Moving the terrain discussion to the discussion thread:

Since it is called terrain, I think it will be based on where Kalt's feet are. If he is standing on Ice/Snow/Tundra, he gets the bonus. If he's standing on boards/dirt in a building, he won't, even if there is a snowstorm blowing outside.

Opinions?

When I'm DMing I tend to run things the same way Mez.

Seems reasonable - and when I go Horizon Walker, I'll be picking up new terrains all the time, so I'll have most of the likely terrains covered.

What if Avora summoned some snow for me to stand on?

hehe, Not unless she covers the room in the stuff. Having snow stuck to your boots won't grant the bonus either, just in case you were wondering.

True that, Sven. Might be worth picking up some Urban Boots, so indoors would count, especially with Guide and Horizon Walker abilities in favored terrain.

Valentines day went fairly well, since Kalt asked, but I could go for less snow says the GM of a RoW game... And work has gotten interesting with multiple incidents of people being escorted out by the EMTs. Also, my daughter turned 3 yesterday and we've been making the rounds of grandparents. I'm also on new medication, which will hopefully aleviate other things.

Update tonight.
My work computers encryption protocol became corrupted and now I'm on a loaner. Don't want to have a ie history full of paizo pages and typing on my phone is a pita.

I haven't even been on Paizo since my last message, too much going on and wife needed lots of help and work on top of that was smothering. But now the baby is out! woohoo! Everything is smooth sailing from here on out! ;)

I got a week off of work now and plan on catching up and getting things rolling again right soon.

Two days to go before we put on CoastCon. This is the big one for me (as I am the Game Room Director). I will try to check in on games I am involved with tomorrow and Thursday, but may not be able to do so. I will not be on at all Friday through Sunday. I should be able to resume normal posting on Monday. Please bot me as necessary.

Just checking in and saying I'm still alive. Between recovering wife and new baby my time has not been my own. I hope you don't have to replace me, but I've been gone awhile and if you're losing patience I understand. Things are slowly, SLOWLY normalizing for me though.

It was an awesome con! This was my wife's first year as Con Director, and for the most part, everything went smoothly. Everyone I've spoken to seemed to enjoy it.

Mike Brock (yes, THAT Mike Brock) was our Gaming Guest of Honor and spent every free moment at the Pathfinder tables, playing with the gamers. He was nothing short of fantastic! Terrific guy, as well. He had some great stories about GenCon and PaizoCon.

My wife, Gods bless her, put her money where her mouth is. Our charity is the Pink Hearts Fund, a group that provides wigs, breast prostheses, and other medical supplies to those recovering or suffering from various diseases, free of charge.

My lovely and kind wife stepped up and put her hair into our charity auction, taking bids to allow it to be cut. In the end, she raised $500 for the charity AND then donated the cut hair to make a child's wig! Bugsby - you're pretty darn irreplaceable, so I hope you'll be able to find some time to jump in every now and then. But I'll tell you, if you think your life is normalizing already so soon after having a baby arrive in your life, then here's the truth of the matter:

Here's a question, prompted by Lana's hookin' me up wif da life link:

How does Life Link interact with Fey Foundling? The feat says "Your strange connection to the First World and the fey infuses you with life, and whenever you receive magical healing, you heal an additional 2 points per die rolled."

Life Link doesn't involve a die roll, so RAW could mean that the feat provides no benefit. But Life Link is a supernatural ability that provides magical healing to the linked person, so it would be consistent with the spirit of Fey Foundling for it to give some boost to the linkee. Maybe just a straight two points extra? Or does having an uneven hp exchange between the oracle and their link-buddy create some sort of cosmic imbalance that I'm not seeing?

I'm going to say no on the grounds that it opens up a world of potential issues.

The biggest would be if Kalt finds a way to get fast healing. Based on your logic fast healing 1 would become fast healing 3 and what not. I just see a potential snow ball effect if EVERY magical healing effect got boosted.

I think we're waiting on Avora and Bugsby.

It's been well over 24 hrs. Opinions on actions for Ankih/Bugsby? Avora will just try that steal breath spell again.

Wow, the dice were on fire that round! That was what, 2 dice less than 10 out of like 15 rolls... nutty.

We are lookin a little wounded. I can burst heal but without selective channeling it will heal them as well....

I'd try a burning hands. If we can clear out the minions Lana can channel.

Produce flame and a melee touch would be good.
