This fight was going on for quite some time. They had to bring it down before more of them perish to its assault

Five beams of light shoot from 5 celestials.

range touch @+3: 5d20 ⇒ (11, 14, 4, 13, 14) = 56

Four are accurate and hit the dragon.

vs touch ac 14 bypassing dr: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 1) = 16


This time Drusellia's arcane bolts pierce the craggy flesh of the dragon... it shakes and shudders, swatting Symon's arrow from the air before futilely trying to bat Kaspar away. Eldar, his feet planted right at the edge of the magma pool, slams hard into the dragon - twice.

The beast's breathing is ragged now and its movements sluggish... yet, ominously, there are flares of red-hot flame erupting from its nostrils... and then, Luther's archons bathe the creature in holy light. The dragon, its wings slowing, curls around on itself and - almost letting gravity take it - dives headlong into the magma pool...

GM Only:
Vrainheis = 155 damage. Vrainheis can use his Breath Weapon next round

Luther looks around.
"If it is one thing we learned, don't fight the same thing over and over. Is it dead?"

Luther's archons look for an evil creature to fight and quickly scout the area.


Beneath the rippling lava pool, there is no sign of the dragon returning... but no evidence that it is dead.

Can Kaspar enter the lava as an incorporeal being without taking damage? If he can, then I will send him down to see what happened to the beast.

I don't think so... he is immune to physical / non-magical attacks but the lava isn't an attack per se.

if we have elemental resistance spells. I can go down? Still large. And i have a lot of HP. So even a minute if 10 fire resist can help
