Amerdan Stormspeaker |

Amerdan narrows his eyes at the cleric as he approaches. They soften for a moment, betraying Amerdan's hostility, but he quickly narrows them again. He sighs and takes the money, "Yes, well, thank you...And good job."
Amerdan at least tries to sound sincere with the final remark.

Rosie Cusswell |

Despite Jasmine's flirting, she must be doing something that the gnome dislikes as though he stays genial during the conversation, quickly makes a poor excuse to be somewhere, anywhere, else. Go 9.
Rosie walks up to Ned, bold as brass and slaps him on the rear, her strike surprisingly hard for someone so small. "Good fight ye had there, almost got yer gob crushed in, ya dumbf!@#. Took ye long 'nuff t'notice his lazy eye. Almost thought I wasn't gonna be rollin' in some extra coin, ye hit like a pussy." she laughs good naturedly. "Like thissun here." She pats Seijiro's hand. "There, there, sometimes ye just gotta take one in the f*~@ing kisser t'let others shine."

Seijiro |

Seijiro shrugs to Rosie and nods at her remark. "Aye, someone had to take the brute's first shot. As for a party, why not?" He pulls out his harmonica and begins to play a lively shanty.

Sandara Quinn |

"Well, your little group, 'specially you, Ned, have managed to make Plugg hate ye even more. Impressive for only a few days aboard. Truth be told, I only figured ye'd have Scourge's ire." she smirks. "Luckily fer you all, Harrigan's forbade any sort of killin' amongst his crew, with the punishment being a keelhaulin', so he can't do anythin' too forward, but I'd keep eyes on the back of me head if I were ye all."

Seijiro |

"Don't look at me, I didn't show anybody up." He gives a little half-smile, chagrined, then shrugs. "But I'm one with you all, so I guess Lucky's victory is all of ours, and the ire along with it. So be it."
They're all right though, we've got to watch our backs more closely from now on... Scourge and Plugg had it in for us from the start, and are even more pissed with us now.

Jasmine Rose |

"We should concentrate on changing as many attitudes as possible. We are going to need need more allies if we plan on surviving on this factioned tub." Pausing to make sure the others are following.
"Lucky -owlman may be receptive towards you now, before Plug gets to him. We need Cut-Throat on our side I can make anothe run at him, unless someone else thinks they can persuade him." Looking at Seijiro, "Can you focus on Tibbs?" Then she addresses Amerdan, "Are you up for run at Conchobhar?

Seijiro |

Seijiro nods to Jasmine. "Good idea to set objectives and divide up the tasks. I'll try talking to her." By 'her' his nod towards Tibbs obviously indicates he mean the halfling woman.
Is it early enough to still have night actions remaining or are we 'done' for the night?

ThatEvilGuy |

Nobody has done a night action yet from my recollection.
Jasmine, during the course of the evening it seems as if, finally, Cut-throat is starting to warm up to you. You find out that she's good friends with Ambrose (and his primary drinking buddy aboard the Wormwood). You also overhear, while Grok is in her cups, the half-orc woman muttering about "Leavin' the store unlocked" and she leaves to go and, presumably, lock up.

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine will follow Grok, hopefully a a bit of distance, trying to be steatlthy but act a bit sluggishly drunk. Attepting to determine if Grok makes it to the store or not.
Stealth Untrained: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
If she fails she tries to act drunk bouncing off a wall.

Eddard "Lucky Ned" Sharp |

Good people, it's been three the number of times I typed this post and the forum just ate it (on one occasion I typed it in notepad and my PC crashed). So I'll keep things kindda simple.
Ned walks over to the common area, smiling at the gathered pirates entertaining themselves. That smell of rum, piss and wet dog was more of a home to him than any other. He grabs a mug of grog, sits near the halfling woman and kindly asks:
Rosie love, did I ever get around to tellin' ya how I got on that flimsy plank you fellas rescued me from? 'Tis a funny story, to be true.
Receiving her response, the priest smiles and takes a gulp of the foul-tasting rum. He sets the mug aside for now and takes a good lungful of air.
T'was a clear night in Port Peril when I joined the Sea B##&+'s crew. The captain was a former whore by the name of Jamie Bloodwidow, and we sailed for the north and fat merchant ships. The gods laughed at us, for they held their breath and the winds just stopped dead on their tracks. Then I met her cabin boy, a skinny fella called Japper, as he grabbed me by the shirt and said "Thank the lords you a pretty one. The cap'n's wearing me thin!". Ya see, that happens sometimes when a woman goes out to sea for too long, she gets the desires of men, and it's all a swampy inferno down'ere.
He goes on to tell of the many ways in which he dodged her advances, including at least one jump to sea. But eventually there was no room left for dodge and the excuses had worn out. As he was tied up to a bed, though, in the black of the night a cry was heard.
The slaver galley Hellbent approached, its slave-driven oars furiously diving as it sailed for the kill. Ned was released and given his weapon for the ensuing fight, which was only marginally better than facing the fanged monster down the captain's pants.
Perform check to entertain the crew: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Eddard "Lucky Ned" Sharp |

ugh awful rolls across the board. Well, since I rolled so terrible, you guys mind if I edit the monologue a bit? Just after he says Ya see, that happens sometimes when a woman goes out to sea for too long, she gets the desires of men, and it's all a swampy inferno down'ere. he complements:
Ain't that right, miss Grok?
I figure a roll of 1 should at least offend someone.

