Using Wish to, on my first initiative count, cast Moment of Prescience (CL 40th) on myself, then using Wish on my second initiative to retry a roll made last round, namely my K (arcana) check, with the bonus from MoP.
Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 29 + 25 ⇒ (14) + 29 + 25 = 68
If a 68 can't identify it... I don't even know. Literally.

"Excellent." Eglian takes the paper, looks at it briefly, and puts it in a pocket. He looks at Ixivixi, "I suppose we'll be working together for a time. Here, let me give you strength." He touches the pocket dragon, and blue energy lines course over the small dragon's body, "If you seek any spells, do inform me. With that... time for a shopping trip."
As he finishes, the world around them blurs, snaps out of focus, and rematerializes in a bustling square in a strange city. Welcome to the City of Brass. Do you need any gear?

Eglian 代 |

After a time, Eglian meets up with his new traveling companion, each burdened with a lot more gear than when they parted. He's shuffling through a few decks of cards, pulling out one at a time, usually putting it back and pulling out a new one.
Silent Aviary time! Got to love having what amounts to 5 major artifacts (as it's essentially a safer version of the Harrow Deck of Many Things). Rolling a d54, going down the list in order.
Deck 1: 1d54 ⇒ 32 The Owl (One-time ability to scry on anything, but it becomes immediately aware of my scrying)
Deck 2: 1d54 ⇒ 53 The Waxworks (1d6 antagonists identical to myself... no thanks.) Redrawing
Will Save (DC 20): 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (9) + 53 = 62
Deck 2 Redraw: 1d54 ⇒ 16 The Foreign Trader (Trade years of life for items. Immortals just get a new card)
The Foreign Trader Card: 1d54 ⇒ 8 The Courtesan (A magic item become intelligent. My favorite item would be my implanted spring blade. I'll roll for its abilities, but if you want to do it yourself, DM, go right ahead. This is just to save time and headaches on your part.
Purpose: 1d100 ⇒ 50 Defeat non-spellcasters... Okay?
Alignment: 1d100 ⇒ 94 Neutral. That's lucky.
*Uses Wish to change alignment to N from LN* I was considering it anyway.
Powers: 1d100 ⇒ 25 At-will magic aura on itself. Handy.
Dedicated Powers: 1d100 ⇒ 83 At-will 7th level spell.
Arcane, Divine, Psychic: 1d3 ⇒ 3
67 7th-level psychic spells on Archives of Nethys
Which one?: 1d67 ⇒ 66 Waves of Exhaustion. Nifty.
So, item stats: N Spring Blade, wants to defeat non-spellcasters, at-will magic aura (self only) and waves of exhaustion, Ego of 13.
Deck 3: 1d54 ⇒ 15 The Fiend (Powerful evil outsider wants to destroy me... no thanks.) Redrawing.
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (11) + 53 = 64
Deck 3 Redraw: 1d54 ⇒ 29 The Marriage (A genie wants to marry me... Not really interested.) Redrawing.
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (13) + 53 = 66
Deck 3 Redraw 2: 1d54 ⇒ 21 The Idiot (lower mental ability scores... no thanks) redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (12) + 53 = 65
Deck 3 Redraw 3: 1d54 ⇒ 50 The Uprising (I get commoner followers. Not really interested) Redrawing.
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (17) + 53 = 70
Deck 3 Redraw 4: 1d54 ⇒ 2 The Bear (Become a werebear. As cool as it would be to get an extra template, I'm not really feeling the -2 Cha.) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (4) + 53 = 57
Deck 3 Redraw 5: 1d54 ⇒ 23 The Joke (An ally gets the benefit of a card... too much hassle to deal with) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (12) + 53 = 65
Deck 3 Redraw 6: 1d54 ⇒ 45 The Teamster (Get Geas/quest'ed into obeying a powerful being. There are better cards) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (6) + 53 = 59
Deck 3 Redraw 7: 1d54 ⇒ 6 The Brass Dwarf (Gain immunity to one element of my choice, vulnerability to another of the GM's choice. Fire Immunity. I like that.)

Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (12) + 53 = 65
Deck 4 Redraw: 1d54 ⇒ 42 The Snakebite (Constant poisoning touch. Useful, but a headache) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (18) + 53 = 71
Deck 4 Redraw 2: 1d54 ⇒ 6 The Brass Dwarf (Again. I'll go with Sonic this time. Another vulnerability as well, I guess.)
Last deck: (this one has the powers of a standard Deck of Many things, so 22 cards)
Deck 5: 1d22 ⇒ 8 The Gem (I get treasure... but I don't really need money)Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (16) + 53 = 69
Deck 5 Redraw: 1d22 ⇒ 15 Ruin (Lose all treasure... no thanks.) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (18) + 53 = 71
Deck 5 Redraw 2: 1d22 ⇒ 14 Rogue (I don't have really any friends aside from Ixivixi and my eidolon. In any case, there are better cards.) Redrawing
Will Save: 1d20 + 53 ⇒ (15) + 53 = 68
Deck 5 Redraw 3: 1d22 ⇒ 20 The Throne (+6 to diplomacy and a free castle in my demiplane? Sure.)
Greetings again, small dragon. Are you ready to embark upon our adventure?
Assuming Ixivixi doesn't protest, Eglian motions with his hands, and the world fades away again, re-materializing into a large, open grassy field. Suddenly, a large castle materializes in the middle of the area.
Using Wish to duplicate Create Demiplane. The castle is from my card draws.
"This can serve as our base. I don't particularly trust our employer. If you'd give me a moment..." The human-like figure is suddenly gone, replaced by a small being not much bigger than Ixivixi, flying on a pair of celestial wings. It seems to be made of living, though purple, rock, and is crackling with violet lightning. Eglian pulls out some diamond dust and scatters it, and the surroundings glow for an instant.
Using Wish to duplicate Permanancy to make the demiplane permanent. I loaded up on diamond dust for this very reason.

As they were shopping, the two ran into each other occasionally, as they ended up at the same shops looking for the same items. Not enough that they seemed to merely be copying each other, but enough to confirm that great mind think alike.
Ixi doesn't seem surprised at the transformation, but that's because he already saw Egalian's true form within his other shape. He watches the flipping cards and possibilities with glee.
"Oh, I think I'm ready for anything."

Eglian 代 |

"Hm. Interesting."
Eglian spends a few minutes familiarizing himself with any different rules of this dimension that he can think to check, and looks around.
Perception: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28
Once he's looked around, he turns to Ixivixi, only a little smaller than himself in his natural form, "Let me know if you desire any protective magic. I have plenty to spare." He extends a hand, crackling with purple lightning, to the pocket-sized dragon, and (after bestowing any buffs requested, including casting greater invisibility on both of them), wishes them to the edge of the town.

DM Forgedawn |

The rules for this dimension are identical to the material plane.
Upon reaching the edge of the village, you see groups of children running through the streets happily. You hear the loud ring of the forge, and the shouts of a merchant advertising his goods in the town square. Despite the noise, the village is peaceful and relaxing.

IxivixI |

"Greater invisibility? That one's hardcoded in my genes. Plus, it's nigh-useless against divination or blindsight. Impenetrable Veil is much more useful for hiding. Longer lasting, too. Nine Lives is also quite generally useful as well. Give me a second, I wouldn't want your casting to be wasted."
He will turn off his Antimagic Ward before any casting.

IxivixI |

Impenetrable Veil, Moment of Prescience, Greater Prying Eyes, Greater False Life, Nondetection, Greater Stunning Barrier, Greensight, Adoration, Fickle Winds. That should do it. I assume this is at the caster level 41?

IxivixI |

Ixi will roll his eyes at the idea of hiding now. Now that Eglian has become big enough, he will settle on his shoulder. That being the proper place for a shoulder dragon. This way he makes Eglian look much more impressive, while Ixi's cuteness makes him look accessible.
That's also the benefit of Impenetrable Veil. It lets me hide really well when I want to and it lets me be seen when I don't care to stealth.

Eglian folds the map and puts it in his pocket. Then, after a quick wish to know where the elder is, and switching out his installed skillchip to diplomacy (waiting to recover), the disguised promethean makes his way to the elder, and, upon meeting him, inclines his head in greeting.
"Greetings. My name is Eglian, and this is Ixivixi. We are part of an artifact retrieval agency, and have been contracted to find one such located nearby. From our information, you might be able to help us in our search? We can make it worth your time."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 23 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 23 + 10 = 36
Wish to reroll.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 23 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 23 + 10 = 38
