Lito takes one more look at the slate board he was starting to put a crew schedule on before tossing it softly on the captains desk.

Then he gives Besmara his best smile.
Oh you were planning on sleeping?

Then, work completely forgotten, he spends his evening and much of the night worshiping Besmara.

So does the better food and shifted work schedule (so nobody gets fatigued) count as a +2? Just so you know if it does that means I have a + 20 to Diplomacy (Versatile Performance +12, Rank +4, +2 Food, +2 Work schedule). So do we even need to roll as there's zero chance of failure on anyone who's not actively hostile.

Narrator

Everyone not on our side counted as hostile, so you can make good use of that bonus. And That +2 is the same as ever. You come up with something plausible. And I have the fun to read what it is. So schedule is fine. It just will wear off once they get used to it.

Besmara enjoys her first night as Captain and it is even better than she imagined it. She really enjoys the attention Lito pays to her well being. "Smart, handsome, hard working and such a gentle man. You're too good to be true. But don't wake me up yet, I want to enjoy this dream a little longer."

As he sees how Noonan enjoys the meal and that he still looks hungry Ambrose gives him another helping. "Sour times are over lad. No need ta go ta bed hungry."

Once Lito leaves the crew to deliver his report to the Captain, Rosie takes over the entertainment part. With her fiddle she plays some cheerful songs.
Perform(String): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Being on the good side of those in charge is a good thing. And keeping a sour mood only ruins your own day. And Rosie is the sweetest thing on board anyway. So why not trying to break the ice. And so Conchobar decides to put his talents to good use and sing to the songs Rosie plays making up interesting texts as he goes.

Eager to help this party Ambrose makes some grog. He waters down some rum and adds sugar to it to create something drinkable out of this liquid poison.

"Tamorrow will be the start of the ship wide toughen up program, that includes thee captain. Wes needin to be makin' sure we be ready for any other pirate or lawful folk who try to be takin' our ship. We will all be learnin' from each other."

Estelle will then sit down and finish her meal, after the festivities start she will leave the crew to their fun and go on rounds to check the ships hulls integrity.

During dinner Trytton is quiet and enjoys the meal. After dinner he goes to find Fishguts, "Tell me what you want to cook in the morning and I will do my best to catch it for you." Trytton nods at the cook with a smile.

Narrator

As the night goes on one after another moves to their hammocks. Not all are happy with the situation of getting moved from the officers cabin to the middle deck but Lito did a good job of ensuring everyone that there are no hard feelings versus the former friends of Plugg and Scourge. So no one is hostile anymore.

The new day starts with Pluck flying through all the decks "SQUAAAK! LAZY SLOTHS! GET UP YE FILTY WENCHES!"

Fishguts looks confused "It's ships bisquits, as always. Ye won't find me up that early to cook somethin'. But ye can talk ta our new Quatermaster to buy somethin' ta make better ship bisquits."

The captain is the last one on deck. Looking really relaxed she walks past the crew with a smile. "I'd like ta talk to ya guys on the sterncastle once yer done with the morning routine." she tells her officers.

She then moves on to the steering wheel checking her compass, the sea and the weather waiting for the anchor to be lifted and the sails to be set.

"Ye know what? Everything ye catch is good. It's fresh. But I need some spices and maybe some pigs. What a waste ta throw them into the sea for the sharks." He looks through his provisions. "It's not gettign better than grilled fish fer now."

"Sometimes if ye cannot beat em scaring em is the next best thing."

She will release everyone to go and eat, moving up to the stern castle to meet with Besmara.

"Yes Ma'am?" Estelle will salute with a big grin on her face. "Ye missed exercises, 10 lashes for ye. Lito can do thee honors"

"Ya see?" Besmara tells Estelle pointing to Lito. "He at least pretends to respect me authority."

Turning to Lito she explains "Estelle decided I earned myself 10 lashes for skipping exercises. And suggested you give them to me. You think you can make that less painful than her exercises? Because I need a sustainable option to skip this pain in the ass." Besmara jokes.

