It's okay, it's an issue I've been dealing with for a long time and I hope everything is working out alright for Edward as well...but, it may be a bit before we are able to hear from him.
I gotta call Amtrak up and finalize everything for this trip...I'm probably leaving on Friday...but, I gotta check with actual people that can answer questions and such.
Their web site is too confusing for me and the virtual assistant isn't capable of answering the kind of questions I have.
That is I will if they ever take me off hold and let me talk to an actual person. grr
Okay, finally got everything sorted out.
I'll be leaving Little Rock this Friday on the 9th at 11:39 pm
Arriving in Chicago at 1:52pm on the 10th where I'll have about a 7 1/2 hour layover before I have to change trains.
Leave Chicago at 9:30pm on the 10th
Arrive in Syracuse N.Y. on the 11th at approximately 11:38am
Anything can happen when you travel and trains are not exclusive from delays, but I'll have my phone with me and can notify Cindy if there's such an issue.
Coming back I'll leave the station in Syr on the 26th at 9:41pm
Arrive in Chicago on the 27th at 9:45am, another 7 1/2 hour wait
Then leave Chicago on the 27th at 1:45pm
Arrive in Little Rock on 28th at approximately 3:02am and be home in time for our 12 year anniversary.
So...while I'm travelling and possibly away, my posting may be a bit sparse and I do apologize, but there is a 7 year old little girl that needs me and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
The heart cath itself isn't going to be done right away while I'm there....but, they are going to be doing more tests and checking her heart valves while I'm there so I'll know EXACTLY what's going on with my baby girl.
Wish me luck, cuz in a few more days....It's Adventure Time!! Lol Not really, but yeah.
Still...just a teensy bit nervous. Oh...but the great news is that the agent was able to put me in a lower level coach seat going and coming while on the Texas Eagle so that I'm on the same level as the bathrooms and don't have to worry about going up and down those steep stairs unless I want to be up on the observation car or something. So...in the way I really feel much safer.
Good, the less hassle you have to deal with the better.
*Nods* Yup yup....lot less chance of me fallin' on my face too. Lol The motion sick pills will help...but, they'll also make me kinda sleepy...which could be a good thing. You just don't ever really wanna be totally "out of it" while riding on a train.
At hair place now. Just got hair washed and getting ready for cut now. Taking off three inches of total length before we start layering and thining it out.

Well....after a tip from my massage therapist, went to Kholes to find shoes and found some that actually fit. Solid black and ugly as hell, but they fit me. Of course after trying them on Henry went to check the price and found out they were men's shoes. Shoulda known women's wouldn't have 11 1/2 size....but whatever, they fit and they're memory foam so I really don't give a s~&$.

If you guys think this game is bad, get a load of this: Years ago, we were playing in a Dark Sun campaign, and a mind flayer tried to use psionics to enslave us. We were pretty high level. The DM said "Just don't roll a 1."

I lived there for a few years. Great town!
Though, not so great in this weather...
Its super cold and I have to wait here at the gate till like 9:30, and it's super close to the doors they keep opening to the outside and keep letting more cold air in. I may have a bit of a sit.....but I ain't leavin this station and getting lost. Lol
BTW....can I get up, move 5 ft and attack in the same round.....or do I just get up this round? Sorry if I'm repeating myself but it's noisy and I'm having trouble concentrating. Lol

You make me laugh Mr. Telsyn, fir reals. I had to remind my mother that I'm a grown ass woman and have in fact ridden the big bad choo choo before. Lol You know what she said? "Oh I know honey, but things are different now and you've been married for a while now....." I won't go on, suffice it to say that I ended up telling her some stuff and then said my battery was low and I had to go. It shouldn't surprise me that she thinks that way......but, I guess it just bothered me a little.

Lol. The first couple years I lived in New York my Canadian relatives called everytime tey heard there was a shooting. It's hard not to laugh WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN IN YOUR ZIP CODE
Well....didn't get out till 4am. Now 6 hours behind, so if we're lucky Ill be in Syracuse by around 5:30. Bright side, every hour that I'm on this train brings me closer to Tatum, so in the end whatever I have to go through will be worth it.

I didn't even say anything to my parents about this trip until I was on my way to the train station and then as soon as those two words, New York, were out of my mouth.....I swear I could hear my mother starting to hyperventilate. She was like, "Why are you going to New York?" I told her and she was all like, "Oh you're just going to see Cindy and the girls then....okay that's fine." Like I was asking her permission in the first place. I told her more or less that it was a basic courtesy call letting them know what was going on since they are gonna be coming out for dads heart check up on the 16th and I didn't think it was cool for them to just find me gone and leave Henry to explain things to them. Sheesh
Anyways, we're goin through Ohio now and all I can see everywhere is snow. We're just about an hour outside of Cleavland or so now. I think the train is trying to make up a little time....but, it won't be much.

This is seriously the only game I'm in where everyone has consistently rolled terribly since it started. It's kind of amazing.
