The Avalon Chronicles
Game Master
lynora
This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)
If I add Compound Y with Compound F... I get barkskin! Amazing!
:D

Which would be next?
History of Agartha with Relkav, or Advanced Mechanics with Aananda?
Male Human Psion (Shaper) 14 (D6)
Hey, you mean randomly picking "Intro to Agartha" means I won't be in a class with anyone else 2nd period? :)
Female awww, but that would be telling unknown

History of Agartha. Advanced Mechanics is an afternoon class.
Warforged Engineer Alchemist 16/Armiger 16 Champion of Creation
Like I said a few pages back, we don't usually role-play the classes a lot. Gym being an exception because it's fun! ;)
If you want something to happen during a class period, go right ahead. That's how Michael made Saffire after all.
Female awww, but that would be telling unknown
Gustav Stonecutter wrote: Hey, you mean randomly picking "Intro to Agartha" means I won't be in a class with anyone else 2nd period? :)
Look, you have a classmate. :)
history of Agartha and Intro to Agartha is the same class....have fun with that. Cause you know, Professor Relkav really loves new students to tort-I mean, teach. :P
Female awww, but that would be telling unknown
Yeah, we mostly hand wave actual classes, but sometimes there will be something that merits more attention. Don't worry too much about the details. :)
Warforged Engineer Alchemist 16/Armiger 16 Champion of Creation
So, now I get to meet both Gustav and Professor Relkav? at the same time? Awesome.
Something is going to get blown up, shot, and pummeled. I just know it.
Warforged Engineer Alchemist 16/Armiger 16 Champion of Creation
Don't jump to conclusions.
Even if those conclusions have a strong possibility of being correct.
I know someone is going to get detention and get glared at.
I'm not even going to ask for bets against that, Mrdarknlight.
Male Quasit (Demon) Gestalt Vitalist/Psion(Telepath) 16
Come on, Professor Relkav isn't THAT detention happy.

Switched so I could have Basic PE with Phaez xD
Female Half-Elf Sorcerer6/Dragon Disciple 9
Okay Phaez, a little creeped out.
Sis, just settle on whether you're taking Blackscale as your name or not already!
Sheesh, I'm calling the kids Sunscales anyway.

Brat. Easy for you to say. You don't have to think about these things. :P

Oh my...54 posts...
Umm. You can take my name if you want, but it's not a requirement, of course. As far as the hatch...err children's names, I'm of the mind to let them name themselves like I did...or will they not be able to?
Uncles reserve the right to have silly nicknames for their nieces and nephews...
Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7
Ummm....honey, do you remember that conversation we had about babies? Well, in addition to not being completely in control of their bodily functions, they also can't do things like talk....so, you know, we'll have to pick out names for them. I don't want them to end up having to go by 'hey, you' for the first few years of their life. :)
Also, the name thing...it's kinda a big decision. I get to take at least one day to think it over. I mean, Fieri didn't, but I think she might have changed her mind now and will likely change her name pretty quickly....
Male Kobold (Adult Black dragon) Gestalt Sorceror/Oracle Necromancer; Champion of Death
Oh, right...no genetic memory...
Cool! I'm actually glad we get to name them. Less syllables for people to trip over!
No rush on the name thing. I can see her changing it too. Sucks that it turned out like that...
Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7
Yeah, poor girl. Well, she did say her family was awful. Guess she wasn't exaggerating.
And yes, less syllables to trip over. Cause draconic names have this tendency to be excessively long. :)
Female Half-Elf Sorcerer6/Dragon Disciple 9
Aegythrax is the just the short name. His full name is Aegythraxomonouxitailaetarexia.
Well, that's just overdoing it. Now it sounds like an exotic disease. Some unique form of scale rot or some such. Not really striking terror with that one. ;P
Female Half-Elf Sorcerer6/Dragon Disciple 9
Some hyperbole included ;)
Female Kobold
Not to parade on people's rain, but Vakkler doesn't teach History of Agartha. He teaches Military History of Agartha. :P
Can Enre take Military History of Agartha? The only classes I remember of Enre's are Advanced PE and one that taught about races.

"Wonderful! I'll just need you to fill out these forms releasing the school from any liability in cases of injury or death....we've only ever had the one death and they were able to be raised right away, so you shouldn't worry about that too much."
"Alright, well, you'll need History of Agartha with Professor Relkav. It will help you catch up on what you missed while you were stuck in the lab."
"And Advanced Mechanics. I teach that class as well, though honestly it's mostly independent study."
"Is there anything else you're interested in learning about? You have room in your schedule for two or three more classes."
This is where the confusion on my part occurred, then, I guess.

We humor him. Technically speaking it's History of Agartha....and he really likes to focus on the military aspect. (Have you ever known a history teacher that didn't?) ;P
Warforged Engineer Alchemist 16/Armiger 16 Champion of Creation
Now that I think of it, I haven't. I guess that's because hisory teachers are often short and violent? :P

Every history class I've ever had has pretty much boiled down to a history of warfare. That includes high school and college.
They taught it just complained about it the whole time.

Mrdarknlight wrote: They taught it just complained about it the whole time. Well I suppose that's an improvement (?) on the US History teachers (yes, that's supposed to be plural) I had who thought that showing us endless civil war movies constituted teaching US History. I honest to god secretly started reading my textbook just to have something to do other than pay attention to increasingly implausible dramas. And I never, never, never want to see another movie about the civil war as long as I live.

You were saying? ;p *sigh* I meant the whole having to decide whether or not to change your last name genius, not what you plan on naming your kids. They're nice names though, brat. ;P
And just why is it I don't have to think about changing my last name?
Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7
Cause unless he has one that I didn't know about, to the best of my knowledge your mate doesn't have a last name.
I was wondering if you remembered that.
Imagefemale weredragon (amethyst) gestalt Soulknife17/oracle10/divine gunslinger7
Yeah,, I figured you were trying to trick me into saying something stupid. :P
Like two commas side-by-side? :P

...
Well, as stupid things go, that's not as bad as it could be.

And remember - stay in school kids!
(And please ignore whether or not it's done any real good for my kids. Nothing to see here, move along.....) ;P

I was planning on playing Vai alot darker, more paranoid than she actually is. Once we started playing though... I found I liked her too much to be that vicious to her... if that makes sense.

Darkness and hope in one package - always a good combination for compelling storytelling, neh? :)
