The music slowly dies away as Fei is beginning to perform the last of his katas. Vai quietly places the harp on the grass and quietly stands. Delicately she picks her way so to where Fei will finish - it was the same every morning, and Vai knew the movements well. She stands to face him, smiling. Fei's last bow to the sun also includes Vai, who for one transcendental moment she seems to be a being of pure light and radiance. The moment passes, and Vai leans forward slowly, and lightly, tentatively, kisses Fei's cheek.
...Or you can drop the bomb today and leave me to deal with all of the collateral damage. Argh.....well played. ;P
Now to calculate minimum safe distance... (o_O)

Also, in case it wasn't clear Dalesman, I finished my post. Giving Fei a chance to react (not explode fingers crossed) before we wrap up this little scene.
Also... I just realized that if Fei is on the westward green... the sun rises in the west?
Edit: Gack! Ninja'd! Yes, bomb indeed. Hopefully not literally.
Just a note: my work posting schedule hasn't been thrown off, just no internet at the new place, and posting long posts from my phone is... bothersome. I can still post in the morning/early afternoons on weekdays.

as far as I can tell, those people went early, I had my character get up at a set (and stated) time, and then exercise for a set (also stated_ additional time, at the point where he was at Raelle's door he had over an hour and a half, she took a few minutes getting dressed and we are currently in the cafeteria with almost an hour left to go, now some people may have gotten up at different times and may not be synced, or just they may have decided to arrive early time, (like location) is fairly nebulous when we're not in round format here

Roger that.
And no it doesn't - I just didn't catch what I typed. And that's what I get for trying to post on the weekend when I don't have time to proofread. Mea culpa.... :(
Either that, or there's a nice rise on the western green that catches the first light of dawn quite swimmingly. Yeah, that's the ticket..... (^-^)

It's entirely possible that the sun would rise in the west: not all planets rotate the same way (though generally all planets in the same system rotate the same way). I don't think there would be any undue complications for it, but it's not a big deal.
SCIENCE!
| GM Fireclaw |
hah Ninja'd you
Btw... North South East and West do not correspond the same in all planets.... or even in cultures....
Very true. No arguement from me :)
I think we try to keep as close as possible to (english) earth standards just to make sure it's easy for everyone to be on the same page.| GM Fireclaw |
IK but I just had to point it out
*brohoof*

It's also possible that things are oriented differently now than they were when the planet was inside out. For all we know the western green faces east now....but that breaks my head more than having the planet's rotation go a different direction so the sun rises in the west. :)
| lynora |
No worries thus far about being late to the orientation, unless you tell me you're planning on it. Not everyone is exactly in sync timewise at the moment, and that's okay as long as it's all generally the same. The orientation doesn't begin until I start typing it. :)
Now to work on getting caught up so that can happen.

apodyopsis
the act of mentally undressing someone
... I'm going to want an explanation of what you're talking about... how is that psychic... unless you mean that literally in which case you 'mentally' (using telekinesis and whatnot) undress them... or there's an inside joke that I am not privy to.

ah, but oldest male, I don't really know how adding in ephebe to the mix works, nor how adding dragons to the mix but as the oldest of three, I speek from a relative position of experience, granted the middle one is pure evil and the youngest is six.... it is entirely possible that I learned more from TV than my actual life... I forgot what my point was....
I do that a lot...
half dragon barbie... who makes those

Well, yeah, now.....actually I'm the only male child now...*sniff* I feel so lonely. ;P

I'm kinda thinking about having Dom show up late to orientation, but then again the fact that the school's papers that were sent out kinda makes me think about having him show just before.
He's never late he arrives when the music arrives.

Common is as common as common can get. I have a feeling you shouldn't worry too much about languages here, unless it's a part of your character that you want them to not really understand or be understood. Otherwise, people tend to want their characters to be able to communicate, y'know?

I was all excited when I just checked the new posts for this morn, and saw 17 new posts from when I went bed.
Turns out it was pretty much two people going back and forth. Made me incredibly sad.

Look on the bright side. At least it wasn't 17 posts of the GM talking to herself...Again. :P

BTW: Liquid Blade
Price 40 gp; Weight 2 lbs.
DESCRIPTION
You can empty the contents of this palm-sized metal tube with a quick flick of your wrist (a move action), causing the bubbling transparent liquid within to instantly solidify into a jagged crystalline blade. By holding the tube, you can then use the crystalline blade as if it were a Medium short sword with the fragile quality. The blade lasts for 10 minutes, after which it evaporates, leaving nothing behind but the tube. You can add one dose of poison to the liquid in the bottle, which acts like applying a dose of poison to a weapon except it is a full-round action; when the liquid turns into a solid blade, the weapon includes one application of that poison. When the blade evaporates, the poison does so as well.
Would this if combined with poison in the tube only hold one dose of poison? the whole blade is made of the poisoned material

Yeah, it says one dose, and that makes sense to me since it looks like the blade is intended to be used once and that's it (fragile so will most likely break at first use). A perfect assassin's weapon since there's no evidence left afterwards.