"But foreplay aside. What are we going to do once we got our ship rechristened? There are quite some ships I would like to send to the bottom of the sea. Like the Wormwood. But I don't think we can take that yet. So what will it be?"

Narrator

As the Man's Promise glides over the waters the wind freshens, pushing the ship towards the open sea.

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

"Tighten the ropes on starboard, and get up in the rigging. If we get stronger winds the moon sails, sky sails and the fore staysail have ta be lowered." Besmara shouts over the deck and turns the wheel to compensate the drift and to sail close to the wind.

Profession(Sailor): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
But she overshoots with the sails flapping in the wind and all propulsion lost. "Ah, shite. Take down the top sails."

Narrator

The wind gets stronger over the next hours and the Man's Promise plows through heavy sea. As it gets dark with the storm still ongoing navigating becomes all but impossible. The waves breaking over the ship the spray dousing everyone the sight is naught. After a long night of fighting the storm it dawns again and the storm abates. But just as the crews hope is up again a ugly noise of wood scraping over ground shakes the whole ship and the travel comes to an abrupt halt.

The ship ran on ground on the coral reef surrounding a small island.

Knowledge Geography or Profession(sailor) DC 20):
Bonewreck Island

The water here is crystal clear and the island is covered in dense lush green jungle.

A quick check on the ship reveals a leak at the main storage but with the falling tide it is no immediate threat. But in the long run it will not be possible to get the water out as quick as it comes in. Also Sandara is found nowhere on the ship.

You can either continue the conversation on sterncastle as this described events take hours, or decide to go on with the adventure from the end of the events.

Rosie climbs the lookout to check the surroundings for any signs of Sandara and comes back after a few minutes. "Captain, captain, I found a red cloth washed ashore over there. Maybe it's Sandara's flag!" she tells pointing to the shore and offering the telescope.

Jarrus listens to all that's said on deck and turns arouns looking for this man called Jarvis that Lito keeps talking about. Then carries on listening. To Besmara's comments he adds "Might be that we go ask a couple merchant ships for a sea tithe aye. Not ta hurt anyone mind ya but we'll be needin an upgrade if we're to challenge the ships ye're speaking of Cap'n."

"Aye them top sales won't be needed Cap'n. Let me take over here and ya can see to the duties only a Cap'n can do aye." Jarrus says then starts directing the crew to set the sails accoringly.

Jarrus heads to on deck and looks out. "Aw hells'. This ain't good. That there's Bonewreck Island."

After hearing Rosie point out the red flag.
"Well spotted Rosie! Cap'n, what're yer orders? Without Sandara most o' us wouldn't be here. We gotta go get 'er. And that island ain't a pleasant one"

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

Oh my, how do I get rid of that responsibilities and keep the good bed? Besmara thinks as she managed to set the ship on ground and lose one of the most important crew members. And all on her second day as captain.

"We need ta fix the ship. Who's going ta do that? Use some planks from the deck and replace the ones broken in the middle deck. Estelle? Your job."

"As for Sandara we have ta go after her. Who knows somethin' about that island? Who volunteers for that rescue mission?"

Here the first problems start. This is a part for the PCs. But we did the mutiny early and are now in command. The Captain would not leave the ship. And leaving the crew alone which is 2/3 not really loyal to us would be really ignorant. So you can either go alone, or ask for NPCs to join you in that. But Besmara stays on board. Your call.

Assuming that makes him friendly and given he is a bard:
I noticed you also seem to know your way around a socal group. Can you do me a favor. Keep you eyes open on the group of riggers and let me know if you see anyone having problems. Just to be clear I'm not asking you to spy but rather to let me know if you see someone who can use help or is unhappy. I want to make sure they get the help they need to keep us all running smoothly.I will normally be down on deck, so I might miss something up here while dealing with the problems down below.

After a few hours as the wind starts to pick up. Lito takes his leave and says: Naheem is going to need help with the Mainsail. Stay safe up here and let me know if you have any problems.

Then he climbs down and works with Naheem to work the mainsail. Again as they work through the storm he tries to determine what his feelings are and convince him that throwing in with the PC is the best choice.