Seijiro |

Seijiro plays a quick riff on his harmonica after wincing at Ned's comment to Grok... kind of to distract the other sailors, though he doesn't play to entertain - more to simply turn their attention elsewhere for a moment -
Aye, the lad's talked himself into a corner, though it weren't a bad tale, just not the best tellin' of it I'm sure.
He'll play a shanty or two and then grow quiet, watching the other sailors and his companions.

Amerdan Stormspeaker |

Amerdan sits down somewhat forcefully beside Chonchobhar. Amerdan looks at the halfling dandy with a deadpan expression.
"Your clothing is very colorful," Amerdan states plainly.
"Would you like to be friends?" The sea witch's now-squinted eyes do not blink, which the halfling may or may not consider unsettling.

Bad luck with the 6's.
Grok does notice you and shoos you back down to the crew quarters, too drunk to be too suspicious, but you shouldn't try your luck much further. You do notice that she locks up the store before stumbling towards her quarters.

Rosie is entertained, but moreso with the expression on Grok's face as she spits, curses and swears and is held back by a few crewmembers from getting into a fist fight with Ned.
"Ye've got a f&ing way with the b#@#&es aboard this here ship, Ned. Ye ain't gettin' lucky t'night wi' that'n 'less ye wanna bed one o' Scourge's hag pox'd poppets o'there." smirks Rosie.

Of course.
Gnome, actually.
"My, my!" says the dandy. "I'd love to continue our conversation but it looks like I need to be getting down below for my beauty rest. We wouldn't want the First Mate to be upset with my work on the morrow. Enjoy the rest of your evening, Amsterdam. Yes, indeed you should!" he says as he scurries off.

Amerdan Stormspeaker |

Amerdan seethes a little as he watches the gnome scurry away, eyes squinting at the array of dazzling colors. He returns to Jasmine after his failed attempt.
"See?! I told you I'm not good at this!" The sea witch's voice is slightly exasperated. He huffs in indignation as he crosses his arms over his chest. "Seems as if our luck has turned against us tonight."

Seijiro |

Seijiro, as he planned earlier, does try to engage Tibbs in conversation. He tells her his tale of how he ended up in Port Peril and worse, on the Wormwood, making it as entertaining as possible, then asks her for her story of how she ended up on this accursed ship. He'll try to gauge her relation to and feelings about the captain and officers while talking with her.

7 and 8 really? the dice roller can bite me! lol

Jasmine Rose |

Replying to Amerdan, Lucky and Seijiro "It looks like Besmara is having more fun at our expense...at least she has a sense of humor."
She slides in her hammock with Flotsam at her feet. Her toes start to instinctively rub the feathers.

Eddard "Lucky Ned" Sharp |

Ned stumbles on the lower deck, feeling outright miserable.
Think my luck be runnin' out. Best not to try it.
He collapses onto his hammock, next to Jasmine.
How much of a idiot did ah make meself up their? Damned rum just took over, for the most part I had no idea what was comin' outta mah mouth.

Amerdan Stormspeaker |

Amerdan gets in his hammock shortly after Jasmine, letting his otter familiar curl into a circle on his chest. We can only hope.
With that he drifts into a deep sleep, preparing his body for whatever horrors are to beset them the following day.

GM --- Skull & Shackles |

Bad luck all around.
The night passes slowly as the ship sways from the added motion from the more powerful waves. Thunder rumbles in the distance, coming closer and a few of the pirates awaken, their sleep uneasy. The night is barely halfway through when a loud boom of thunder awakens most of the crew, the increased pitching and rolling causing fitfull, half-sleep.
A loud voice booms down into the hold, the voice of Master Scourge.
"ALL HANDS ON DECK!"
The ship suddenly pitches, causing a few of the pirates to tumble out of their beds, onto the ground.
Everyone needs to make an Acrobatics check to either stay in their hammocks, or land gracefully on the ground.

Seijiro |

acrobatics: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
Seijiro slips out of his hammock with grace and heads up topside with the others to see what's going on... feels like rough weather, probably a storm by the sound and feel of it he thinks on his way up.

Amerdan Stormspeaker |

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Amerdan's eyes are wide open suddenly, as his body tumbles out of his hammock. Even if he falls to the ground, a weak, devilish smile plays across his face. Hearing the storm outside he thinks, The storms. At last they've come.

Sandara Quinn |

Everyone made the massive DC 10 Acrobatics check!
Crewmates both fall and swarm out of their hammocks making their way above decks.
Sandara comes rushing down from above, soaked from head to toe, barely keeping gait with the roiling ship.
"Storm!! A bad one too!! Seijiro, we've got troubles up in the ropes and they need help now!! The rest of ye, come with me! This ship may be a Hellhole, but it ain't gonna be our grave if we have somethin' t'say fer it!" The priestess looks up towards deck anxiously as water flows down the stairs. "S*+~." she swears as she starts making her way back up.

Seijiro |

Seijiro makes his way for the upper deck following Sandara and surveys the situation, ready to climb up into the rigging where it seems he will be needed.
do you need climb checks from me, or what?

Jasmine Rose |

Jasmine follows Sandara on deck. The wind whipping her hair and she is beset with the feeling of true freedom for the first time, since waking up on this dreaded tub days ago. Yes, let the storm come and blow and toss Scourge overboard.
