Have not been asked to. As far as I know, I have to deal with tracking down Daverone, meet with the Arch-Priestess, send coin to Rogr to help with the Ghoere issue, and keep my country together. I only have so many actions each round and right now I am using them to increase my actions and increase my coin to help make this a little easier. My personal action had to be used on one of these options, so I chose to deal with the Arch-Priestess instead of snubbing her at this time. If you want I can ignore events and help Rogr exclusively if that would be better.

Lol, of course. Just trying to make sure I understand the situation. As far as I knew Lady Barad only knows that Rogr is dealing with pirates off the coast of Medeore. Nothing she has been informed of has anything to do with El-Hadid himself so ousting him kind of comes out of left field.
Before tending to his own affairs, the count takes the time to receive El-Hadid in his hall, to listen to his troubles and, if at all possible, come to his aid.
"Greetings," Aglondier addresses the merchant with respect and decorum. "I welcome you into the hall of my ancestors. Peace be upon you and yours."
Aglondier's smile is sincere: this is one of his realm's most influential men and he certainly hopes that this will be the first of many friendly discussions!
"Greetings, Count," said El-Hadid. "Pirates are plaguing my shipping lines from Ariya and I need help in eradicating them."
"Masela looks kindly upon our people, but the seas are treacherous," Aglondier comments, nodding. "What do you know of these pirates? Do you know where they lay anchor? Surely, you know something about their numbers, their captains, and their affiliations?"
"I do not know where they whey anchor. The pirates are said to whey anchor off of Tamle, but I know not for sure. They are hurting business, and my sources say that their are two pirate ships attacking my galleys and zebecs," El-hadid said all this in three breaths.
"Pirates anchored off the Tamle," the Count echoes, reflecting upon the matter. "Mounting a proper investigation and attack would require some means, which I must admit, albeit reluctantly, Ilien does not have. I will speak plainly as you have: I am prepared to come to your assistance if you agree to pay tribute and finance the expedition."
"How much do you need?" asked El-Hadid.
"I risk losing a ship and, more importantly, the lives of good men," Aglondier sets the stage. "I will need twenty gold bars – and I will oversee the mission myself."
"You shall have the twenty gold bars," said El-Hadid. "I just want the pirates stopped."
"That is settled then," Aglondier nods. "You may deliver the gold bars to Chamberlain Conor Ja'teem, upon which I will mount the expedition."
With that, the Count gives the merchant leave to go and turns his attention to other affairs.
He delivers all of the Gold Bars you need to mount the expedition. He's still acknowledges you as his sovereign.
