Not gonna lie, I'm really enjoying playing up the xenophobia of the non-Talovet Kish. It's excellent.

Also, the author trapped the door to a dungeon's boss fight and that's so evil. There's nothing like removing all of the SP of a party's tank RIGHT before a big fight.

Yeah, the 18 KAC on a front liner doesn't help... But I also imagine Pippimi as a quick moving ball of metal that wraps up the closest foe so... she's not normally the first target of an enemy.

Oh, I partied. Might finally have recovered apart from a knee I hurt slipping on stairs on a heaving ferry (totally sober). Doesn't seem to be a torn ACL, but certainly strained.

Makes running off the 5 lbs I gained in booze and seafood last week difficult. At least I can still hit the heavy bag.

It is a great map. Sorry about the sparse posting, had my usual battle with spring thaw basement flooding for the past few days.

I do like this map, and am tempted just to let my jetpack fail just to get that sweet sweet memorial. Plus this AP needs some attrition, we are just too awesome for dramatic needs.

Speaking of jetpacks, is there a lift limit to them? Can we ferry people across?

A jetpack can’t lift you if you’re encumbered. So it's all about your own strength. Which is harder than it sounds, since 10 pounds is 1 bulk (I think? I can't find the reference anymore...) and you can only carry up to half your bulk before you hit Encumbered.

So for example Davrin, a halfling, is 3 bulk himself and then you have to add everything he's carrying.

Sounds crazy, which is par for the times.

We are fine here, might need to do the same for my wife in a bit (she works in healthcare, but not Frontline). Allowing her time to work in her office all day without our two little kids distracting her will be a task.

But if that's the difficulty, then I'm lucky and blessed.

It's been an ongoing thing. The previous owners screwed us on a fix that was useless but technically correct by the contract when we moved in years ago, cost us $9K to sort out. This other wall has needed the fix ever since, but we've put it off until we had to fix it.

Even so it's just an issue with spring thaw, we had over a foot of snow across our whole yard melt in a week of rain, so water was ... plentiful.

We'll get our third sump pit installed and hopefully finally have it all done right.

Them's the breaks when you choose to live on what should be a swamp, nice neighborhood and lake are worth it.

Would the line effect of my plasma rifle be advantageous over swarms like spray weapons?

Yep line weapons and automatic weapons are effective. It's just single target ones that do zero damage.

I don't recall us looting any explode weapons anywhere, but those would be even better (1.5x dmg). I think the only blast weapons we found were a while ago.

Alright, Davrin has levelled up. Nothing terribly exciting. He can now attack 3 times a turn when he makes a full attack, but not likely to do that much since trick attack would do more damage. He also has field medicine so can recover some hp.

More BAB, saves, HP/SP etc. The only new class feature is an extra combat feat. That's going to Adaptive Fighting - Pippimi will be able to pick up Improved Disarm, Improved Bull Rush or Close Combat for 1 minute by spending a move action.

Ninth level is a juicier one.

Soooooooo. With this shiny new Dragonkin boon I know the idea I want for my character but I have to choose a person to bond with permanently until they die. Anyone going to be making a new Starfinder Society character that wants to always team up with him.

Biohacker that joined the Wayfinders to find more...subj-p-patients. He uses his already impressive reach with a capture pole to make it absurd as he injects and collars enemies.

1. Yupp, Zulu, it certainly does seem like this AP has a lot of disease and poison! (Confession, I added the poison to the first fight on this planet, because those archaic bows didn't look like they'd be much threat at all. I've since changed that to extra damage, which seems more fair.) Starfinder does seem to have more disease and poison than Pathfinder, but this AP definitely has more than usual.

2. I'm sorry, Zoran, your Envoy heart must be bleeding right now. I couldn't let you get a word out, it would have ruined my beautiful cinematic moment! I definitely am prone to the the typical GM "2 minutes of evil villain monologue happens during the 6 second surprise round" problem. If it makes you feel better... kill the demon first and you can convince the kish to surrender. :)

3. Also, it's been 6 weeks since Clank has posted. It's a hard time for everyone, but that's a bit extravagant. I'll be reaching out to him and seeing if he wishes to continue in this group. I'll keep you all updated; if I don't hear from him in the next two weeks we'll be a 5 person group from now on. Just wanted to keep you all up to date!

No, it is totally fine. If plans worked all the time they wouldn't be exciting plus I didn't think they would just listen right away even if they didn't want to summon some demonic entity to crush us.
