Percy Silvershaper |

No idea... we should probably knock him out, just in case...

Lyosha Neverhome |

"Okay, so knock him out. Burn plants off. Mamushka fix any accidents."

Eredhaias Malynneil |

"That..sounds wise." the elf stands back, keeping the palm of his hand resting against the hilt of his blade.
Why do I have the feeling that things are only about to get weirder?...
He gives himself a bit of distance from the strange looking man.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
"Wait! Those growths are from a Mindslaver Mold. A fungus that controls a person's brain. The mold is in charge now."
Will that roll tell me strengths and weaknesses?

Percy Silvershaper |

Percy takes a second, more cautious look. So the plan is the same, ya?

Lyosha Neverhome |

"One more reason not to trust all this green stuff." Neverhome mumbles as he eyes the rest of the cave cautiously.

'Silence' |

Its a mold what?
He asked his hand resting on the hilt of his katana. He wasnt sure exactly what they were to do precisely.
"Do we still want to knock it out first?" He questioned with a slight frown.

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

"He's still alive in there, and it can dodge attacks and let him get hit instead so we need to be careful. It isn't affected by cold and acid doesn't affect it much oh and I've heard that magic does not work as well either." Sigrun says, strapping her hammer back onto her back and drawing her axe. "This isn't going to be easy."

Lyosha Neverhome |

"What are you planning to do?" Beverhome quickly asks as his eyes warily go back and forth between Sigrun and the fungus covered man.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

"You could grab him and put him in a sleepa. We can knock him out like that. Or we beat him until he's knocked out."

Sigrun Jagrsdottir |

"Try to cut it off? Unless we can disable the host without killing him first. But Vashti, you need to be ready to heal the damage we may have to do to him." she replies, never looking away from their opponent and the man they'd come to rescue.

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes' eyes widen as he gets an idea. "I can knock him out. Just keep him off me and he'll go night night." He reaches into his pack and pulls out an arrow with a head shaped like a glove. So I have enough blunt arrows to knock him out.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Nodding to both Sigrun and Hobbes belied the fact that Neverhome held very little hope for the man, moreso since the mold seemed to be growing out of him. But if he could be rescued and his wife saves from heartbreak... it was a risk he was willing to take, presuming this course of action didn't endanger Sigrun, which had him doubly worried. Mold spreads...

Zsestrian Raven |

Zses nods at Hobbes' idea. "Sounds good. If that doesn't work, I could also try to stun the mold with a spell. Don't know how effective that will be, tough..."
I can soften him up with an Evil Eye -2 to AC and cackle when Hobbes starts firing. If the non-lethal damage plan doesn't work, I can try to daze it for 1 round with Ear-Piercing scream. Don't know if that will hurt the mold or the guy. :/

Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |

Hobbes will wait until Zses puts the hex on the man before knocking his bow with blunt arrows.

Zses looks at the mossman when he turns toward them. "Look, better scurry away and let that guy go: we've been against witches, giant mantises and killer plants scarier than you!" Zses chuckles as the enemy approaches.
Then Cackle.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Unsure really of what to do in situations where you had to subdue someone rather than slay them Neverhome still readies to strike the man should he go after Hobbes.

Yep, Neverhome no good with the no killing option XD

Lyosha Neverhome |

'Silence' |

The felinerai moved forward presenting both a juicier target (he hoped)than a halfling. He drew his blade and swung hard trying to hook the mold mans axe and pull it from his grip.
Attempting to disarm! I dont have any cool feats to do it so... he can try and axe me a question about my wisdom in trying such a thing.

Percy Silvershaper |

As the group descends on the man, Percy is kinda lost as to how she can contribute. Trolls she could handle. Moss infected men were a different story alltogether.
She decides finally to release a bit of magic that helped her allies in battle. Cast Bless

Looking at the assembly of people about to administer a beating to the poor man, Vashti's stands ready to prevent the poor mans death if at all possible.

Your Benevolent Dictator |

1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 9 - 2 = 12
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
One of Hobbes' arrows strikes a glancing blow to the man's arm, and Hila takes a chunk out of the man's leg. Silence, meanwhile, goes for a disarm but ends up dropping his weapon instead. The man retaliates with a massive axe swing, but his movements are clumsy and uncoordinated. Silence easily dodges. From a spot on the man's shoulder, a particularly-prominent plant growth launches a spore at Hobbes that narrowly misses.
New Round
Your turns.
Axe-man: 6pts damage, 3pts NL damage

Lyosha Neverhome |

Seeing Silence and Hila engage the moss man while Hobbes shoot him Neverhome decides to just stay back, all the while hoping an errant axe swing might find itself in the winter wolf's skull.

Silence was not happy about dropping his blade to avoid the business end of the axe that he had been trying to disarm. Perhaps it would be easier to knock him out.He let out a curse as he ducked low and got a good reverse grip on the hilt of his katana.
愚かな無毛ヤギやつ
He then rose and swung it hard the non bladed edge crashing hard into the moss man.

Zsestrian Raven |

"Are you just terrible, or you've got weed in you eyes?" Zses mocks the plant man as he misses all of his attacks. Eying the enemy warily for any incoming attacks, the witch chuckles slightly.
Then Cackle.

More blows strike the man. He's looking pretty battered by now. In fact, Hila's bite staggers him for a moment. Your efforts don't come without a price, however, as the man's large axe cleaves through Silence and buries itself in Hila's side. The large pod on his shoulder fires more spores, but they're harmlessly carried away by a sudden wind.

'Silence' |

He roared in pain and a little fury, the sharp edge of the axe made his eyes water a bit.
NEVERHOME! Use the side of that lumbering thing you call a sword and clonk him will you!
He growled out clutching at his wound while further skirting around to the side (five foot step hopefully to flank with Hila since everyone else is watching or shooting) again slashing hard with the non sharpened end of his blade hoping to put the man down before that axe cleaved him or little Hila in two.

"WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BURN THAT THING!" Neverhome howls as the cloud wafts over, bringing his hands up in a futile attempt to cover his face.

Zses sighs with relief when the mold man drops unconscious...and jumps when the thing leaps away on its own and attack Neverhome.
"Aaargh!"
Staring at the enemy, the witch laughs nervously "Didn't think it was that fast! Well, at least we can roast it safely, now..."
Then Cackle.

Lyosha Neverhome |

Roast it, the human, Neverhome, Silence, and Hila.

Zsestrian Raven |

We have professional pyromaniacs in our team! There's absolutely nothing to be worried of!

Vashti moves in to drag the man away from the battle with the stuff.
