She's been active on Twitter recently, but that's about all I know. I followed her specifically to keep tabs on her :)

I was thinking it was weird we weren't seeing this game popping up in Recent Posts lately! Hope all's well with Lyn!

I know the Sunwakes are generally a family of dragons, but I guess somewhere along the lines they adopted an angel, lol.

Dhaunae is a PC for Scarred Lands game, set in the ancient past. Decided to spread the Sunwake name around a bit, lol

Aside from the mythic tiers and Radiant, Dhaunae could easily join Avalon one day. I don't think Radiant would be vetoed, but if it were, I could probably find a replacement class.

NOTE, I am not even sorta saying she should actually join Avalon, but she could be an interesting edition to the game, I think.

Not too much, I made affiliate on Twitch, so now I hope to eventually start makin some monies. Need to work on a good schedule. Also applied to my local B&N.

Gameswise, I'm working on a PC for a RL The Blight game, as well as a tri-stalt character for a game over on Mythweavers that's roughly similar to Avalon in that the game is always open, and there's a central hub for PCs to hang out in while awaiting new missions.

Every time I hear tri-stalt I just kind of cringe at the possibilities XD

Alright, peeps, my darling child has finally caught up on homework (kinda...they're actually still working on it, but should finish it today and have the rest of spring break to relax, and at least we're through the bits they need my help on), my husband is in Asia for the next month (the bad: I'm on my own for a month; the good: I get a month without constant interruptions so have some chance of actually getting s$$# done...), and I am I think finally at a point where my stress has dropped to the point where I can put together whole sentences instead of stress-knitting and binge-watching Supernatural again (not that I've stopped either stress-knitting or binge-watching Supernatural....that's ridiculous to even suggest, but I can cut down on the number of episodes per day anyhow), so let's get this party re-started! ^.^

Meanwhile, the second guard stumbled as Tyrrin fell from his grip, but he rights himself and draws his blade, holding it against Tyrrin's throat. "That's enough!" he growled.

I do believe this guard will be regretting his life choice (thanks to the ready-to-pounce Jaiye and the still-invisible Ghalen) in 3....

Holy forking shirtballs!....well, okay then.... so I am definitely emotionally compromised courtesy of the Supernatural season finale, but on the bright side I gotta say it definitely provides some much needed inspiration for the rest of this scene with the chancellor.... *evil laughter* ;P

So Ace's next action should trigger the important narrative events that have been waiting. Fate, of course, has been planning on the perfect moment.... >:D

Looong time coming. I think we were planning this since 2014? At least.

lol. Yeah, probably. At least pieces of it. Two major character plot lines and a campaign plot point all intersecting at the same point makes for some challenging setup, I'll say that.

I'm curious if Ace's *specific* ability he's about to use was planned for, or if destiny/fate lined up perfectly where that won't matter.

Until the specifics came up, I never even considered what Ace is about to do as a solution, but it's been on his sheet since the beginning and maybe Lyn wrote this scene with that in mind.

Or perhaps everything is going to work out regardless.

Multiple ways to get to the same destination really. ^.^

Sorry Lyn!, had a super busy weekend which included seeing Endgame Sun. Monday and yesterday were spent catching up.

No worries, just trying to keep the game from slipping from my attention too! :)
Hope you liked Endgame more than I did....I kind of nerd raged over certain aspects that were handled less than logically. :P

Also having a slightly surreal day. You know the joke, 'welcome to twitter, if you are female a creepy middle aged dude will be assigned to you shortly'? Ummm......yeah, so now I'm wondering if one of my favorite actors is actually a creep or if his account got hacked....o.O
Edit: pretty sure the answer is hacked...nothing like a quick fact check to clear that up. :P

My very good friend also had a similar experience, cept on Instagram, and by a fake, yet total copy of an actor's account. Thankfully, she was also talking to me at the same time, so I was able to help her out.

Why do I get the feeling with what Lyn just wrote that Avalon as a game here on the forums is going to be ending soon??

It’s more that we are at the end of a big chapter in the overall story arc. I mean, not that close considering how long it takes us to play through stuff, but yeah, we are definitely approaching the ending of the campaign I’ve been working on from the beginning. So yeah, the foreshadowing gets pretty heavy, especially when talking with Fate :P

But yes, there is an apocalypse event coming up. I mean, not exactly a spoiler given how many times it's been straight up called out. :P

Now to go correct Ace who has got the wrong idea entirely, which is not uncommon when talking to mysterious entities that aren't so good at remembering how to explain things to a limited mortal perception.... :D

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

It's a little tricky writing Ace for this scene.

*He* is obviously very intelligent, but for the most part, that intellect is pretty much grounded in the mundane, or at least non 'cosmic', world.

Kinda like Batman if he suddenly found himself among Marvel's Abstracts(Death, Eternity, Order, Chaos, etc).

*However*, as the player, I have a fair amount more knowledge not only of the over-arcing meta Lyn is telling(not that much, but obviously more than Ace) but also a general 'cosmic awareness' of the universe, mythology(real world, not in game), etc, that Ace doesn't really posses.

I hope I'm doin an okay job writing his dialogue here.

I donmo what to say. Don't usually read stories I'm not involved in, so I've no idea what's going on, and it's been so long I barely remember how to write my charecters.

I am also so lost...

Well, we had several scenes going, but honestly a lot of it was kinda filler. The equinox festival is happening during the early evening. A lot of what was playing out at Avalon was events from the morning/early afternoon. So most of it can be wrapped up and we can move on to evening, which means Dave's birthday party. I've been focusing mostly on the equinox fest because it's a campaign event.

Events that were going on include:
-Lang and Gareth doing some codebreaking on Gareth's book. Pretty ready to just hand wave the rest of that and say y'all found the dang coordinates for Haven already.
-Arthur designing a navigation tool for Adon to find his way around the school
-Fun and games as students played outside, worked on craft projects, etc.
-Svarog family drama being slightly less dramatic than usual....slightly
-Firebird politics gone horribly wrong as voting in a new government was interrupted by the need for a trial of certain prominent members as well as the death of others. Much drama.
-Raelle and Ardiente hacked into surveillance to view all of said drama.
-New student (I wanna say Maya, but I think I'm remembering the name wrong?) gets sidetracked on her way to the office by the world's chattiest nephilim....pretty sure that convo ended though
-Ryleh gave a school tour

You're doing just fine! Especially since he is definitely getting tossed in the deep end without warning. :)
