Hmm this is a part where I am unsure what my options are. If I am able to charge that would be best if not then can I move forward and ready an attack to hit the first enemy that comes in range for the round? FYI think I still have an alchemist's fire flask in hand though not sure I want to use it with their current spacing.

You're not within 30 feet of the nearest one, so you can't charge on the surprise round, and you wouldn't be able to move and ready an action, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks Hekran and the Armenian man for your responses...Forgot this was a surprise round so doesn't matter. Though think I will give Neer the alchemist's fire flask that I had in my hand before the spiders were spotted as a free/swift action.

Seeing the spiders; Graktul quickly gives the fire flask in his hand to Neer before moving forward drawing his heavy flail from where it rested over his shoulder.

Damn so have to be adjacent at the start of a round to deliver a coup de grace.

Moving a little past the red spider, Graktul turns and takes a powerful swing attempting to crush the spider where it lies/sleeps/stands.

In any event, it doesn't matter, with the amount of damage dealt by everyone (vs 11ac as they are asleep), combat didn't last to long.

DC 15 Heal or Survival check to remove the silk gland for sale... You are limited to making two checks total (one per corpse). Plus, you may make an additional check for the surrounding egg sack....

I will also need to know if you are going to seek the original buyer Johannes Vox or another buyer.

Graktul still has Lucky Presence; that will work on a skill check too. Graktul, if your Heal or Survival check is decent, I think you should attempt one of these.

When someone else steps up to attempt to take a spider's egg sack out, The Armenian Man gives them Magdh's blessing. "When you can't have luck on your side, have fate!" He cocks his head in thought. "Or is it the other way around... I can never remember."

Stepping up to the down spider Graktul puts away his flail and pops the dagger out of his wrist sheathe.

The Armenian Man often confuses the ways of things; there's something about the day-to-day of town life that never connected with him. Well, GM asked for Diplo or K local, so we didn't have the option of Intimidate. But Armenian is just as bad at that anyway. No ranks in either. Also, just to clarify, Armenian is not the primary diplomat here. He is also making an aid check to add to someone else's roll.
