If that doesn't work, then neither does Invisibility (it has no special clause that makes them unaware of you).

But we can at least get through level 10. Level 10 is a key level, I think. We may even be able to get at least partway through a 15th level test.

Normally I would say the same save like 90% of my stuff dont go off until 12th or 16th level so I need to get there to see them. It's fine though, I just want to actually get to use the abilities, otherwise they become wasted space.

I haven't looked at it yet. Note: They updated teh wrong Playtest document, the Occult Adventures Playtest contains the updated Vigilante Playtest for some reason.

Yeah I have the right one, they made Armor Skin give you full movespeed eventually, at 8th for medium, and 16th for heavy. That's the only change. THE ONLY CHANGE.

Still bad fort instead of reflex.
Still D8.
Still bad To-Hit.
Still no Damage Amp.

Nothing on my side changed save for damage. I made my opinion on the main Round 2 thread. The Bolt got subtly/overtly nerfed.

Can't you Rapid Shot with it now along with TWF? Shouldn't that with arcane striking end up being a slight boost to damage?

Hidden Strike's full damage got buffed to d8s, and Up Close and Personal does d4 strike damage even if you miss the Acrobatics check.

Am happy.

Basic math shoots you down there ESPECIALLY if the creature has any sort of resistance. You dont have to look hard at the difference between using say, 3 attacks at 10 for 3d6+30 vs 6 attacks at -4 for 6d6+30. Every +1 to hit is +2 to damage roughly. And level 10 actually helped out the new one because up till that point you are doing 6 less damage and ALL of them have to hit.

For anyone who is wondering, this was a Red Jester, an undead creature that throws the Deck of Many Things at people.

I substituted the Harrow Deck of Many Things just because it had more options.

All effects of this will disappear by the start of the next playtest (if there's still time?) so you may as well use that Wish to smite the Ghast or something Cube.

Despite the outcomes, this could have just as easily gone the other way, with lovely effects like "The character's body disintegrates. All that remains are his items and a glowing gem containing his soul. This gem is worth an amount of gp equal to 2,500 × the character's level. A resurrection or stronger spell is required to restore the character, and doing so destroys the gem."

Or "The character cannot gain another level in whichever class he currently has the most levels. This effect can be circumvented if the character is killed and returned to life, but the next time he is restored to life he is affected as if by the spell reincarnate, regardless of what spell was cast."

Or "Once per day, the character can communicate as per the spell speak with plants and have a plant truthfully answer any single question. Using this ability upsets the surrounding flora, however, causing 1d4+2 shambling mounds with the advanced template to erupt from the earth and attack the character, regardless of the surrounding terrain."

That last one essentially means you'd have to fight 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 more of those things you fought in the sewers.

Tell you what, I'll let you use the Wish to whip up a new plot hook for round 3 if you want.

The Wish can take you anywhere in time and space by its nature, so we go where you wanna go. Or "accidentally" call in a creature you want to fight (Woo Balor Lord woo) and I'll build the 15th level around that. Something along those lines.

You could erase an important historical figure from time and we can place you in the dystopian present or something.
