Not at all...the requirement for everyone to post for things to move along is only really important during combat...the only thing Dru is holding up is opening up the scroll tube...which doesn't have any huge impact on you guys proceeding

If anyone is interested, I am considering running a quick Occult Adventures Playtest game... I am going to offer it in all of the games I am currently GM'ing and, if I can get a group of 4 together, run something short for fun... And then, if we feedback on the playtest forums, we can all say we contributed to next year's big Rulebook :)

I have two people interested so far and will run a game if we can get to four. One person is interested in playing a Kineticist whilst the other is undecided…I think I am aiming at a Level 8 game – it won’t be a huge game, several encounters and some exploration so no need to get totally invested in a character’s backstory, etc – this one is definitely just a bit of fun!!!


Actions? So far Luther has suggested burning the webs but no response from anyone?

Hrm I seem to notice not doing all that much damage when I do a combined crit with the dice roller, probably gonna start just rolling for the extra crit damage instead of combined, has anyone else noticed a difference between the two?

This is of course if you're okay with it Zed, or do you have a preference you rather us use?

I'm back. Wish I could say that vacation was enjoyable, but it was a bit stressful. Without going into too much detail, it seems that my brother-in-law screwed up and landed himself in jail. Exactly what he did will remain private, but it was severe enough that the end result will be a divorce. In addition, I visited my grandmother's old house (in which I spent many happy years), only to find that the current owners have completely gutted it and changed everything. The garage where I whiled away many an hour in my "secret" fort is falling in. The inside of the house is completely changed, with walls removed, rooms rearranged, etc. Even the town has changed so much as to be nearly unrecognizable (this was my first visit in 25 years). Very disheartening.

Same here...my 'little' town has almost tripled in size since I was there...and our old house is gone...


That sounds horrible...I hope things resolve themselves, if not favourably at least amicably with your brother in law...and I think we can all relate to the 'going back' experience...sometimes it's the place that's changed, sometimes it's you that's changed... But the one thing you can guarantee... It will never be the same... Some places are better to keep as treasured memories...

This is the perfect time to consolidate our winnings and rest in our favorite sanctuary up high. Dru will have two magic missiles per salvo, Symon will have 2d6 sneak damage, and I will probably have some bear's strength for Dezco and Conner.

Dru can throw around her new sleep if needed for crowd control. And I will have to make sure I keep the useful command ready to go.

I thought if Symon can jury rig a quick way to bypass the lock, we are golden to come back at any time. We may be able to impersonate these two guards when we return.

Every 5 levels thereafter, the deep walker gains an additional +3 on each of those checks while underground (to a maximum of +11 at 18th level).
This ability replaces favored terrain.
Which is nice :3

Thought about that but I'm going for the Sky Seeker PC and that gives me Tower Shield and Heavy Armor proficiency, still might take Power Attack atm and switch it later though, hmmm...

Trust me -- even with war axe + tower shield at level 7 ranger 1 sky seeker you will want power attack!!!
