heh, I could just cast spells/hexes through the window, but I think I should be available to help heal folks, so I'll run around to the other side, too when it's my turn
Orladan, The Taker Of Life
|
Orladan looks at the window then at the group then back at the window. She shrugs and smashes the window in and climbs through.

|
Sorry for the absence folks, I thought I'd posted an action here on Thursday, but maybe I had just thought about posting an action, but never went through with it. My bad!
Tchort approaches the doors, and pulls them open, stepping aside as he does so, in case there are archers on the other side threatening. If no arrows or bolts come through, he glances inside to try to get an impression of what's waiting for them in there.
Tchort
|
I knew they were unlocked; didn't realize they were hanging open.
Tchort peers into the lodge, trying to get an impression of what faces them.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Looking to get an idea of how the people inside are equipped. Any ranged weapons obvious? Not liking the idea of walking into a tunnel of death, but not sure I want to smash windows, either. The window to his left, is it a permanent window, or can it be opened, such as by sliding up or out?
Ylosani
|
Ylosani is not a brash man, possessing elven patience that has been growing for thousands of years as he and his ancestors have fought the tide of darkness.
It was tempting to rush in but that was not the smart way to approach.
Instead, he stepped up to the opposite side of the doorway and looked in, firing if he sees a target.
I'm not sure if he has line of sight to one of them. If he does, he shoots.
Bow of the Southern Wind: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Arrow: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Tchort can see that near the front they have blades but thats all you can really determine with the quick glance into the hallway, Ysolani lets loose first though at it aimed it down the hallway, he hit the floor infront of the kitchen door

Assuming since there was no answer that the window to Tchort's left doesn't open?
Tchort looks to Ulric, "Follow me in, my friend, we'll protect each other's flanks!"
He heads into the hall, confident now that it doesn't look like there will be a ranged ambush. He attacks the man in front of him. Since he saw someone in the room to his left, he keeps at least a little attention on that door.
Move: 15'
Standard: attack burgandy
Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage, S: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 (vs. the door to his left opening)

Don't forget you can take the raging song for +2 STR/CON, +1 Will and -1 AC
Edit: Actually, Tchort can't afford the AC penalty from Raging Song. In fact, he shouldn't even be rushing into a room full of melee attackers. @GM, instead of the retcon I proposed below, would you mind if I completely retcon Tchort's action? He has a crossbow now; I'd like to fire that instead. Same attack roll vs same target, hitting AC 17. Thanks for the reminder. @GM, if you don't mind, can we retro that for Tchort? It won't affect the attack roll (he attacks with Weapon Finesse), but will add +1 to damage.

as Oraldan takes her 5'step in, she notices a few things happening as their readied actions go off
Dark Blue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 miss
Yellow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 hit
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
light Blue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 miss
Green: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 miss
Orange: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 miss
Orladan notices 4 arrows let loose, and a sword swing down at her, though she is nimble enough to dodge most of them, one grazes her knee
in severe annoyance, she swings and drops orange
Tchort manages to fire and hit the red one and do some damage

Ylosani has begun to wonder if he has somehow offended the Bow of the Southern Winds as he misses once again. It is becoming something of a habit, now.
He focuses, banishing those thoughts and draws and fires again.
He's shooting at Blue.
Bow of the Southern Wind + Point Blank Shot: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 = 24
Arrow + Point Blank Shot: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11

As ulric gets up to Red, red lets ready his swing down
Atack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
and as it comes down it just barely glances off of the collar of Ulrics armor, just as urlic goes to swing, the blow he received off set his attack a moment and misses his target
Ylosani fires and it hits his mark though his target still stands, though not happily

The belt at Nox's waste lifts up her quiver, encouraging her to try to take a shot. She draws an arrow and fires, hoping to help her new companions.

5' step, shooting at blue
Not for the first time today, she wishes she had prepared some sort of area effect spell.
Ylosani
|
Pleased and emboldened by his success, Ylosani plunges deeper into the lodge. It seems as though he's going to get in melee with his opponent but stops just out of range, drawing his string back and letting his arrow fly.
Bow of the Southern Wind + Point Blank Shot: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 1 = 23
