And, I'm fairly certain that the elementary scene has wrapped up pretty well, so I'm going to go ahead and post what Jacob does/will do during class.

Kitty was good at first, working hard at cleaning up, but it was a big mess, and she didn't think a little help would hurt...which somehow turned into a lot of help...but a very clean house for the Dacamaras.

I really couldn't resist...hopefully Mrs. Dacamara doesn't mind having her bathroom scrubbed by cockroaches. ;P

This was the post that was intended to speed things up to get Kitty and Michael story moving again by quickly wrapping up the clean up. Are they still going to visit her family?

Got my first taste of MtG today.
I bought into one of those games where you get booster packs and pass them around.
Managed to put together an entirely white deck. It seems to be good in team match games.

Ah yes, the plant guy. Right. Apologies, I lost track of that one in the discussion. So reading through that character proposal I find that I am a bit confused about a couple of things. First of all, even as an npc, I'm not sure what purpose this guy serves. He sounds really self absorbed and that doesn't make for good role play. Aside from botany class with Rakki and Tami and whoever else, I'm not even sure what interactions he might have at the school. Which brings me to the second thing, which is what is he even getting from being at the school aside from greenhouse space. A chance to intern with Adsila? Access to rare plant species? Why is he here?

Ah. Right.

I'll just skip it, then. I'm not dedicated to him, and honestly, I usually fail to make quality resons anyway.

Foul, the two most common ways to play Magic in teams are two headed giant and Emperer.

TWG is just like playing one on one, save that you have 30(or more) life vs 20 and you can look at your partner's hand to plan out what to play.

Emperer is much different and kinda complicated so check this link out if ya want: Emperor

For five person games, my group came up with Enemy of My Enemy. Basically, sit in a five-pointed star pattern. The people next to you(left and right) can't directly target you, but the others can. If you beat them, you win.

This year, I tried something new.

I am the last house on a dead end, and up a hill to boot. Thus, nobody ever really comes trick or treating.

So, I decided I would do what I called reverse trick or treating. I bought several bags of candy, and went around my neighborhood giving candy to all the kids in the streets.

It was a massive success, as I went through 8 bags of candy!

Hey Ice, not sure what your plans are long term for Adon, as I recall talk some time ago about him being killed off, but if you plan on keeping why not turn him into a full on anti-caster type?

There's a fair amount of feats that you could either re-train or just work on learning that would make him a nightmare for casters.

Not to mention a couple of PrCs from 3.x that perhaps Lyn would allow with some conversation work.

What is NaNo?

Just curious... I'm an aspiring writer, just have a 10 ft. by 10 ft. writer's block.

NaNoWriMo is a challenge to write 50k words of a novel in 30 days. It's not too late to join this year if you want, though you would definitely have to scramble to make up word count. I'm working with my own personal mini goal of 2000 words a day since that will get me to the goal with a few days to spare in case my word count is off and I need to scramble to add more words. The hardest part is getting the internal editor to shut the hell up long enough to get the words on the page and just leave them there no matter how crappy they seem. It doesn't have to be good. It just has to be word vomit.

Currently at 6018 words.
Need to get to 8000 words by the end of the day. That will also put me at the end of chapter two. Based on my outline I need at least 4000 words per chapter or I will finish the story before I hit my 50k goal.

Apologies to those who had no idea what I was talking about in my last post. I was attempting very badly to explain why I was not posting much to the game. This 2000 words a day thing is kicking my butt,

So I'm working on my NaNo novel and I had a scene where the main character is trying to walk across a busy town square and is having trouble because there was a crowd around a cabbage merchant yelling at some kids for knocking his cart over....yes, that's right, I put cabbage guy into the story. I think I broke my brain. >.<
