If you wanted 1 of those each it would be available.

Just trying to figure out what would be available in a more objective way. Anything below rare from other books most likely freely available. For DW....

Crazy idea, but how about you roll on your renown instead of Profit Factor? There's a conversion chart in DW for it already. Nothing would cost you renown and I won't allow it for hero level equipment or chapter relics. Just thinking out loud..

Looked up the chart Core pg. 139

Scarce and between 1-14 requisition points freely available.

Rare (14-20) - 20 roll on renown
Very rare (21-30) - 30
Extremely Rare (31-50) - 40

If you trade something of equal value (temporarily) you can have a +10 bonus to your roll on renown. Breaking or losing means you don't get your traded item back.

Losing or breaking an item beyond repair will cost you 1 point of renown for every 10 points of requisition cost for the item. (rounded uo) This is too reflect that you went outside the armory to borrow personal wargear from a fellow marine, failure to return will hurt your reputation and make it difficult to borrow from others.

This would only apply if you wanted something not already requisitioned by you and decided you needed it while on board the ship or before a mission for departure. Trying to acquire something when there are fewer Marines around will increase the negative modifier to each tier, to reflect the lesser odds of finding what you want and possibly resistance to a trade by a marine deployed in battle.

So hows this for objective? Thoughts? Can begin using once we are on board and it becomes necessary.

Techmarine/Forgemaster Rank 7

Not sure if you intended to go Chapter strength(1000) or not. Strike Cruiser's typically support a single Company of Astartes(100 +specialists).

What's the renown cost for the Iacton's Project Materials?

Would you recommend we req Stalker Pattern Bolters(15)+Deathwatch Scout Armor(Mission Assignment)? If we go this route then Masking Screen(25) helps significantly.

Req so far (148)
MC Storm Shield(70)
Reductor(8)
MC Data Slate(10)
Pict Recorder(5)
Teleport Homer(10)
Dilation Field(45)

For the in-play reqs I like the idea.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

Sounds like a good idea, still totting up, but will probably have some to drop in the communal pot.

Yea, I think that was a typo, 100 ish and some additional. The majority of the crew isn't servitor, but maybe 40%...i'll try to explain and clarify more IC.

As for suggestions to Requisition, its really up to you and your play style and how you'd like to approach any given mission. You know you're going to a watch station and will be aboard a ship for a while. There will be some extra armor such as scout and Terminator if you wanted to switch out, that wouldn't be difficult to do. If you've got a 2nd armor, it comes with for sure, along with any weapons you have signature and/or have been awarded/given for alt ranks. You should have a small kit of stuff to choose from, plus this missions req, plus a means to acquire things on the ship, you should be fine with whatever choose. Love the Dilation Field choice, finally something fun to play with! Great choice.

Remember, being on a ship and/or watch station, you'll have to mind your weapon choice and penetration. Holes in the walls or hull aren't good for anyone. Remember the injections you all had from before and or graphs if you took that option, just some extra protection from the void should you find yourself there.

Requisition:

Tri-flame Vambrace (45)
Basic, 30m, s/ 2d10+4 E, Pen 5, 12 clip, 3 Full reload, Flame
Fire modes:
a)Concentrated: -20 to test to catch fire and put them out.
b)Wide: Doubles arc to 60 degrees, +1d5 horde magnitude dmg.
c)Burst-Lose flame quality, still have AG test to catch fire as though in dragonfire round.

Astartes Assault Shotgun (7)
Basic, 30m, s/3/5, 1d10+10 I, Pen 4, clip 20, Full action reload, Reliable and scatter.

Flip Belt (21)

Psy Ammunition 4x basic (20)

Stalker Pistol (10)

Psy Ammunition 4x pistol (10)

Astartes Grapnel: (3)

Just a beginning list for myself. There is an awesome gun for techpriests/techmarines that only they can take and its damage grows the longer the distance...can't remember the weapon, but it is powerful and could be quite useful. Anyone remember the name of it or where to find it? Been keeping an eye out for it, but haven't noticed it yet....Just a heads up for the GM or Varryl.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

It should be the conversion beam or something like that. Yup it is really powerful.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

@Xing: Where did you get that flip belt btw? Was it taken from another book - cannot find it in the DW books atm... And would that +20 also count to increase the movement speed of its wearer?

