually. I might just make him sound kind of like a goofy leprechaun ... lol we will see.

a note about initiative for my campaigns.

although i have you all roll initiative, aside from storykeeping, and an easy way for me to see who has gone and who hasnt, the number not that important, for use within a pbp setting.

so here is the rule:
you, the pc party, have all your actions first. I, the dm, will wait till everyone has posted and then will post my actions.

this makes it easier for everyone because then you arent waiting on one person to do something before going. A case in point would be our current init order. The goblins are in the middle. Instead of waiting for me to post, and then the other 4 party members going, all 6 members go, and then i will go.

Make sense?
