So… do we have a job offer?
Also, according to the CRB, having gear equivalent to an NPC would reduce your CR by 1…. And starting with nothing would reduce CR by 2. Is that just too cheesy? Would that even do anything?
As for paying with copper coins, well, I can replicate greater creation with wish, can't I? It wouldn't really require a retcon beyond the absence of my homunculus (who isn't really doing anything anyway).
Also, Ixivixi, feel free to give yourself a +5 inherent bonus to your ability scores, and I'm happy to use my abilities to help you out any way you want.

No prob. I actually just kept forgetting to mention it (that, and in-game, it hadn't quite come time yet). This powerful of a character... I'd be something of a jerk to not help out.
GM, what items are for sale in the City of Brass?

Just to clarify, Eglian would make money by first using full pouch as much as needed to have lots of duplicates of homunculus clays, then sell those (at half price of just over 2,000 gp each) until the market has reached saturation (if that's even possible in the multiverse's biggest Bazaar), then buy another alchemical item, duplicate it, and repeat until he no longer needs any more money.

Hahaha.....
I tried listing off what I bought, and the page crashed.... too long of an input, I guess. I've added a spoiler to Eglian's page listing what I just bought.
I didn't even try to calculate the cost, it's so much (somewhere in the millions). However, being undead and therefore immortal, Eglian will spend however long it takes to find, haggle, bargain, create goods, offer spells, and trade for everything on the list.
You asked me to break the game... I'm doing my best.

You are asking somebody made as a companion to rich people to go shopping. Ixi is in heaven.
I kept it at just under 1.8 million.

Did you know there's a non-artifact version of the Deck of Many Things? It's called the Silent Aviary and allows you to put back cards you don't like.
...I bought 5.
I'm still working on recalculating my stats, and buying mundane gear. This is... I don't even know.
Ixi, have you looked at the Bottle of Everlasting Sake?

It's not exactly plane shift though. It's a direct ability of Wish
Transport travelers. A wish can lift one creature per caster level from anywhere on any plane and place those creatures anywhere else on any plane regardless of local conditions. An unwilling target gets a Will save to negate the effect, and spell resistance (if any) applies.
But yeah, similar effect. It's fair enough that interplanar travel won't work, but how about summoning, teleportation, and other conjuration abilities? Will the pocket dimensions still have access to the astral/ethereal plane? Also, will our extradimensional storage still work there?
DM Forgedawn |
Interplanar Travel not working is about what I'm saying. Summoning works, and teleportation works (But only within the dimension itself. You can't move things off a pocket dimension, just into. You need a portal to get out.
Same applies with extradimensional storage. You can take things out of a bag of holding, but you can't put anything in.

True. But it's still polite to say so. Or to make the game inactive.
We also both asked him several times about optimization, and his answer was to push the boundaries.
Eglian 代 |
That would be nice.
That being said, look at me. I could go toe-to-toe with Cthulhu, and I haven't even done the whole "infinite Awaken loop" exploit that I could pull off for endless stats and feats. Next level, I'd only get more insane, with a plan for what almost amounts to at-will quickened time stop on top of lots more.