Yea, conversion beamer, that rifle is bad ass and would be perfect to take.

Flip belt is from Rogue Trader, Eldar stuff. Requires pilot (personal). Remember, I said anything from any book is up for grabs, even making a DW varient if needed, the conversion cost is in core if you don't know how many points, just ask me.

Flip belt does not add to movement rate. Does have hover ability, but that's it.

Even the psy ammo he gets is from DH books, which if they have it, surely DW would too. Lots of cool things not in DW, but are available in my game and arguably should be available in any.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

Seems like a cool thing to take nevertheless. Will bring my dodge/acrobatics from 70 to 90% which is pretty cool =D
Cost seems to be 21 after a look @Xing's profile?

I missed the part about the cool injections to survive void for longer, do we still have access to it?

How about a personal Thunderhawk (80 req asset)? Would we have access to one anyway? It is a hefty price to pay if we would have access to one anyway.

Techmarine/Forgemaster Rank 7

Downside of the conversion beam is the Exotic Wpn training requirement. I'd be more of a threat to us than the enemy.

But doesn't Forge master let you use exotic without penalty? I could be crazy.

Flip belt same as Xing

Yes, have access to the injections for free.

You already have some thunder hawks enough to fit the all the Marines.

Ship will have some tanks, apc etc, kept it vague earlier as most things you'd have access to because of the number of Marines, importance of the mission, backing from multi ordos, Mars, and DW.

I double checked, says Forge master can use xenos weapons as if you've had training and mentioned experience with ancient weapons, so I'll rule if it's exotics too if the need arises, but I'd say you can work that conversion beamer without the talent. It's possible you had some hands on in preparation for this, knowing that necrons might need the power it brings.

Everyone has 200 requisition. I'll allow each person a chapter relic with your requisition points. Or you could choose a DW relic. As soon as you are finished, I'll update and put us on our way.

Ultramarine Devastator (Rank 7), Deathwatch Keeper

Sorry guys, currently on a very dull leadership and management course so haven't had my books. I'll try to get it done when I get home on Thursday evening.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

@Everyone: We all should take signum links - because they are simply awesome, and will help (me) greatly to hit things if we have to shoot something from afar =D
The signum should be taken by someone with good tech-use - so likely pcros or varryl. Price is 35 for the signum and 20 for every link.

@Bayou: Is there an advantage of having multiple teleport homers in the team, beside possible two-pickup zones of course?

I"m gonna say since you have teleportorium, then you will also have some homers for use without req. No other advantage I can think of.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

Sorry I have been a bit quiet, was considering the tri-flame myself, but Surtur's breath will be coming out to play! I am happy to take the signum again, or we could take the Skull of Brantor. Going to have a better look tomorrow.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

So here is my shopping list:
Sneaky Stuff:
- Camo Cloak (20)
- Stummer (5)
- Flip-Belt (21)

Shooty Stuff:
- Signum Link (20)
- Stalker Bolter (15)
- Deathwatch Targeter (25)
- Angelus Bolter (BA relict, 25)

Other Stuff:
- Dipole Maglock @ Thunderhammer (5)
- Black Blood Injector (custom BA relict, 25)

Total: 136

Optional Stuff if you do not need my remaining points for something more useful.

Lascannon (to really dish out damage afar, 30)
Melta Bombs (25 each)
Special grenades (-)
Special Bolter Ammo (-)
Motion Predictor @ Angelus Bolter (25)

Ultramarine Devastator (Rank 7), Deathwatch Keeper

Things I would like to Requisition:

Master-crafted Stalker Pattern bolter (30)
4 clips of Stalker rounds (20)
Astartes Targeter (25)

Deathwatch Suspensor (25)
2 backpack ammo supplies worth of Kraken rounds (40)

Stummer (5)
Camo cloak (20)
Astartes Signum Link (20)
Vox caster (10)
Pict recorder (5)

Anyone taking some heavier stuff like launchers or plasma? Could be good to have around, even if you don't always take it, but nice to have the option.

I'll add a launcher and get some missiles to go along with it.

