That's good. Still letting Henry sleep. Trying to be quiet while on phone with family that drives me crazy. Now about after 45 minutes or so of being on the phone with these people that like to call me stupid for some reason, I'm not feeling very relaxed. At least I'm not having to do any cooking this year. I'm just bringing the sparkling cider.
I got upset anyways even though I know these people that raised me are imbeciles, and now my face and most especially my ears are bright red like boiling lobster. How fun.
It's okay....I'm used to it.
Not everybody has holidays like this right? I think the sooner we get away from these people the better.
I still want for everyone else to have a fabulous holiday. No matter how you spend it.
I'm just really grateful that through everything I have Henry and even the spoiled brat princess puppy in my life. That's enough for me.

Spanish for Elf. It doesn't make sense on the language tree, but I'm lucky to know a second language, at all.

Henry is still in bed....I'm trying to NOT freak out about going down there to start getting this form filled out that effectively ends my job at the Hospital....I keep telling myself that everything is going to be okay....but, it's that nagging little part of my brain that I'm having issues with. My apologies for having fallen off the grid for the last few days. My work has moving from one building to another and has been having us help with the moving of everything we will need in our new location.
Suffice to say, I have been unable to post while at work and have been coming home late in the evening, tired and fried. I hope to be able to catch up on what has been happening in my games this weekend. If not I will update my status to reflect it.

We still haven't been able to get the lugnuts off the car, even with our friend and his dad helping with the tools that they brought. They are gonna come back later today with an air compressor, and try to put air in it and see if it'll get us somewhere we can get it repaired....hopefully. The maintenance guy is over here trying to "fix" the stove....which from the sounds coming from my kitchen is not going well. There's all that plus other stuff on top of that which is making our own world a little crazy and chaotic.....so like, we totally totally get it.

So...the drama continues. Couldn't get it off, stupid place wouldn't do anything cuz one of the lugnuts was stripped trying to remove it so we couldn't put it back on, and they won't touch it like that. James left us with air compressor so we can keep air in it....we'll have to continue the tire struggle tomorrow. *Sigh* My oven door is fixed at least. Just....whatever. *Throws hands in air* I give up.....

With everything going on, I don't think either one of us is feeling very good right now. Even our poor puppy princess face has been acting off. Like sick and vomiting for the last couple of days. All I can think of is that she's picking up on how stressed out and everything we've been and it's affecting her as well....I just hope that's all it is and she didn't somehow get into something that made her sick.
I'm careful when we take her outside, but ya never know and these a&#%+&&s around here have been throwing all kinds of trash into our little patio yard thing. I try to keep it picked up....but...like I said ya never know. Hopefully just a reaction to her people being too stressed out. I know we haven't been acting like ourselves lately....she's a very sensitive puppy.
I think I might need some more rest before attempting to go to work tonight. So, I may not be on very much. I just wanted to say I was sorry that I just can't deal with everything right now and I don't want it to affect the game.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

As this is the first evening that I have gotten home with time to relax and can poke about before bed, I am going to get some posting done. :-)

Only a couple hours left
Time for some sleep.
20 minutes till soups ready. Left over roast with broth, a little extra water added in along with more garlic and a bunch of other seasonings....lots and lots of onion, carrots, and potatoes. *rubs belly* I can't wait....HHhhmmmm, perfect weather for it too since it decided to send us another torrential downpour....hehehe
That sounds pretty damn delicious.
It was super yummy....very soothing. I don't really use much salt in things that I make, so I use things like garlic, rosemary, and other herbs to enhance the flavor. The meat was just like....melting and turning to strips as it cooked. I use a pretty low heat when I make my soups so everything is nice and tender with the meat falling apart as it cooks.
I don't know...I just really like soups. Lol
This is definitely the time of year for it. Did a roasted red pepper and tomato soup with grilled cheese yesterday.
MMmmmm....one of my favorite combinations.
Okay...getting ready to conclude my business with the hospital and finish getting the form filled out and just like that, over five and a half years of my life at that place are no more. My nerves are kinda jumpy today, sorry.
And I return. New day and a new project I am now assigned to. My drive is much less than it has been as I am now much closer to home. Getting home in 30 minutes or less is quite nice. I have no drive! (ambiguous statement to be taken as you will). :P

It's okay, we've been sorta blah for our own reasons as of late. I would just take it as meaning that you're happy you don't have to spend all day in a vehicle. So, yay.
About the keep, I think we're gonna have to suck it up for now and give them what they want. We aren't in a position to take them, and would end up...probably dead....eventually....if we tried. So, I think we should give them what they want for now and then once we're a little stronger come back and kick their asses.
I really think we're starting off wrong with this whole thing. It just seems really, unbalanced.

Okay...first of all I don't think we're incompetent....the dice has been rolling crappy and we've been having some bad luck. Plus, the way those asshats were acting at the guard tower we didn't have much choice. They had cross bows and I don't think we have the proper equipment to scale a wall. Though that's an idea....if we had the right equipment.
Anyways, we gotta deal with this bs first and then figure out what to do from here.
I'm sorry...but my eyes are burning and I don't think I can force them to stay open much longer.
