with most mind flayers you can't tell the gender so.......

I was planning on bringing in a mind flayer teacher, have it based losely on a character I made once, he was pretty cool, he would have the class arcanist

this, this is creepy, but that's not how Mind Flayers are born, the only way to have a 'half' mind flayer is if the other half lays eggs, or you are using wierd and powerful magic to expirement, mind flayers by and large are made in a large pool of green goop, they start out as tadpols that can be added to eggs and kept in the liquid or simply left in the pool where they will eventually grow into illitheds or ulatherids (anywhere from 1 in 12 to 1 in 20 to one in 100) or on super rare occasions Royal illithids, as in 1 per 1000 at least, each step taking more time to grow into full form and each having more and longer face tentacles
example I once played a half moon dragon ulatherid, that can happen because you can take one of those tadpolls and put it in the egg

however Illithids do love to expirement and love perfecting their own bloodlines either by using magic to directly change themselves or by crossbreading (though how that last bit of them thinking themselves superior to everyone else I don't know)
Demons (or was it devils, whichever the lawful ones are) also like expirementing and usually think much the same things, hmmmm.....

I know we got a lot of demons in school, but Kam hides it, Amada is too I think, and Phaeze mostly seems to stay out of view.

Amada hides most of her demonic features which is pretty easy as a Succubus. Asch makes no pains to hide his vampiric nature though...ask Dacamara.

There are also several tieflings at the school and some of them have pretty obvious demonic features. Can be hard to tell the difference sometimes.

to be fair, so far as I know there aren't any mind flayers yet... emphasis on the yet.
I like playing strange races. It can be a lot of fun. I can't tell you how many times my gms would say "you want to play a WHAT?!"
I have nothing against strange races....I just need some time to get through all the requests. :)

as far as multiple characters -- for me I am content with Lang and his pet/companion no second one for me at least for quite a while
there is one left... then she meets both of the others at once... so it shouldnt take very long...

what lyn didnt know: Haures's Iron Maided wouldve dissappeared if ms. Jones hadnt refused. and he wouldve bowed Saying "You do care, to the point where you put yourself at risk to save him. I, Haures the Dreaming Duke will assist you." or something along those lines. =) things not going how they are supposed to is what makes this game awesome!