Camo cloak good idea, add signum link. I also took a shotgun for ship action, less Pen, though errata bumped it.

I don't have to take Vambrace if another wants it, I've used before, unless there's more than one? Everyone getting stalker Bolter, I'm going the Pistol version.

I'll try to add up the details and see what is left .. Need to get haywire stuff. Some cyro grenades would be fun.

Space Wolves Grey Hunter (Tactical Marine 7)

I am sorry for no action on the boards. This week has been hell at work as we are getting ready to ship a machine to California. I will get my requisition worked out tomorrow.

Ultramarine Devastator (Rank 7), Deathwatch Keeper

I've taken a plasma cannon before, and to be honest I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm happy with my heavy bolter with Kraken rounds and it's various add-ons, it feels much more flexible but still hits hard.

The Stalker-pattern I've taken before and not used, but it's a great weapon for stealth work, an area I feel Astartes need a lot of help in. I don't think everyone needs one, but I took one so that I could take on a sniper role if needed.

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

I took one stalker for much the same reason: Stealth action. Also the additional +10 from accurate will help me hitting things reliably with my low BS score - I need all the modifiers there are ...
I may go with the lascannon if my remaining points are not needed for anything else. That thing hits brutally and has a 50% chance for RF... But mostly I will just hit things with my hammer until it stops moving (and then a little more just to make sure it stays that way)
;-)

Happy Chinese New Years everyone.

I think Brother Tyreon has gone AWOL, that's twice he's created a PC and played about a week, so I'm going to either replace or bot him, maybe both. Wolf Priest has some healing now, so you all should be fine. If not, that's what Fate points are for ;)

Ready to get this show on the road, requisition should be done within 24 hours, if that's too soon, speak up at least, otherwise, you have what you have and we begin the mission and training for your ship roles.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

I had better put mine in then!
Iron Halo 40
Combitool 15
Skull of Brantor 35
Dipolemaglock 5
Astartes Targeter 25
Hvy Flamer 15
Multi Melta 35
Suspensor 25

5 spare

Unless anyone has any better ideas?

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

If we have pooled ressources left, we could get one Terminator suit + equipment as a backup variant if we need one?
Otherwise I will go with some of my alternatives to check out those req points.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

With a large servitor crew, I did wonder if it was worth getting an Astartes Omnitool for Brother Varryl. I am a little screwed if we have to be sneaky, but would just have to use my hammer I guess!

25 from First Founding. I could give up my combitool if it helps.

Techmarine/Forgemaster Rank 7

Req(198/200)
Duty's End (60) RoB
Reductor(8)
The Pleician Tome(30) RoB
Dilation Field(45)
Cortex Implants(30)
Deathwatch Astartes Combitool(25) FF

Space Wolves Grey Hunter (Tactical Marine 7)

Sorry for the hold up. I am putting it together right now.

Space Wolves Grey Hunter (Tactical Marine 7)

A few questions for Bayou:

Would you consider making a Relic shotgun?

I was looking for interesting things to take, and I started sifting through the Emperor's Chosen, and I think it would be interesting to take the Mantle of the Silver Lion while not knowing its particular history. Also, it would be interesting to try to purify the Defiled Mantle of the Crusader. The thing that turns me off to those relics is the fact that a significant portion of their power depends of the possession and use of the Heroic Legacies.

Also, would you be willing to allow a combination of a diagnostor helmet with a wolf skull helmet?

I would like to take the Inquisitorial Asset 'Arcane Weaponry', and add either felling or something that blocks regeneration to one of my weapons. I would prefer the thing that blocks regeneration; can that be done?

Requisition Items so far:
Camo Cloak (20)
Stummer (5)
Signum Link (20)
Jump Pack (15)
Charm (6)
Arcane Weaponry (15)
MC Assault Shotgun (14)
-Fire Selector (2)
-Slug Rounds (2 clips) (8)
-Penetrator Rounds (2 clips) (12)
Astartes Melta Gun (20)
Great Wolf Pelt (10)

Requisition used: 147/200

Possible Requisition
Barrage Pattern Plasma Gun (28)
-MC Upgrade (28)
Diagnostor Helmet Combo (see above) (TBD)
Relic Assault Shotgun (outside possibility, see above) (TBD)

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

Defiled Mantle of the Crusader is the armour that Pyros is working on cleansing, it was one of only a few in that book that didn't seem to rely on heroic legacies as much.

