Zees |

The world according to Zees:
Malcolm - Go down
Kast - Clear upstairs
Zees - Clear upstairs
Gar - Holding stairway so we can clear upstairs
Dorin - Clear upstairs ("We shouldn't leave one up here")
Danaris - Last seen stabbing a dead goblin ;)
Of those that have expressed an opinion, it seems clear the majority are for clearing the upstairs. I plan on heading deeper into the upstairs once the map is up unless something changes.

Kast Phaer |

Kast looks at Malc with a question in his eyes.
"With all due respect, Malc, it's you who wants to ramble down alone looking for the 'boss'. Gar has stated that is willing to hold the stairwell, for that I am thankful."
Kast rubs his lame leg while he thinks about things, then straightens up, spear ready.
"Malc, my sense of duty isn't up for a vote. My job is to keep the citizens of this town safe. If you want to go down to get the boss for the glory of such, do so. My duty is clear. I'll be there to help you when I finish here."
On his turn, Kast will limp to P9, spear ready.
Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

Malcolm Cavendish |

Malcolm looks to the heavens and simply shakes his head.
Fine, then, let us all search this level. I just hope that Gar is not put in a bad situation as a result.
Kast, your words regarding my sense of duty lack all respect regardless of your pre-cursor. Be careful how your tongue wags, young friend.
Malcolm casually trots past the limping Kast to P-9 while scanning the room for enemies.

Danaris Krupt |

Let's see . . . so far I have . . . raced in front of 20 goblins, nearly dying in the process . . . resurrected two dead goblins . . shot at a wall . . . and now I am shooting at a dead goblin. I think my next action will be to die of embarrassment.
I'll try to figure out something useful to do right after Zees goes.

Zees |

Round 11 Initiative 19
Zees steps 5' to V9 and pushes the door in front of Kast all the way open--hopefully a goblin sighting will shut up Kast and Malcolm. Zees will fire his crossbow at any goblin he can see at this point. If he can't see one, he will ready to shoot the first one he sees.
Crossbow-BAB 0, Dex +2

Malcolm Cavendish |

Round 11, Initiative 13
Status:
Since we are not out of initiative, my previous action stands, I will reiterate below for convenience
Malcolm rushes to P9 in pursuit of the fleeing goblin (G8), passing the limping Kast on the way. Upon reaching P9, he will open the door to try and spot G8.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16

Round 12
Goblins initiative 22
Zees 19
Danaris 17
Malcolm 13
Kast 13
Gar 11
Dorin 7
The room you enter in was a dining room before the goblin tornado came in . It is now in total disarray . The lone goblin here is sobbing seeing you gaining on him , he again open a door and rush through .
To save time , I'll tell you he is going to end up in T10
Map as soon as it downloads ...

Danaris Krupt |

If the goblins just went, then it should be Zees turn. Though it does seem a bit confused up there.
Danaris will keep up with Malcolm and Kast, but allow them to enter the room with the goblin, staying behind with Zees (I think).

Malcolm Cavendish |

Malcolm rushes around the corner in pursuit of the fleeing goblin. Move to T11 and attack.

Return to your maker foul beast...may Abadar's light shine!

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar still awaits something coming up the stairs, or the group to go down...so likely next round by the sounds of it.
Way to go Malcolm. I approve of your method of releasing stress and frustration.

Kast Phaer |

On his next turn, Kast will continue the search of this floor. Double moving along and opening (and kicking open, as necessary) doors in a quick effort to scout for citizens and/or Amieko.
"Amieko! Knock, yell, scream if you are here."

Malcolm Cavendish |

Malcolm will reluctantly follow Kast from room to room on this level, carrying out a cursory search for Ameiko before returning directly to Gar and the others at the top of the stairs. He is planning to follow Gar down immediately upon gathering all others.

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar watches as the group reassembles. "No sign of the lass? Damn! Well then, follow me to the 'Boss'."
Gar will lead the way down, heading down the dark corridor he saw earlier.

