Children who do not like it shall be flogged with a rope of black licorice, the candy so bitter it hurts. (but then again I was a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas when I was a kid, that one didn't win me many friends, so perhaps his response is the more normal one...agreed, the flogging shall be downgraded to red licorice!)
Lol. Well, to be fair, he's in that phase right now where her think is romance is gross. :)
And no licorice floggings, I'm allergic to that crap. Which is sad because I loved black licorice. Well really anything anise flavored. But can't has because it's made with wheat flour. :(

I love that clip. :)

Divine Scion increase spellcasting, not the class feature that that grants you thouse spells or doubles your caster level.
See I'd rule out that combo for a different reason. It says as if gaining a level in a divine spell casting class. My interpretation is that if you've already maxed out the leveled of the class you can't continue to add spells as if adding levels because there are no more levels to add,

There's a reason that makes sense.
Of course, as a dm, I'd rule it out because "no".
With something like this that's all you really need.

Most people don't because it's a hassle, and they wouldn't have a reason to use it
The next most significant chunk I can think about don't because they don't want to be on se government list
Your statement implies your reason is different, care to elucidate?
PS @DB3: curse you for getting me hooked on a new webcomic
also thank you because it's a really good one, if a bit heavy on useage of puns and alliteration
So curse you and thank you.

Kvothe Corvus (Wizard (Admixture) 5/Arcanist (Eldritch Font) 1)
STR: 7
DEX: 16
CON: 10
INT: 20
WIS: 10
CHA: 13 (+1 from Level 4)
Traits: Gifted Adept (Shocking Grasp), Magical Lineage (Shocking Grasp)
Feats: Spell Focus: Evocation (First Level PFS Bonus); Spell Specialization: Shocking Grasp; Reach Spell (Human Bonus Feat); Intensify Spell; Split Slot; Empower Spell (Wizard Fifth Level Bonus Feat)
Equipment: Wand of Mage Armor, Wand of Cure Light Wounds, Deep Red Sphere Ioun Stone
Class Abilities: Thrush Familiar, Spells, Intense Spells +2, Versatile Evocation 8/day; Exploits (Potent Magic)
Shocking Graps per Day: 22 (6 of which are empowered, and one is maximized)
The Build in Action: The first two levels are rough, as although you can deal damage at a range through Reach Spell (at +0 spell slot due to Magical Lineage), you won't hit often. However, at third level, when your thrush familiar can deliver it for you, things get much easier. Make sure to invest a rank in Acrobatics so that your Thrush can avoid AoOs. (That Armor Stick helps with this, too.) Since it is Diminutive, it gets +4 to attack... +3 through its Dex... +2 through your BaB... and +2 through charging, for a total of +11 touch.
At fifth level things start getting fun, because now you can use your second level spell slots (dat overpowered Magical Lineage) to cast empowered versions of these things, as well as being able to split one of your third level slots for THREE MORE shocking grasps!
At sixth level, you gain five more shocking grasps... plus an exploit. Preferably Metamagic Knowledge to get... you guessed it, Maximize! So now, all of your slots are filled with Shocking Grasps (9d6+2, or 10d6+2 if you use one of your reservoir points) to deal insane amounts of any of the common elemental types...
Since I forget if wizard discoveries are allowed in PFS, if they aren't just replace Split Slot with Piercing Spell.
*Bows* What do you think? Is there anything in that build that breaks rules?

Mel: is at a loss... this telepathic talking she cannot hear so she does not know what is going on. She is ready to hear some plans but nobody will tell her anything...yet (Lyn sent a PM)
Lang: getting situated at the Temple...that story arc is dying a slow death.
Kim: sitting in the classroom wondering what to do.

I'm going to just respond here because the answer is actually quite simple. Just have Mel say stuff in character. Things like I don't know what you want me to do or that thing you just said about being immune to artron energy can't be right or I want to help but I don't understand what's going on. Or all of the above. If this is how your character feels than say so in character. It's okay. It won't break anything.

how does Ephebe know about mel being a Timelord?
cool...I think timelords can sort of do that..but Mel cannot, she will have to unlock all of her abilities first. and I don't think it will be as powerful as Ephebe's
I am baseing this off of some of the most recent episodes. but if you want to keep it out of this game, that is fine, since I never used any power like that.

Keep in mind that I am still several seasons back and moving through the series very slowly due to watching it with someone who has little free time. I've no idea what's been going on in recent episodes. I haven't even got as far as the actor before the current actor....

So I had an idea for a new (n)PC.
No stat block, I can't really see him needing one.
Steven (aka "crazy plant guy" to most people who know anything about him.)
Spends most of his time in his greenhouse-like room, nurturing his own private garden. Eventually, it grew to need so much room size the school put him in a folded-space room, allowing it to be quite big without taking up much space, and in return, the school makes a profit off of some of the products of the plants he's made.
He practices arcane magic, to most people's surprise. His lack of true reverence for nature prevents him from being a Druid.
He creates magically modified plants, and dispute being quite magically potent, he rarely has any arcane energy- he usually takes it out of himself to make magical essence for his plants, so they can grow properly. He's not really aware that being able to rip out your own arcane energy and give it a semi-tangible form may have other uses, due to his single-minded devotion to what he does.
He's created several plants, such as bushes that grow iron, trees that grow fruits filled with alchemist's fire, a rather unstable sugar cane that randomly polymorhpes those who eat it (he's still working on that one...), a goodberry bush, a null-magic aloe Vera plant, casting dispel magic on those who chew one of it's leaves (CL 6), and many more similar things.
He often refers to the plant's as his "friends", and is very protective of them, having warded his room and his plants against fire and cold.
He could really help the world if he took the time to perfect his plants so they don't rely on his energy, but he's rather fanatic, and once he gets one of his plants doing what he wanted, thinks not of making them for others.

It wouldn't hurt to give him just one class. He could be attacked by something unplanned. Besides, what you're describing is literally exactly what the alchemist does to make extracts.
