Besides the aforemented monk changes that you'll need to impliment (If you want - you don't have to, but they are better!), there seems to be a slight error with your favored bonuses. Although up at the top it lists you as having +1 hp/+1 skill point, in both your hp and your skill sections it shows you as having +2 hp and +2 skill points - this is a relic from you being just a Magus, I'm assuming, aye?
In addition, if you would please make sure you list that you're a Spire Defender and a Card Caster, that would make my job easier at remembering it thusly.
In addition, it appears you took max Hp for both of your levels - the character creation meant that only for the first level you gain max Hp, I had forgotten to mention that it doesn't count for your second level. As a result, please either roll or take average +1 for whichever class you chose as your second level's class.
And the final thing is that if you would please make sure that both your Immunities and SR are listed under 'Defensive', that would be great. Otherwise, I won't be able to remember to apply them 90% of the time XD
Just copy and paste this under your saves:
[.b]Immunities[./b] Sleep; [.b]SR[./b] 8
(Dont' forget to remove the . in the brackets to enable the bold lettering.)
Also, add this right after your saves:
+2 vs Enchantment
No bolding or anything necessary there.

As for the lore! I like it overall, it explains why you as a Drow are on the surface. However, I would like to let you know that the Drow are the ones who caused the Second Earthfall - so they would have known exactly when to strike. Overall, it wouldn't change the story, but instead of "Oh, this is the perfect time to strike!" its more like "Thats the signal! Strike!". :P
I am curious how he ended up with the Cyphermages, though. Not that its especially difficult to understand, considering he's power hungry and.. well, they have power.

I took the Nemesis story feat, giving him 2 favored class benefits each level instead of one. Since Drow don't have any other fancy Magus favored class bonuses it'll be hp/skill pt at each level....but you are correct sir, he only has 1 level in his favored class so Ive got to correct that.

about half way up page 12 I posted as Zeltresh and rolled 1d8 for the lvl2 hp......and got really lucky!
I'll make all the other tweaks/edits to get him ready to go.

Yeah that's what I was thinking: after a few decades in the city its pretty clear that the Cyphermages are the best gig in town when it comes to uncovering ancient artifacts of power....

DM Crustypeanut |

I actually didn't spot any mechanical errors, so no complaints there!
As for the lore, it looks good with his relatively mysterious past, but the big thing is how did he join the Cyphermages?

Alexin Alazario |

Yeah, as long as it's near me I get that. If it should be far away, which will probably never happen, granted, it goes away. I forgot to tick the box on HeroLab when I output the statblock, so it didn't get added.
I'll get the actual backstory written today hopefully too. Long day yesterday.

Tarrana |

I think she'll turn out to be something of a Desna worshiping flower girl who sees the current problems as simply an age of bad like many other ages of bad before.

Radyx Felston |

In all seriousness, looking into what I can buy me with my gold.
Quick question, as I've never had it come up before...
If I want a Masterwork Bladed Shield, that added the +1 to hit like a weapon, I assume I'd have to pay the 350 cost, but if I also wanted the Masterwork armor quality of -1 ACP, would I need to pay the 150 for that masterwork quality as well? I assume so, but double checking.
Also: I assume selling gear gets us half it's value as usual, right? Or is it different now that it's Greed Central?

Radyx Felston |

This is the loot we have found thus far that we have found that hasn't been claimed (according to loot tracker). Does anyone want ANY of this? If not I say we sell it and divide the cash. I know I called dibs on the shield, but if didn't take it in actuality cause I'd just sell it anyway, so it's still in the pot if someone wants to use it.

Valko van Richten |

Moving this discussion here:
Not only does carrying the shard (Not necessarily wielding it!) grant you a +2 insight bonus to all skills and a +2 insight bonus vs Illusion spells, but it also allows you to cast Major Image once per day using your character level as the caster level.
In addition, the Scarlet and Blue Ioun Stone imbedded within it still works for whomever is holding it - as a result, by holding it you gain a +2 enhancement bonus to your Intelligence Score. The skill the stone is linked to is Knowledge(History), granting you full ranks in that skill as long as you hold the shard. However, the bonus to intelligence is only considered a temporary bonus until the first 24 hours of you carrying it has passed, so you gain no additional extracts per day until after the 24 hours are gone.
Removing the Ioun Stone from the shard destroys the stone.
I would super-awesome-love to keep this for Valko if there are no objections. He's a skill monkey whose primary ability score is INT, so it's right up his alley (no, not that alley).

