Cael does reposte. It costs 1 panache to parry, if you still have panache after that then the reposte is free.
I believe I've only parried once, this would be a second time. Which would leave me at 2 panache. If I missed another parry let me know. I did recover 1 panache earlier when I landed a critical hit on the tenticle thingy. That might be where the confusion is.
Also I only spend panache to parry if I am actually attacked. I put it into posts without knowing if I'm attacked just to keep from slowing the game down.
Foxglove Manor
Oh, ok.
I've aways thought riposting costed a second panache point after parrying. Good to know.

It kinda does in a way. You can't reposte if you don't have at least 1 panache, so you almost never parry once you're down to 1 panache.

A panicked creature must drop anything it holds and flee at top speed from the source of its fear, as well as any other dangers it encounters, along a random path. It can’t take any other actions. In addition, the creature takes a –2 penalty on all saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. If cornered, a panicked creature cowers and does not attack, typically using the total defense action in combat. A panicked creature can use special abilities, including spells, to flee; indeed, the creature must use such means if they are the only way to escape.
I would say once we are in the hall we aren't going to flee since we away from the source of our fear. Looking at the map we are probably far enough away to not flee anymore but just cower.
Also we have dropped our weapons which are back at the door to that room.

Foxglove Manor
I would agree if it was based on the hound's presence or appearance. But the howl is the thing making you panicked, and the description states that howl goes 300ft and can turn corners and such. I can't imagine a panicked character would feel safe and stay put while being able to hear the source of his fear and knowing it is just a few seconds away from finding them.

Which is totally fine, so we double moved each round to 300' away so we are basically across the bridge? ahah

Norm, I don't know of any restriction on a 5ft step due to corners. I could be wrong, I frequently find out that me and the groups I've played with have missed some obscure rule, but I think you should be good.

Around creatures, it's not generally a problem, but you can not 5-foot step around a hard corner (like a wall or door, etc).

A lot of forums have notifications, so it shouldn't be impossible to do. Most also have the option of either getting one a day or one every time there's a post.
