Without spoiling the AP all I can do is suggest that chapter 2 is supposed to start in Sandpoint, but you should be fine even if you decide to stay in Magnimar as long as you enjoy some non-linearity.

Also, I strongly recommend you take some notes, maybe make a google doc where you can collectively check your leads and discoveries. The adventure is likely to take many months to end and you might forget things otherwise.

I've already started something in OneNote but never got very far with it. If we want to work with that, I'll need people's email address.

We could also set something up in Google doc. Probably not as easy to organize but easier to share. I could easily move what I got to Google doc if we decide to use that.

Since we're in the middle of an investigation-based adventure where this will likely be crucial, I want to clarify my procedures for perception, searching and knowledge checks:

- Knowledge checks are generally automatic and I'll put a spoiler tag for you to roll them as soon as needed. If failed you can either wait a day or try to research about the subject (usually on a library) to get another roll.

- And initial Perception or Survival check will be called for you can notice something just by glancing at the environment, this will be in the spoiler tags on my post as soon as you enter a room.

- If you want to, you can make a check to search the room more thoroughly, this represents the character actually walking around and actively searching the environment, possibly interacting with room. This is likely to find more things than automatic roll you get when entering a room.

- You can declare that you're investigating something specific rather than searching the whole room, doing this can be quicker, give you a bonus to your check or even an outright success depending on how specific you are.

- You can take 10 or 20 in any of these checks as per normal rules.

- The rules say it takes a move action for a perception check and 2 minutes for taking 20. I generally assume if you want to thoroughly search an entire building it takes a move action or 2 minutes for every 10 square feet in the space.

So, is everyone okay with this corona-mess? Been a while since we heard from Zelinda and Cael.

Here in Denmark, school and most shops are closed and gatherings of more than 10 is forbidden. Everyone is staying home as much as possible.
Pesonally, I don't know anyone that is sick yet, but we've had a few deaths (9, I believe, we are a small country with only 5.8 millions people)

Some of my friends were the first to get infected, got mild symptoms and are already recovering (luckily haven't had any contact with them for the last few months thanks to scheduling conflicts). My family and I are good Here in Canada, lots of stuff going on but in such a large country it will take longer for it to spread around as it does in the smaller countries. Hope everyone stays healthy

We're doing okay, also in Canada. I'm in Manitoba which has stayed steady at 17 cases for 3 days now. We've shut down everything pretty much and went into a state of emergency to force more closures.

Mainly just playing more video games than usual and going out for walks near/after dark when no one else is out to fight off boredom.