You will have access to 2 more terminator armors beyond Vartas'. Later, if you decide to use, they'll have some weapons chosen by me.

Don't want to change armor again for anyone.

Diagnostic helm combined with skull helm seems reasonable, could be something that Varryl could work on during the trip. Just requisition the helmet and work can be done during transit.

As for arcane weaponry, that's fine to take, but I don't think anything exists yet to block regeneration. Maybe something exists for biological regeneration, but doubtful anything exist for mechanical regeneration, as the enemy is relatively unknown. Maybe something later that could be researched or done if you captured a necron or some tech for analysis and study.

Relic shotgun sounds OK, just need some proposal from you about details.

Is that it for everyone? Any questions I missed?

Blood Angels Assault Marine (6), Chaplain (1) [Wounds 23/23, TB 10, Armor 11/9/8, FP 5/5, Movement:7| 14| 21 | 42 (x2), WS:75| BS:35| ST:60+20(14)| TO:60(12)| AG:60| INT:40| PER:40+20| WP:50| FEL:42]

I'll go with lascannon and melta bomb for a total of 191/200.
Don't know what else to take atm. Feel free to take my remainder points.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

So I think that means 16 spare if you can use them Brothers Hammern or Xing. Otherwise I concur with Xing's suggestion of Haywire stuff.

My brother is currently on a train, so gonna let him post later tonight hopefully, I'll try to update tomorrow and get us going. Anything else needed or desired will have to be acquired by the rules I posted previously.

Sounds good. I will take felling for my storm bolter with the arcane weaponry.

I will requisition the diagnostor helm and work with Varryl IC to combine the two.

I will also get some ideas for a relic shotgun to you.

Hey guys,

Chinese Spring Festival finally over, returning to work and a normal schedule again. Was in the countryside without running water and poor internet, lost a few posts I tried to make, so just gave up. I'll be updating tonight or tomorrow, so after that no more requests.

Still struggling with nurgles gift here, so ic post may take a while as my head is aching and my body temperature is close to Pyrus'...

I think we decided on Pilot (Flyer) and a not further specified tactics skill in Deleos case?

@Deleos: Yea, i think that was it, sorry to hear you got the plague. Tactics could be something like Air combat, I think thats an option..or void tactics...maybe both...as Chaplain's role might be limited in combat situations...but at other times, you could play an important role if people decide to confide in you and/or you're guidance is needed.

@Everyone:

Vartas, weren't you aboard the P.I. before? I assumed you would know the captain and others, it was before I joined and took over the game, so I could be wrong, was just confused by your introduction. We're on the bridge now, with your mentors, so feel free to act/post and do as you will before the journey begins and/or during. Need to post over int he soul reaver game and then I'll awaken Pardis for some debriefing while on route. Other than that, ball's in your court fellas.

Ultramarine Devastator (Rank 7), Deathwatch Keeper

Yeah I was, but we didn't really interact with the crew, so I figured I probably know his name but he's unlikely to know who I am.

Male Salamander Astartes Tactical marine 4, Dead Station Vigilant 1, 1st Company vet 1

I don't think we had covered Pyros' skills, but I was thinking probably the next Command and then either Tactics (Orbital Drop Procedures) or Schol Lore (Codex Astartes +10) probably the drop tactics.

@Bayou When you get the chance, would it be possible to stick the build of the Dark Tide into the Campaign Info tab? It might just make it a little easier to find further down the road.
Edit:- Forget that last bit Bayou, sorry I just found the profile you set up for the Dark Tide.

No problems Bayou ^^
In fact that post was written in parallel to my wiki-research towards "what types of flyers are there at all?" and while I was still ill, so it wasn't my best post. Would not have surprised me if you simply couldn't really make something more out of my post ;-)

Hey guys. I realize that my writing has been sorely lacking for a while. For some reason I am having some trouble getting into Ulrich's headspace enough to write for him.

I will try to get some work done with Ulrich this week/weekend. Sorry for the substandard involvement.
