Ylosani's lips quirk almost unnoticeably in the barest hint of a smirk, the only outward sign of his amusement at Tchort's comment.
"They should have created a fiercer guardian if they wanted us to heed his message," he comments.
And if that doesn't tempt fate to make it a snow golem or something, I don't know what would...

Tchort gets a +1 trait bonus against "spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities of evil arcane spellcasters" due to Warded Against Witchery. I don't know if that bonus applies in this case, but I'd also like to use Inspiration: 1d6 ⇒ 3 (at a cost of 2 pool) to add 1d6 to that roll, either way. So he should have an additional +3 or +4 to that save.

Any more detail than "Creature" on the creatures? Hard to form tactics when I don't have any idea what I'm fighting.
Yuukyou holds out his hand and fires one of his marbles at a creature.

Nox is beginning to feel like EVERYTHING is trapped. But that probably means they're headed in the right direction. Instead of shooting at the creatures, she opts for a more magical approach. She stares intently at the one on the left and sneers.

Tchort even with the +4 it wouldn't make it, and Nox you would have to move within 30 unless you have something that lets you do it farther out?

As they had expected, there was an ambush, just not where they expected.
This time as Ulric begins his inspiring chant, Ylosani ignores it. It won't help him with the Bow of the Southern Winds and might cloud his judgment.
He moves up to the edge of the water to get a better shot, draws and releases in one smooth motion that sends an arrow hurtling at the one to the south.

Tchort comes back around, the ringing in his ears receding to the point where he can make sense of the world around him again. He looks for a way to help Ulric with the elemental the half-orc is fighting, but can't see a way to squeeze past without exposing himself to further attack. Instead, he heads into the underbrush to move around to the other side.
"If these things are creatures of ice, perhaps they're weak to fire. If anyone can, let's try to melt these things!"
Double move: 45' (through snow; is that difficult terrain? If so, he might not make it the whole way. Feel free to adjust the movement if that's the case)
Ylosani
|
Ice elementals...that seems appropriate. Ylosani thinks to himself.
He carefully steps out of the reach of the ice creature. Mentally, he delves into the stories and experiences stored in the Bow of the Southern Winds and finds a powerful weapon wielded by his ancestors.
Mentally copying some of the power of Deverokai, he taps the hilt of Grindahl's sword, expending some of his Focus to imbue it with some of the ancient sword's ability.
Ylosani is expending 1 mental focus to use Legacy Weapon. Grindahl's sword is a +1 weapon for the next minute.

Tchort's body visibly relaxes to see the elemental in front of him fall to pieces. This strange snowburst in the summer was proving to be too deadly. Too close. Gotta watch myself. This is.... Just have to stay on top of things from now on. Eyes up; stay aware.
He surveys the scene in front of him and settles on a strategy the minimizes risk. Stepping just a small amount forward, he pulls a flask of acid from a pouch at his side, takes aim, and throws it hard at the remaining elemental.

After climbing at least a hundred feet into the hills, the snowy trail finally levels off. In a clearing among the trees, a large wooden lodge overlooks a ravine spanned by a long rope bridge. Smoke rises from the lodge’s two snow-covered chimneys, and large woodpile is stacked against the outer wall. A small outbuilding stands east of the lodge, and a stone well nearly blanketed by snow is barely recognizable to the north. Several tracks lead southwest toward a detached stable.
