That's rough. As you always say, life comes first. It has been an epic journey over the years, but nothing lasts forever. Thank you for running this unique game for so long.

Fully understand things getting hectic and overwhelming. And real life aways take priority. I've been a part of your delightful little reality for a few years now and there have been a few pauses. Some on your end and a few on my end. I'm happy to check back in around the end of the year and see how things are going to see if you are in a better place. Best of luck regardless. And thank you for your patience and for your story no matter how it ends

In particular, I hope I didn't just leave the actual void in the divinity for some random wondering Os'ha to become new Dream Crow
I wouldn't mind if Aisling becomes, but he is more of a realist than a dreamer - proselytizing is fine, but sylphs are alchemist, inventors, artificers...innovation more than illusion

(5, 9), (4, 10), and 12 on saves...terrible luck in critical moment
I can't wait for resolution of this...even if badly burned damaged
Oh, and feel free to adjust Prince Raven devotion II and III since they are not online yet and this might be just the change event for that :D
Rather than just "giving" away powers.

Ah, I have a busy weekend and a lot of stuff happens. :D

Tried posting and the website went down for maintenance. I'll try again after work. My phone hates the formating and will helpfully autocorrect in awful ways so I don't try that any more
Calling the bird was fantastic!

I appreciate your patience, everyone. The side job is rolling on nicely now, and I'm starting what feels like a successful week with teaching, as well. I'm still 100% sure that putting this campaign on hold is the right decision.
---> Write yourself one final scene (or pass it back to me, if anyone isn't sure what to write)
----> I'll write a final post(s) over the weekend.
-----> I won't the the campaign inactive yet; I want to check in right around New Year's and see how we are all doing.

Glad things are smoothing out a bit for you :)
A death was mentioned a while ago, is that still part of the price to help Krz? And if so does Qizz have to remain a spiritualist? unsure if I would want to change that or not, not the most powerful of classes. More of a fluff than crunch class. And my inclination would be a druid but thats a full caster. mostly rambling while thinking. Ill get a post up by this weekend. Wanted a bit of a think and was curious I Kallik was going of the big sleep or not. I think I she might be my longest run character.

I'm fine with you switching to druid. I think that Qizz relationship with Kallik will depend on what comes after (if/when we pick the campaign up again)
I think it all fits narratively if Kallik "dies" with Krz, and you would both return to Heap. I think that as we finish this chapter, Qizz returning to Heap basically as a master of death rather than an apprentice of Learningto, you could find a way to 'become' a druid (so for now, you can hint at some changes)
I really want you to make the decision on what happens to Kallik :) But those are my thoughts.

Congratulations on the travel and the anniversary!

Thanks again for your patience. I wouldn't leave y'all hanging.
It's been uh, three weeks? of teaching, piano lessons, and all the assorted stuff that comes with life with kiddos. I've been pouring my heart into the D&D Club that I host on Thursdays, where I DM for ~7 students. I went with Russian Gothic Horror as our theme. This campaign is important too, but urgent things came first, and wow what a month.
Anyway, I will try my best to finish tonight.

Hi All,
So this has been as exhausting and horrible as I thought it would be. I've had to give up D&D, video games, guitar playing, and most of my recreational reading, just so I can spend time with my kids on the rare occasions I have 'free time'.
This won't be going away. We still have debts and medical bills to pay with our pathetic salaries, on top of food and clothing for two growing kids.
This is likely a permanent goodbye. At best, this is a 5-10 year goal of finally becoming debt free, at which point all these story threads will be hopelessly lost.
I truly appreciate you as players, and everything you've brought to the table throughout the years. I could not have created all of this without you.

Thank you for the epic world. If/when you get back feel free to contact me.
Good luck!
P.S: I still think moving to countries with universal healthcare where you cannot go bankrupt by random medical emergency is a good plan for 5-10y period

Hopefully the situation doesn't remain as horrible as it has been. Best of luck to you and yours!

Good luck with everything, and thanks for the game!

That's really rough. It's been a good long ride, but nothing lasts forever.
I hope and pray your situation improves. "Nothing lasts forever" applies to the bad as well as the good.

I feel you on that long term goal. As always this has been one of my favorite games and feel free to reach back out if you want to start anything back up. Sorry for the delay in responding, job hunting has taken up most of my time recently. I wish you the best and hope this ease up. Enjoy the little things you can still participate in. Good game and good luck :)