Valko van Richten |

Also, in regards to the valuables we recovered (including the garnets Valko pilfered) I can spend time appraising them this in-game night.
I can identify any potions or alchemical items by holding them for 1 round and making a Craft: Alchemy check (Take 10 gets me a 20).

Alexin Alazario |

From what I read when researching options for Kala, you have to pay for both masterworkings on a shield. You also have to pay for both kinds of enchanting unless you have the Shield Master feat. If you want offensive enchants (other than the flat +1 through +5, Bashing, Ghost Touch (don't get this as defensive: it costs +3 as a defensive enchant, but only +1 as an offensive enchant), and Dancing(there might be others that are both offensive and defensive) you still have to enchant it as a weapon even with Shield Master.

Alexin Alazario |

Ok, background is mostly complete. All the parts are there but it still needs a bit of fleshing out (especially the end, and about the Cyphermages), but I need to go to bed.

Valko van Richten |

Cautionary tale to the newbloods: Valko is a douchebag, unlike his totally awesome player. Also, he's a frail little child in combat. Please be gentle.

DM Crustypeanut |

Heads up for the 3 new guys:
You guys (Alexis, Tarrana, and Remi) have already worked together as a team for the Cyphermages, having recently completed your first mission for Taros - you three thus already wear the Brand of the Cyphermages. The fourth member of your team, a half-crazed Shoanti Bloodrager, died during your mission after having been lit on fire and subsequently drowned in a pit of sewage as he tried to put himself out. The pit was deeper than he thought, and he couldn't swim. You guys didn't bother fishing the body out, considering it sunk to the bottom due to his armor.
Although the mission itself is irrelevant, it did have to do with a rising guild of goblin thieves lead by a bugbear in the Magnimar Sewers. (See 'Rise of the Goblin Guild' Season 4 PFS Scenario) The little bastards had stolen something of yours from the Cypherlodge, thus causing the chase that lead you to the guild. (Taros briefly mentioned as such earlier in the campaign, for those paying attention! :P)
Although you can post in the gameplay thread to make sure the campaign is listed in your active campaigns, keep it to an OOC post like Alexis did.
I'll let you guys know when you three can post - I'm going to introduce you three all at once, so I'm waiting for everyone to finish their characters.

DM Crustypeanut |

Oh and Radyx: Alexis is correct about the shield. The shield and the shield spikes (or shield blades in your case) are separate purchases, even if they're one item. All upgrades, including Mwk and enchantments, are paid for separately.
One would be based on the price for armor (The shield) and the other would use the price for weapons (The shield spikes/blades). They can be enchanted separately too, so you could have a +2 light fortification shield with +1 flaming shield spikes. The former would count as a +2 shield, while the latter would count as a +1 weapon.

Hoosible Drybriar |

I think we'll need to know what the bracers and red liquids are. I suggest keeping all CLW potions, divided amongst us.
I suspect someone (maybe Ferit?) Wants the armor. Otherwise, sell it!
Might be worth selling the blood reservoir too. If one of the front liners wanted it it's worth keeping for the boost to damage, but probably not worth keeping just as protection from physical ability damage to Hoosible...

I also have 4 garnets and a fancy dagger from the paradox box I need to appraise. I'll be putting the garnets back into the shared loot pile, btw, given the change in Drawback/Traits. Probably keeping the dagger, assuming it's mwk.

Tarrana |

Tarrana |

Crunch was messed up for soem reason. Must not have saved. Fixed now.
While her caretakers (both elven and human) were kind she found the strict rules and routines chafing to her sensibilities. By 12 her connection to the other world of spirits had grown to a point where she had a vision as to who her father was.
Fleeing the orphanage and eventually coming across her father she presented herself to him as his daughter. Savagely beaten and left for dead on the side of the road she always felt that was the moment where she developed her fatalistic viewpoint of the world.
Taking refuge by traveling from village to village and doing oddjobs here and there Tarrana took to the worship of Pharasma and used her talents to make a quick few gold pieces and flee whatever vilage and town she was in before fate inevitably caught up with her and threatened violence and death once more.
Convinced that death and misery was her fate and ultimate end she came across a group of monks making a pilgrimage through the mountains to meditate upon the heavens and fast for a full month. Worshipers of the Empyreal lord Korada she followed them for a time and watched as they bore whatever terror they came across with pure serenity.
From them she learned that whether or not there was such a thing as multiple paths during the journey of life it is up to her to decide the shape of herself as she passes through it. No man or spirit had better control of herself than herself and thus she should learn to accept that the only real choices she had all involved how she reacted to the world and handled the consequences.
This changed the way she thought in many ways. Fate may not be malleable but how one meets it is entirely her own choice and in the end judgment is based nto on what her fate is but how she comes to it.
Ever since she has used her skills and her connection with the spirits mostly to serve herself. Taking the horrors of the world with a stoic calmness she understands that her fate is entirely her own and no matter what ancient terror or terrible villain arises Pharasma meets all things at the end of their lives.
Soemthign quick and dirty to build on later so we can go ahead and get introduced. I don't want to hold people back.

