Just so you know, you are ignoring a plot hook in the last post, and if you head back to Magnimar right now you will pretty much miss the conclusion to this particular section of the AP.

Oh yeah, and quite a few hundred towns people will die.

But do what you like.

Unnamed

oh crap thats right, i did see that, but forgot int he midst of the loot math and replacement discussion

Unnamed

EDITED loot

Each person gets 9,250

Party loot is 2199.

I highlighted everything that has been dealt with in Yellow, once we wrap up the next part I will add on.

Unnamed

so everyone put 9250 in your coffers

Alrighty well let me redact my purchases and knock my ac back down to 26.. No biggie..

Unnamed

sorry about that, guys, i accidentally divided by three instead of 4. I didn't count myself like an idiot. Not that it matters we don't get any purchases now.

Shame we didn't find any scrolls.

DM one of the folks I contacted said no

dude halfling

Tirion has been level'd to 9: he finally has Deadly Aim!

also, second thoughts about keeping 2 of the wands he's carrying: if we can sell 'em, might as market the wand o' Ray of Enfeeblement (should fetch 375gp) and the Wand o' Acid Arrow (half price with 45 charges would be 2,025gp). Boosting party loot by 2,400gp would give us enough to buy a wand of Cure Moderate Wounds, which could be very handy for us...

Unnamed

I would probably keep the acid arrow...but i agree with tehe enfeeblement.

The cure mod wand will go farther than the acid arrow wand. We have plenty of ranged firepower.

Unnamed

OK, I see Tirion adding it to the sheet

Also just noticed you have your piranha strike at -3/+6. You need +8 bab to get that. I believe you are still at -2/+4..

dude halfling

I don't see Tirion ever using the acid arrow wand over the wand o' Magic Missiles: in two rounds, he can do 4d4+4 instead of just 4d4; the party gains more value by selling it. We really need healing...

Also, Tirion might as well take one of the rings of Protection +1 -- he loves rings!

He gets word back to Williamson that he's hoping to save up enough money to procure Sniper Goggles -- perhaps our patron can make it easier to find some. In the meantime, the Eagle Eyes are very cool!

Rogues and ninjas get full BAB per Buzz's house rules

Well gosh darnit that's cool.. How bout Inquisitor's? Do they get full bab?

Are there any other house rules that might have forgot about and shouldn't have? lol

Unnamed

all up in the campaign tab, info

pretty sure they don't

Paladins got 4 skills
Fighter got 4 skills and 2 good saves
Rogues and ninjas get full BAB and Canny Defense

I missed the extra skills part.. Updated skills now.. Inquisitor wasn't on the list because it wasn't a usable class back then. With them having spells im pretty sure bab will stay 3/4.

You are correct, since they get spells, they stay at 3/4 BAB.

My view is that all martial classes should get full BAB, and really rogues and ninjas are martial classes.

Starting to wish i woulda went Warpriest for the quickend spells.. I guess i could always multi again after 5 levels of inquis lol..

Since I have little desire to do a new recruiting effort (to get another new person who will likely bail anyway or just not really show up as is so common on these forums), I present these options:

A) generate a suppot/healing on NPC who will tag along to keep you on your feet.
B) give mythic tiers (not sure if this would really work, and it could cause difficulties in other ways).

A is probably the better option of the two to be blunt, but I am willing to consider either. There is no way both will happen. If mythic happens, you are pretty much going to continue with only that for support. Would have to decide on an in-game excuse for it, and decide on the pacing of the tiers. The NPC is easy enough to throw in.

If Drain is willing to pick up Healing Bomb our heals would be taen care of, alothough his play style doesn't really lend to healing i dont think.

If we get just 1 npc i would say either a cleric, or a shaman speced to heal. A wizard/cleric/theurge could work also i suppose although it wouldnt nearly be as an effective healer.

Likely it will be an oracle (life) and I have the build in mind already as well as the NPC.

Just want to give the mythic option (since I did pay for the book).

Im open for whatever but we need a healer and if Drain isn't willing to be that then we gotta get it from somewhere..

And why not a Life Shaman? There alot stronger than Oracles.

Because I have not taken the time to full get the shaman rules yet. I understand life oracles and can whip one out right now. Also even the little I know shows that a shaman cannot channel.

Would you like me to build her then? Life Shaman's can most certainly channel energy.

Yall should check out The Archives of Nethys. It's better than PFSRD and has all the new classes, plus archtypes already.

I have the build made already. Also when you say 'stronger' it implies you think the NPC will actually fight. That will not be the case, the character will be pure support. It will heal and remove conditions.

Unnamed

I like option A. Not sure mythic would solve anything, other than make up for lost damage w less players

Life oracles are pretty bad ass

By stronger i mean it has a cleric's spell progression so would have 5th level spells, not 4th. Has the same channel energy life oracles has, has the same revelations life oracles has but also has access to other via wandering hex. Oh and they have witch's hex as well. It's just an overall stronger class than Oracles are.

They also have access to some arcane spells and can add even more via one of the lore hexes..

Guess I should read up on shamans then. Maybe I'll try a different build.

As for what mythic would do, it would make you harder to kill, and possibly make you more resistant to conditions. It would be a general ramping of power. Would that compensate for a lack of spells? Not sure.

dude halfling

yeah, oracles are lame! (or deaf, or they talks funny, or something like that...)

What about Kyra?

You want me to throw in the gimpy iconic? Put down that crack pipe.

dude halfling

A witch-doctor is a witch-doctor from Tirion's perspective (although Kyra would tend towards trying to fight, which isn't what we're after...) -- at least arcana is science!!

Being a nation in Garund, I can see the Alkenstar leadership recruiting a mwangi out of the jungles to the west to send up to us -- there's even some good role-playing fun to be had there!

Any recruits you get will be locals (if they are spellcasters). There is no reason to drag someone up from another continent.

dude halfling

I reckon <this classic tune> alone is sufficient reason to send us an exotic tribal shaman! (although Tirion would prefer not having to scoop his cold medicine from a monkey's skull...)

<this thread> notes "fateful channel" can be handy...

It could easily be a Half-Orc Shaman from the hills. Shaman's don't always have to come from the jungles.

Unnamed

I'm game for mythic for sure. I had not thought about the harder to kill aspect of it. That is a good point. Though if we are choosing one I would add the heal bot

I did just notice that the shaman's spells are based off wisdom and her channels are based off of charisma so that makes it a little mad.. The extra channel feat would make up for it easily though.. Or you could just house rule their channels work off of wisdom.

Or I could just build the life oracle like I planned and avoid the MAD altogether.

The witch doctor gets channel energy at -3 effective level for 3+cha mod per day. If you went Life in addition you'd have an additional 1+cha mod channels at full level..

26k buys you a +2 wis/cha headband of positve channeling to add +2d6 to all channels. Throw in a single extra channel and you'd have.

6/day 7d6 channels
6/day 5d6 channels

But do as you wish.

With a 20 point buy you could have:

str-10
dex-14
con-16(14+2 belt)
int-10
wis-20(15+2 race+1 level+2 headband)
cha-16(13+1 level+2 headband)

nothing s~+#ty about those stats for 9th level.

Reactive Healing
Quicken Channel
Flexible Hex
+1 other, prob another extra channel or accursed hex

Tiefling HP (104/104)
Stats:
AC/FF/T 34/29/19 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+18/+9 | Init +11

I've, never been keen on an alchemist. I can make up a cleric.

For the time being I will throw in the healer for the next little bit, then you can swap in a cleric of your own if you prefer.