Kast Phaer |

Kast appreciates the help in clearing this level.
Kast will take a few moments to read the chalkboard and call Zees over if it is written in an unfamiliar language.
* * *
After a quick look for survivors on all the rooms on the top level and checking out the chalkboard, Kast will be ready to go down the stairs.
"Dorin, thanks for the light...I'll need it."

'Gar' Duncrick |

If it is single file, it looks like:
Gar
Malcolm
Kast
Danaris
Dorin
Zees
Based on those with previous stated preferences (Gar, Malcolm, Danaris, Zees)
Gar will halt everyone at the bottom of the stairs and listen.
Perception ->1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Kast Phaer |

Agree with Gar on the marching order.
Kast grits his teeth as he feels the walls of the under-Glassworks press around him. He wonders how he will fight in such a narrow corridors.
Taking a moment, he removes his heavy shield from his back and attaches it to his left arm, stows his longspear, and re-arms himself with his morningstar.
I need more training with this shield...it does not feel right to me yet.

robin |
You progress into the sub basement , your senses alert but only silence greets you
It seems to Gar that this place was planned as bigger but the workers stopped excavating mayve once there was a cave in for fear of bringing the house down .
The cooridor turn and while the first door is closed , the second is not

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar will signal the others to hold for a moment. He will attempt to sneak up to the open door and corridor corner to see if he can sense anything.
Been awhile since I been a'tunneling. Can see why the Goblins would like it down here.
Stealth -> 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Perception -> 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Malcolm Cavendish |

After Gar investigates the open room, Malcolm will attempt to get his attention with gestures only. If Gar looks in his direction, he will raise his hands in a questioning manner, point to the others, and then motion towards the hallway. Malcolm will not advance until Gar gives the ok.

Kast Phaer |

Kast waits patiently for the signal to move up, tensing and releasing his leg muscles in an attempt to stay limber, but more out of a need to move.
Just come out and fight you cowards.

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar makes a big beckoning gesture that everyone should come, but holds a finger to his lips. He then moves ahead to listen at the double doors.
Perception -> 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Crud! I know they got to be in there...well we go in together.

Dorin Zstel |

We've got to find Ameiko! Dorin thinks furiously, but keeps quiet while the others are walking. He kept casting the Dancing Lights every so often to keep the underground corridor lit around Malcolm.
Stealth check: (natural without training)
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Perception check: (natural without training)
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 (Dorin can't see a thing behind Danaris!)

Malcolm Cavendish |

Malcolm moves cautiously down the hall, but he stops at the first closed door on his right and raises a fist so that the others do as well. He motions to Gar to come back and check that door before proceeding to his current position.
Stealth: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17
He listens at the closed door on the right, halfway down the hallway while he awaits Gar's arrival.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 2

'Gar' Duncrick |

Gar takes a quick look into the room (t24) to make sure no one is hiding behind a box, but he does not move anything, still trying to be quiet.
If he finds nothing, he moves on to the next door with the group in tow (W-24). He pauses to wipe the sweat from his hands and then opens that door.

'Gar' Duncrick |

Bedroll and coverlet? That doesn't sound like a Goblin. Is the Bedroll for a short person?
Gar's eyebrows come together in confusion. Who or what is sleeping down here? He moves to the last door. Looks to make sure everyone is ready. He holds up three fingers, then flashes one finger..two fingers, on three he opens the door.

Malcolm Cavendish |

Gar, let's turn the corner at the end of the hall and see what is left. Otherwise, we need to revisit every area and search for secret doors. We know that they are down here somewhere. They entered, and we watched the entrance until our exploration.

'Gar' Duncrick |

So I take it we are not missing anything obvious, like the passage in S19 does end there. Same with AA24. That all potential paths have been followed. Now we have to search out a hidden door or hole.
Gar feels his rage building, "Why won't these bastards fight?"
He has his hand above his eyes motioning that someone should search the previous room with the bedroll. He enters this last room and does a thorough search. (Takes a 10 for a 15 DC search of the walls and floor.)