DM Crustypeanut |

Done, Wilhem.
As for the three new people - be patient, I'm going to introduce you guys soon enough!
For everyone else: I'm going to be counting up all of the loots' value here shortly and dividing up shares, and then we can do the whole 'buy something you want from the items with your share' thing mentioned a while back here in the discussion thread.
The only exceptions will be healing potions (Which will be handed out fairly and any leftovers will be given to those who want them) and healing wands, which Wilhem will be giving back to the group, since he snagged the one found earlier in the campaign. That will be group property I'd say and given to who can make the best of it for the team.
A fair word of warning right now, is that this campaign will be rather loot heavy (Its a classic dungeon crawl campaign after all!), so we'll need to get a good system for handling loot done sooner rather than later. Unless anyone objects, as a DM the above mentioned system works best for me - but if you guys have another system you'd like, don't hesitate to let me know.

DM Crustypeanut |

Alright everyone! I've gone and reworked the loot tracker to now include the sell price and your total share before claimed items.
The tally comes out to: 871 gp, 4 sp, 7 cp each (I did not include Wilhem, Isroth, or Al'cazar in this)
There are also 11 Potions of Cure Light Wounds available (2 per person, plus one extra) and a Wand of Infernal Healing with 21 charges remaining. These do not come out of your share (Even the spare potion) and you guys can decide who uses the wand, for the betterment of the group.
Anyone interested in any of the loot can pay the sell price for it - that comes out of their share. Although, I did not include the Amulet of Natural Armor in the sell-value of the loot, since we had agreed beforehand that we'd roll for that one before we decided on this loot system- I'd feel it would be unfair to Radyx since he rolled fairly and won it, but we'll be doing it this way from now on.
If anyone wishes to buy something(s) that end up costing more than their share allows, they'll go into the negative and will have to give up a portion of their next share to pay for it. If there are two or more people who want a particular item, you can either roll for it (though you still pay out of your share for it) or you can decide something between yourselves.
In addition, everyone (Except the three new guys) gets 950 gold from Taros for bringing back Natalya alive.
Therefore, in all, the 5 remaining original party members get:
871 gp, 4 sp, 7 cp each (Your portion of the Loot)
950 gold (Reward from Taros)
2 Potions of Cure Light Wounds
With 1 Potions of Cure Light Wounds and a Wand of Infernal Healing with 21 charges that can be claimed for free by whomever - both are essentially to be used for the group's benefit, so its up to you guys to figure out who gets what.

DM Crustypeanut |

Now, if you guys want, we can do it a slightly alternative way:
Instead of dumping everything into the loot pool and buying things with your shares, we can only dump things no one claims into the loot pool to sell. Although this may mean some people get more loot than others, it does help to ensure more things go to use.
What would you guys prefer?
Now that I think about it, this way would be helluva 'lot easier, as there would be no 'buying with shares' bit going on.

Hoosible Drybriar |

I vote for option 1 (everyone can claim loot at the sell price). That still gives incentive to make use of the stuff we find (since stuff we keep is worth 2x as much). I think the second option can turn into a severe penalty on those who don't happen to get lucky in the loot lottery.
BTW, I really like what you've done with the tracker. If you look at sheet 2 on the loot tracker I made for Thron's RotR you'll see that I've added a way to see what's gone to who as well. (You'll also see that it's not up to date anymore. sigh.)

Charbonardent |

Prefer option 1.
Charbonardent would be interested in the alchy fire. He likes fire. Maybe a MW backpack if no one wants it.
We should keep all that achy stuff, although Charbonardent wouldn't be the best thrower.

Radyx Felston |

Spending a net total of 799 gp, 5 sp.
Purchasing masterwork handaxe and a masterwork heavy bladed steel shield with masterwork shield blade.
Selling my battleaxe and lt wooden shield.
I'll make a gameplay post about it soon.
