That still leaves 306 gp in the party fund.

Ansgar got the +1 bastard sword and the +1 breastplate, but has put his scale mail in the loot pile.

Cael got the warhorse and an everburning torch

Quiary got a Masterwork composite longbow (Str+3) and 40 regular arrows

Norm got a pair of masterwork manacles

Zelinda has yet to claim anything.

(Torch, arrows and manacles are "party items" that don't count as part of the loot)

There is still a Potion of cure moderate wounds that noone is carrying. Think maybe it should go to someone in front?
(this is also a party item that won't count towards the person share)

One last question for the GM:
We have found some gems, a dress and two holy symbols. I've put them in as gear and noted them as sold for 50% of their value. Is that correct or would we get full price for those kind of things?

I don't remember much about the dress, but for some reason I thought it was a wedding dress. She could honestly take it or leave it. If it's worth a fair bit, then sell if for the group, but if it's not worth too much, then she may consider hanging onto it.

I'll get a shopping list up soon, but I think that she's mostly going to upgrade her sword and shield.

Hmm, that could be discussed.

Personally, when we are talking about something we buy, I would normally use it for healing, like potion, wands and raise dead.

When we are talking about stuff we find, I also include stuff that is either single use or generel utility, like rope and sunrods, as this is something we, as a team, just as well could keep, but it wouldn't be fair to say that it should be part of the loot for the person that by chance is carrying the item.

One argument that could go both ways is that it is fairly cheap items, so it doesn't have that big of an impact either way.

Of the items on your list, if we had found them, I would say that these where party items:
sunrod
silk rope
grappling hook
smokestacks
acid
alchemist fire
the scrolls.

Please note, this is my personal opinion, so don't hold back if you think we should do it some other way.

Zelinda: the dress is worth 150 gp, so it can be sold for 75. The description I have is "a fine blue silk gown with silver trim"

Well, since we are going to do it for all the way we agree on, you should say how you think we should do it.

The items we are talking about amounts to 178 in total.

Well, I think some consumables are worth buying as a group, but I understand that not everyone has the same valuation of such things. I think the easiest and probably best method is to leave it to Norm to make a judgement call on each item.

We all said we should get a Wand of CLW right away, it will help. I think Quiary needs a Cloak of Resistance right away since i keep failing saves and being useless.

Ok well for now I've assumed I'm on the hook for the consumables, and I trimmed it a smidge to get me under the cost.

Perform Oratory +10, so I should be able to tell a story quite well. I just need to starting point. Why would the sheriff want everyone who can use a bow or sling aside form an impending attack?

Aight, I'm back.

I know preparing to defend against a raid that didn't happen was probably very anti climatic for you all, but I didn't want to stop you and couldn't find a quicker way of showing that defeating Nualia was enough to stop the incoming raid.

I'm leaving some time for you to do more RP with NPCs or deal with any loose ends if you want to, but otherwise this marks the end of book 1.

Quiary is good to go

Good to go hear. My work load has increased some lately, but it shouldn't be to crazy, and should die down in the near future.

I love playing Zelinda. The biggest challenge is definitely going to be in finding her place (socially, rather than party-wise). I think she sees Ansgar as a bit of a potential mentor, but otherwise she feels like this group may be becoming a bit like her family in the caravan: someone to protect and have fun with.

Just checking, but did we officially sell the stuff on the loot sheet? If we haven't, this would be the best time to finalize who has what, sell loot, split gold, and clear out the unnecessary leftovers.

Zelinda could make use of that Chain Shirt, if no one else claimed it.

I think, eventually, she's going to be looking at getting some light-weight Mithral Medium armor, but we're not quite there, yet.

It is sold. If you look in column E it says how much is "in stash". (and column H say how many is sold)
If there is anything left, it shows up green in column E. Only thing right now is a potion of cure moderate.

I'm sure that if we ask nicely, we can retcon it so you keep the chainshirt and 700 gp, instead of the 750 gp you got.
