Whether someone does probably doesn't have much of an effect right now since you're in Magnimar. Most of the stuff that you're likely able to afford is purchasable in the city. The base value (ie. the gold amount where everything of that price and lower can be assumed to be always available) is 12,800 gp.

Note that one of the two houserules for this campaign is that magic item crafting doesn't provide a discount, it only improves your availability.

Flo can scribe scrolls if that's what you're after! I'm a dummy and only realized a little while ago that means her domain spells can be scrollified too... which means she's going to write out a bunch of Fly scrolls with our latest haul :P

Ok, thanks Guiness! The Snakeskin Tunic is neato, Flo'll put it on if nobody else wants it (her belt item will be a con belt, so this is a nice way to get her dex up a little more). IMO, the ring is getting obsolete at this level since (once Flo gets to writing) we have Fly with some regularity. I think that Golembane Scarab is really good to have around. We have an adamantine weapon, but then someone else can get in on the fun too :)

The small bag had 200 platinum inside. The Syrpents Tale is worth 500 gold. Colvyn recognizes the poison as drow poison (it's all the same kind of poison).

We're not using unchained poisons, right? Colvyn I don't know if Erastil frowns on poison use but 14 arrows with a small chance to render someone unconscious seems alright to me.

And we don't have to use all of this. We're in a major city and can sell anything we don't want. In the spirit of which I think I'm actually going to sell the Impaler of Thorns. It's cool, but that despair ability is going to hurt my allies as much as my enemies which is less than ideal.

As far as a 4 or 5 way split, the GM said they were going to give GGG a week (from this past Thursday) to touch base with us. What if we split it 5 ways. If Kellek rejoins us, we toss him his share of the cash, if not, we can use that portion for some party consumables?

In the meantime, we have some potions of barkskin to either distribute or sell. The potions give +3 natural armor for 60 minutes, so they could be quite useful if we come to an area with lots of expected combats in a short period of time. We also have have 4 CMW potions. Perhaps each one of us gets a CMW potion and we distribute the Barkskin potions to those of use without natural armor enchantments already?

Then we have the ring of jumping, which would have been fabulous for Guiness this last combat, so maybe he can take that one? Next level he actually gains acrobatics as a class skill, so there is some hope he can jump with a positive modifier, as the +5 would compensate for his short legs (-4 jump due to 20' movement speed). With Kargas having the adamantine longsword, perhaps the golembane scarab can go to Colvyn, as I think it works for all weapon attacks (not just melee).

I also think the +1 mithril chain shirt and +1 buckler would be great for Colvyn, but they may not work since they are medium size...

What do you guys think?

No Barkskin for Flo!

She can use the +1 Buckler, if nobody wants it. Sold, it only nets us 100gp each (500 from selling, divided 5 ways), so I don't feel too bad about claiming it, BUT that's the third item and brings the total amount of the gear she's claimed to 19k... I don't think Flo has claimed much else, until now, but, at the least, it feels like quite a bit of loot.

I also notice the on the loot sheet that I get the golembane scarab? I though Kargas was getting that.

As for the poison, unless one as the poison use ability, you have as much chance of poisoning yourself than the target when you apply it to a weapon.

Colvyn, given that Kargas already has an adamantine weapon, I suggested that you get the scarab so you can be fully effective against golems should we encounter any. Not that Guiness would admit it, but both you and Kargas have significantly higher damage potential than he does at the moment, and that scarab works for any of your weapons (including bows).

Also, given that Kargas is not claiming much, I suggest he take all three barkskin potions.

Oh I was just thinking back to the last time we discussed loot division and how expensive the adamantine sword is, so I'd figured I'd cool my jets this time around :)

I'm content to take a share of the cash and get a cloak of resistance or save up for mithral breastplate or something. I'm good!

Buy a +1 Mithril Heavy Steel Shield
Have his plate mail enchanted to +1, and
Buy a Belt of Strength +2 (building block for Lesser Belt of Mighty Hurling).

He will probably spend some time customizing the shield using his crafting skills into something suitably Dwarven & Torag themed. I'm sure there will be some time devoted to selling their items and dealing with the legal mess as well.

Oops, should of mentioned that - the 2nd Book is for characters level 4-6. Though if I remember my PFS1E rules right, you should be able to assign it to a lower level character and they get to apply it when they reach those levels. If someone knows PFS better, let me know if that's right.

That's correct GM! You can also completely override the chronicle level/gold and convert it to a 1st level chronicle worth 500gp, IIRC.

Eerily relevant post in the Flaxseed PFS Lodge. I was partially mistaken, as this is an AP (3xp, 4PP), the gold for converting this chronicle into one appropriate to level one is 1398gp. A 1xp chronicle would be 500gp.

Wow! So it looks like we have another 6750 gp each to spend on equipping ourselves. I was thinking of having a Dwarven weaponsmith "awaken" Dragonfist further (paying the 6000 gp to have it become "Flaming"), or I could have both the shield and armor enchanted to add +2 to his AC. That still leaves him some coin left over, so he may save that or look into a useful wondrous item--any suggestions?

(With his leftover 2400 gp, he could buy a ring of protection or an amulet of natural armor, but those things are easier to find typically than having armor or weapons "up-enchanted")

...Of course, a holy symbol of Torag personalized and enchanted into an amulet of natural armor would be quite tempting...

I say go for the weapon upgrade. You're more likely to find some of the "generic" AC items you mentioned, but Dragonfist is the only Dragonfist!
