Nodding to both Sigrun and Hobbes belied the fact that Neverhome held very little hope for the man, moreso since the mold seemed to be growing out of him. But if he could be rescued and his wife saves from heartbreak... it was a risk he was willing to take, presuming this course of action didn't endanger Sigrun, which had him doubly worried. Mold spreads...

I can soften him up with an Evil Eye -2 to AC and cackle when Hobbes starts firing. If the non-lethal damage plan doesn't work, I can try to daze it for 1 round with Ear-Piercing scream. Don't know if that will hurt the mold or the guy. :/

As the group descends on the man, Percy is kinda lost as to how she can contribute. Trolls she could handle. Moss infected men were a different story alltogether.

From a spot on the man's shoulder, a particularly-prominent plant growth launches a spore at Hobbes that narrowly misses.
