Sakuro, Obsessed Arcanist
Sakuro considered things for a moment, then shrugged and stayed where she was, continuing to defend.
I thought about Wild Arcana'ing a Magic Missile to hit them, but then I remembered this game has a thing about not accessing our mythic powers, and I don't think Sakuro has any of that water. XD; So... not much else I can do.
Sakuro, Obsessed Arcanist
Eh, keep it. XD Honestly, with the cultists on the run, I feel like it's better to save our (limited) supply for truly important matters. No need to waste it on minor stuff. ^^

Antonio can definitely reach the little boat you came in, but not the one heading for the broken out window frame - it's at least 20 feet away.
There's agitated splashing in the water, but no nibbling, as of yet.
Your size is probably keeping it away - that's a good sign. It's probably not magicked in any way. Nala watches from the relative safety of the boat. The captain and boys look at her, and he nods, but still keeps a nervous eye on the splashes of the giant fish.
Antonio Nedraid
"Well shoot." Antonio commented as he realized he wasn't going to catch them. Though he was secretly relieved at not needing to kill.
He waded back ashore.
"I say let 'em go. Let the storm judge whether they live or die.
"We still have to explore this place. Can we declare victory yet?" He asked, looking around at the battlefield.

Too big to search the bodies, Antonio looked around for entrances that lead deeper into the structure.

There are the doors the cultists came out of - you've seen into the simple cells where they obviously at least sleep - there are the large, sturdy double doors in the middle at the end, apparently leading into the front tower, and there's the door at the end of the walkway, in back, apparently leading into the large section offset and behind the main temple.
Sakuro, Obsessed Arcanist
"Let's not get overconfident. Also, thataway." Sakuro said, pointing over to the door at the end of the walkway. "I feel like it would be better to look around before we go through those big doors."
Antonio Nedraid
A puzzled look comes over Antonio's face.
"What is... Just a second fellows. I felt something underfoot." He said.
Setting his torch ashore, he reached down underwater. He ducked down under the surface and felt around his foot.
Antonio Nedraid
Antonio pulls up one broken stone after another to the surface, where he examined them briefly before dropping them with disappointment. He does this for a couple of rounds before quitting in disgust.

"Nothing. Just broken rocks.
"Alright then, let's see what's behind this door." He said as he went to check the simple cell doors first, saving the double doors for last.

Sakuro followed along, keeping towards the back of the group to help her stay out of danger. She was good at magic, not taking axe blows to the face. Knowing one's limits was the first sign of wisdom.
...
...Although nobody who knew her very well was likely to assume she'd finish acquiring wisdom.
Nia'Nikta
Nia would help examine the cells before heading to the dogs pulling out some of her meat and crouching. "Let's see if you guys can be rehabilitated." She murmurs cooing softly and giving them the food.
Moving to the final door after the cell check. The one that led to the side wing and if it was open looking down the hall. If not, scanning for magic before trying the door.

Some of the stones have an obviously sculpted side, though it's impossible to see how they might fit together.
As you approach a dog, he backs away, alternately growling and whimpering, though he watches the meat intently.
Off in the distance, you're losing the sound of the boat paddles in the rain, and by the time you've all made it around the walkways to the door, the boat it totally lost to the night. The door is old, but still looks sturdy.
Antonio Nedraid
Noticing at the last that the broken rock was more shaped than he first thought. He still didn't comprehend what it might be... or once was though.
"Hey Sakuro! Check this out!" He said, tossing the broken rock to her.

Sakuro reached out, but the rock landed with a heavy thud by her feet. She gave Antonio a Look before bending down to reach it. "'Sup?" she asked as she examined it a little more carefully, checking for magic at the same time. (...It was a habit, okay?)
Taking 10 (+5) on Perception.
Antonio Nedraid
"Hey, don't give me that look if you fumble a catch!
"As to the rock, I thought I saw carvings on one side and I wondered if you could tell if it was religious, mystical or just artistic. If it was important, I felt a bunch more of those rocks underfoot. Maybe we could try to reassemble it." Antonio said, still working his way through a basic search of the cells.
Antonio Nedraid
I wasn't going for a detailed search, just look in, check under the bunk, open the cabinets, just to see if there was anything obvious; like books, secret plans, magic stuff, money.
Nia'Nikta
While Antonio is looking at the cells she would move to the double doors and scans it with detect magic before listening at the door to see if she heard any movement.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Then she would move back to the door way that leads further in. "Is everyone ready?"
Sakuro, Obsessed Arcanist
Sakuro kept her magic ready, just in case she needed to fling it out at any slavering monstrosity that came through the door. Other than that, though, she was as ready as she was going to be.

I was kind of hoping for an answer to my question - you won't find a lot of value, but there are minor things. The last doors on either side open into linen closets, actually, for what it's worth.

No problem.
The door creaks open into a dark hallway. Soft, almost indiscernible sounds drift in the distance, muffled by the rain. What light sources do people have?
Antonio Nedraid
Antonio stepped cautiously into the hallway. Holding the crossbow and torch awkwardly, he crept forward, first checking the alcove to the right.

Reiko Arashi
Sorry guys. Spent the week doing inventory and then doctors appointments for the demonspawn that's coming. Yep, I have a little one on the way. Was kind of a shock considering that I've been told I was sterile for the last ten years. Should be semi normal now though.
Reiko draws his katana, and casts light on it. He then stays in the back of the group, keeping the less martially inclined members in front of him. He offers Sakuro a slight grin.
Worry not. I'll stay here so you aren't caught in an ambush from behind.
Antonio Nedraid
Antonio tries to turn the latch and/or shove it open.
If it turns out to be locked, he will put down the crossbow and try to unlock it.
